okay so there’s lots of things you can
learn from abber swing obviously he’s a
consumate athlete so if you’re not a
great athlete some of the stuff that he
does you cannot do is movement and
Separation on the way down are just
world class athletes but there is some
stuff you can do on the way back to get
your geometry good what I love about his
back swing is it’s not contrived it’s
not okay get your lead wrist like this
and do this and then do all this sort of
stuff you know all that all the buzzword
stuff that’s out there at the moment
it’s very conventional very simple
really so get your posture as good as
his get your set up nice and get two
clubs like this put put you know slide
them apart like that put one at the side
of your body hold the other one normally
and just work on trying to get the
geometry good so the start of his
swingler up to his right leg that club
this club here is still stuck to his
body there’s not much manipulation going
on early on he’s kind of literally just
bumped it away a little bit with
pressure shift of his right hip like
this this is still connected over his
right leg and then from there you know
that keeps the hands nice and close many
people do this or that or you know they
get very messy early on so like that to
there and then from here just point that
club down between you and the ball now
you’re halfway home you’ve got the arms
organized you’ve got them structured now
from here you just wind to the top and
you get that abber look where the hands
are over your right shoulder you can see
how the the arms are away from my hands
you know most people try and get it wide
they do it like this by trying to get
wide early like that and end up loading
it late you know you got to go move it
together here up to your back your right
leg and then load the club create this
like L shape here point that down to
between you and the ball and then just
wind your body up that’s how you get
that that structure that width and that
nice short look that he’s got which is
going to help you synchronize things on
the way down

  1. Fantastic video. Sweet and to the point. Most other YouTubers would have turned this into a 15 minute video and lost my interest in the first 30 seconds. Keep up the good work.

  2. Love this Jonathan. Have been following your Aberg comments on Instagram. Have tried this at the range. Superb strikes, minimal effort. So simple.
