good Shane obviously that putt on four
was really big for your team how big was
it also for you to see one go down at
that point yeah it was I missed a few um
around the turn I missed a pretty short
one on 18 and then missed another one on
the second and you know started to get a
little bit into myself uh but to to roll
that one in was nice and to play the
last few holes the way we did was was
really nice too I think um you know bit
of a lesson there for myself to just
kind of keep going and just keep trying
and keep plugging away and uh you know
we did that today and I’m pretty happy
how we finished have you ever played
from that Fairway bunker uh after Rory
hit that drive down there yeah I’ve been
there in too before
um but no yeah it’s nice look it was I
knew I knew I knew if we got through the
sixth hole um you know with you know an
even power maybe one under like you know
coming coming to the last few holes I
knew seven and eight uh were going to be
good chances for us cuz I knew Rory
could drive the green on eight um I knew
seven was going to play short as long as
I had a good drive there was going to be
a mid arm for Rory so um I knew we had a
couple of chances coming in and you know
we managed to take them which is really
nice Shane short game was on display at
a bunch of different places he had some
really sweet bunker shots and some
really good chip shots does that free
you up knowing that obviously you’re not
looking to put him in a bad position but
that that your partner’s that tidy with
a wedge yeah especially on some of the
the easier holes you know the um the par
FS some a couple of the shorter par
fours to be able to get the ball up
there and close to the green um yeah you
know Shen’s got a wonderful short game
and it does you know it gives me
confidence going for those greens you
know whether it be the par fours or the
par fives that if I get it anywhere up
there around the green I’m going to you
know have a you know a very good look
for pretty after after he hits his and
after a couple of the putts that I know
that he wanted to drop in didn’t fall
for him did you say anything to him it
looked like a couple times you may have
said don’t worry about it no problem
yeah I think just um as she said like
you know after those it’s it’s easy to
to sort of get hard on yourself and I
just trying to keep him as positive as
possible and just remind him that that
I’m here and I’m here to back him up in
any way that I can so yeah just you know
trying to trying to keep them
positive cple more guys Shane you said
last night with early tea time you got
your goal is to stay out of trouble get
a l of time this afternoon the goal
still the same yeah are you going to let
your hair down little no no no no no
we’re here to play a golf tournament
we’ll enjoy ourselves we go for a nice
dinner tonight I’m not sure we have a
restaurant book I’m not sure where um
and yeah I I’ll do the same thing I do
every time of an afternoon off I’ll go
back to the hotel fresh and open I go
for a little stroll around the city and
just have a look at you know just look
around that’s what I do Rory you said on
Wednesday that you were going to go bers
for 30 minutes get a t-shirt a lot of
our viewers here I’m a local guy uh did
you get to do the walk did you get the
T-shirt haven’t done it yet maybe this
afternoon could be the
