  1. Essentials🤔
A Tee Time, Golf Bag, Golf Clubs, Golf Balls, Could do with or without Tees 90% of the time I don't even use Tees! A Pitch Mark Tool, one that actually works & a Ball Mark just incase you're playing with strangers & they want you to mark your ball! A Rangefinder/Slope Reader! Maybe find a broken tee for Par 3's😏 Must have a Sweat Towel in warm climates or any for that matter, a Bag Towel for your clubs(I'll explain a situation later)
A Groove Brush that's Nylon Not Metal(We're not cleaning a grill)
A Cheapy Rain Jacket! A Hat to protect your head! Extra Balls just incase, I recommend having a dozen fresh balls always! Some cheapy balls incase you're not confident & do not want to lose a $5 ball!
You could use a ball Liner upper but most balls have alignment aids(The ball is my alignment aid) don't need to draw on my ball. Drinks, must have drinks, water, soda, I don't suggest alcoholic beverages! In case of a disaster, like sinking into a dry stream bed or falling into mud or a lake or whatever, have atleast 1 medium sized Towel, will save your day from being miserable, in the event of an accident(I fucking sank into a dried canal like quick sand, up too my thighs, narrowly lost my shoes, the mud stunk like swamp(florida) & if my brother didn't have towels I would have been miserable the rest of the game. Water & more water! A snack for people who need to eat, like chocolate, a power bar, cliff bar, some Dehydrated Fruits & Nuts! This all seems like a lot of shit. But it's not. Typically 1 of each item. But definitely you need a groove cleaner that's Nylon! 👌 Oh & Baby Wipes, Baby Wipes are always good to have for any situation & if you happen to need too potty before your round you can be clean all day 😉
Maybe some sort of Bee Sting Stick? I myself have never been stung whilst golfing but sometimes shit happens! I don't forsee ever needing bandaids or blister protection but that could be useful if you struggle with stupidity, accidents or are not on your feet all day like ever! edited for typos & added that I found a Carnoustie & St Andrew's ball markers in an old 1970's bag at the Goodwill, so I use those when I ever need to use a ball marker!

  2. Rag
    Tees
    Balls
    Pitchfork
    Ball marker
    Sharpie
    Sunscreen
    Ibuprofen
    Bandaids
    Water bottle

    Optional but I carry
    Rangefinder
    Phone stand
    Bluetooth speaker

  3. If you lived where I do, and had to deal the black gumbo dirt around here, you would have a brush on your bag. A damp towel doesn't cut it

  4. In all aspects of first world life we are presented with stuff we don't really need. All that stuff has to be mined, made, packaged, transported, used (maybe a few times, maybe once, maybe never) before being thrown away …… and we wonder why there's a climate change issue and loads of plastic floating around in the sea. Everyone just needs to think: do I need it, will I use it, is it good quality. Surmon over!

  5. That black plastic thingy you threw away is the most essential tool for a golfer 😀

  6. Bar one or two items, i'd say that kit was fine. As for wetting your towel before going out, usually unec' as usually there is some water on the golf course. Sharpie, pen pencil, Towel plus scarring square (i.e..rougher), Deodorant, Water proof lightweight jacket, small umbrella, spare socks, Sunglasses assortment, Bio freeze, Spare score card, Firm toothbrush, Sweat bands, Golf bag cover, Spare baseball cap, woolly hat, wide brim sunhat, Spare glove, Plenty of tee's, coins, Pitch fork repairer, spare balls..assorted colours, Lip balm, Half litre of drink, packet of fig biscuits, Ball collector from water streams. Wet wipes. Driver and Glover H'cover, 3W Hcover, Hybrid Hcover, 4,5,6,7,8,9,PW,SW,Chipper putter, Putter (13 clubs)…Occaisionally put my LW and larger umbrella in me bag. Shot Scope V2 wrist watch.

  7. It’s not the second most popular item. You’ve bought a “sponsored” item, which means you’ve responded to an ad. We should al ignore sponsored listings, but I know I still get caught out.

  8. I personally like cleaning my club with brush after every shot… I do it while other people are hitting so it doesn't take up time… But at the same time I definitely understand your point… And it is valid

  9. My favorite new buy is a case for my golf gloves. Really surprised by how well they’ve held together over many rounds and range sessions so far

  10. To answer your question – Amazon sells by posting the product on their servers. Then you place an order. You pay for it and they send it to you. I hope that answers your question.

  11. Ziplock / sandwich bags. Allows you keep your bag organized and anything like extra gloves dry in case of rain or the occasional water bottle leak.

  12. Thought you might of had a shot counter in there too..🤔? Oh well, itseems like there was enough tat to be getting on with anyway..🤣! Very useful insight, cheers..👍

  13. My pipe or a blunt and a lighter some good weed .
    I don’t drink only using after a blow-up hole.

  14. Sorry Simon but the brush attachment thing is great, use mine all the time and if I used a wee one in my pocket I’d definitely lose it.

  15. Sunscreen, bug spray and alcohol. I'm pretty sure we need booze more than a driver on the golf course sometimes. Lol

  16. Why are you using that sharp part of the brush for your driver anyway!? That's for grooves which your driver has none and shouldn't be hitting the ground anyway
