A quick review of the new Titleist U505 and T250 driving iron
Will the best players in the world be putting one in their bag for The Open ?

Hi, it’s Dan Webbs here at Litham Golf Academy. It’s the middle of summer. The open is just around the corner. Playing in Port Rush, Royal Port Rush. These tour players are going to have to get rid of the sevenwoods, get rid of the fivewoods, and get out their driving irons, their utility irons. And what perfect timing from Tight List to launch their brand new T250U. That’s this one. It’s the two iron. and the new U505. Big difference in the two clubs. T250 is a lot slimmer from that top edge. The 505 looks meaty and a bit chunkier. Maybe suited to the golfer that needs that little bit more help. This guy, you know, he just wants to clip a few two irons away and keep it under the breeze. I’m going to put them to the test, have a little whack with them. Bit of tech spec. They’re both singular design, which means it’s a one piece club, but hollow. Um, both have got the fastest faces ever. Apparently, everyone’s doing that now. Uh, they look great though. I’m gonna I’m not going to lie. The T250, the whole new T200 range of irons from Titus has just come out. It’s windy. There’s a crosswind off the left. I want to hit it about 220. Little squeeze. Well, that feel good. Oh, that went well. I’m a little bit surprised with that one. That’s gone like an absolute bullet. I mean, the club does look like it’s going to do that to the ball, though. Let’s get launch monitor on this. So, we’ve got GC quad here. I’m going to get a few little numbers. Haven’t done this for ages, by the way. Love it if you gave me a little like, subscribe. Got to get that in. Um, still been doing a bit of work on my swing. My lad is playing ace, by the way. 11 years old. He’s absolutely whooping it past me. Not if I do that though. Love that little club twirl thrown in there. 2252 iron. I like that. Carried 190. Okay, that’s all right for me. I’ll take that. Was a little bit bottomy. U505 looks a load chunkier. And actually, when I set up to it compared Yeah, it looks like it’s got a lot more weight in the top of the club. Potentially going to help me get the ball airborne though. But um let’s see. Both of them have got stiff graphite shaft in it. Well, that was a shocking swing. Um, nothing can help that kind of swing. Little flippy with the right hand. Proper toe banger, but no good. Okay. Yes. Get there. That’s the one. Well, that felt good. Yeah, it’s definitely climbing. It’s probably flying about 20 foot higher um than the uh T250. Tartist do make good looking clubs. Hazardous shaft in this 60 80 gram hybrid shaft 6.0 low spinning. Yeah, that’s what you want. You might just feel as though when you’re playing this shot, you want to keep the hands ahead a little bit and drill it. 202 carry that time by the way. Quite like that. Oh, that felt good. Oh, I like that. Just going sort of point and shooty low bullet flight. We’ve got we got the young lad out collecting balls in the range buggy here. The two iron stinger is perfect for that’s got him. Come on. Can you hear this? About two yard two yards away. Nearly hit his roof. H. But yeah, this club doesn’t want to be teed up in my opinion. It wants to be drilled down. get onto that left side and hold that hands ahead through impact. So, a little quick check of them. The U505 from Tight List, the T250U, both available for custom fitting here at Lism Golf Academy. Get yourself to your local PJ Professional. Spend some time with them. If you’re looking at new equipment, don’t just buy off the shelf. Don’t just buy online. Get some advice. Get the right equipment for your game. And you might be playing at Port Rush one day with your brand new two iron. One more. I don’t want to stop hitting these. Just check everything I’ve missed there. Elevated speed. It says in the notes. Enhanced consistency, high flighting stability. Yeah. I mean, it’s marketing. You can all read that off the website. Your best thing to do is get out there and hit it. Try it for yourself. Make sure you try. Oh, I like that. Before you buy. Thank you for watching. If you enjoyed it, give us a little thumbs up, like, subscribe. Really trying to do some more content. I’m off to the open this week. I’m definitely going to do something about that. CC.
