Sorry to be brutal but it was the worst years of soccer am with Goldstein n not much better with do gooder rushden, soccer am was lovejoy and chamberlain n that’s it, I did enjoy the Russ Williams couple of years but it went to another level after that, great humour for the fans no woke crap I loved it

I like Andy, he seems like a great guy to know.
I like Goldstein and although he was never going to be Tim, the show could have still been good, it was the lack of Fenners, Sheephead etc that Tim took with him that were the biggest miss imo
Must have been like Moyes after Fergie for Goldstein on Soccer AM.
The show was glorious but he was never going to work. Certainly not a reflection on him as a broadcaster!
Just simply can’t reproduce the glory days of Lovejoy.

Miss the chemistry that Andy had with Jason. The Sportsbar was fantastic but I’ve said it from day one that Smelts Herring was a certain plant along with the deluded Liverpool fan that used to ring up every night. It was good entertainment but didn’t have me fooled
