Bettinardi just released their first set of irons this week and they don’t disappoint. The CB and MB are both forged and feature multi-material construction with some internal Ceramic Matrix Composite to adjust CG placement. The MB24 have a great soft feel and offer a flat ball flight. The CB24 will be more forgiving while still offering great feel and responsiveness.

Can’t believe it’s already the end of uh March we’re getting into April getting close to the Masters it’s just it’s kind of wild so hopefully you’ve had a good one I know I’ve been uh I’ve been I’ve been struggling a little bit trying to get out and hit some balls we had some

Crazy weather uh last weekend uh or was yeah last weekend on Friday it snowed like six Ines here uh in Detroit so that kind of put a damper on a whole lot of things for that weekend in terms of getting out and doing stuff and um yeah

Just been wild so but overall been uh been really good been uh hitting a lot of clubs been uh you know making life harder for myself in terms of figuring out what’s in a bag I think I did uh uh I’m going to do a Q&A on Instagram today

Uh if you’re if you’re not following Club junky pod uh follow on there we do a Q&A you can jump on ask questions whatever I’m going to do one today I was trying to do it uh yes or I was trying to do it yesterday uh it just didn’t get

Done there I got stuck with a couple phone calls and stuff at work um I mean golf the Rex is my work but got stuck on a few phone calls and stuff so I didn’t get it done today but I’m going to do it on Thursday uh and uh we’re to answer

Some questions but I know somebody last week asked me about like kind of like what’s in the bag you know is anything cemented itself and uh there’s been a couple pieces so I’ve kind of got a bag over uh on the other side of my my shop

Here over into my gripping area uh there’s a bag there with all the putters that are kind of uh in the rotation and and there’s a bunch there I got to weed through that that’s got to be narrowed down a little bit uh I’m pretty sure I

Can play like a putter a week for like 3 months uh in there so I got a narrow few Town um but I put a bag next to that that has kind of the stuff that is kind of gamer ready and right now it’s got

Wedges uh a four iron a three wood and uh and a putter in in there so that is kind of what is I wouldn’t say set but those are the things that I’ve hit so far really well and if I was going to play uh you know something somewhat

Serious where I you know had to bring 14 clubs and couldn’t switch out different shafts and all that jazz and and do the stuff that I usually do uh those would be kind of the clubs that I’m I’m going to play and and those are over there

Right now I don’t have a set of irons in there yet uh right now if I had to go i’ lean on the t-50s but I got I’ve got to play The Blueprint s’s out there on on to actually play them I just got done

Shafting up the pxg 0317 TS with some La golf a series uh I actually got brand new weights for them because uh the heads were a little light with uh I think they had True Temper elev 95s or something in them originally and I put

The 105 La golfs in there and they were a little light and and by light I mean they were like a few few swing weight points light I couldn’t get away with just a tiny graphite tip weight so I needed something a little more heavy

Duty uh so thankfully uh you know I know some people at pxg and made a phone call and thankfully they sent me some heavier weights uh which is kind of cool cuz they sent me the silver ones I didn’t really specify or anything and they sent me these silver weights and they

Actually look kind of good in the the te heads they give them kind of a an all classic kind of a you know silver look on the back I do to say they are not some of them are easy to get out some of them are not it depends uh they were all

Easy other than the nineiron the nineiron I actually broke uh a t a Torx T20 bit and it’s a safety bit the one that’s got the little hole in the center I actually snapped one of those bits uh trying to get the nineiron weight out it

Was like in there so tight I had to add a little bit more heat I had to buy another set of uh you had to order it off Amazon came get another Torx bit and uh even that one uh when I got it out it

Had like a little twist into it I mean those things some of them uh it looks like they use like a red Loctite on there so which I understand to keep them in place you don’t want them flying or out there and they’re really not meant

To be changed uh by you know people like myself or whatever but thankfully I know some people at pxg and thankfully they trust my club building skills so that is there um and then also uh you know before we get into review today I do

Have to say I’ve uh I’ve been I don’t know motivated whatever but uh I know some of my club workking skills in a sense I’ve kind of let go or go by the wayside uh just because in terms of volume I’ve been going that route

Instead of quality uh so I I was uh I’ve been working on some of my feral turning and why I am nowhere near Ryan barath good because he is uh you know one of the best i’ I’ve seen out there he’s so good at it um but uh I did take a bunch

Of his tips whatever and I do have to say though last couple sets uh I haven’t just left them uh just raw ferals which I’ve done before which I’ve done a lot lately in the past couple years because I’ve just built up a set not knowing if

You’re going to play it past you know that two weeks or whatever you you review them I haven’t really turned down ferals or whatever so I’ve kind of been lacking at it so put the old uh I I run like a a blue felt belt uh up on my uh

My cutof wheel SL uh feral turning it’s also a belt sander all that but I put the the blue felt wheel on and uh you know bust out the acetone and you know did a few uh ferals did that set I think I did two sets I think I did the pxg set

I did the the Vega set that has the USD Dart uh shafts in them uh and all these things I’m going to review it’s just a matter of I mean enough time and having enough shows and uh maybe I’ll have to start doing two shows a week or

Something but uh but turned out a bunch of fals and they actually look pretty good I even sent a couple photos to Barra uh him and I are are still good friends even though he left you know he’s with golf.com now him and I are still good friends still chat and I sent

Him a few pictures of my ferals just to let them know that uh you know I’ve been working on it and while they’re not quite his level yet they are definitely pretty darn good so they’re actually stuff that if I was actually building a

Set for you know a person you know if I was like actually running a legit shop and charging people and doing whatever I would actually feel pretty good about handing those out uh the uh the pxg are not pretty good there’s one I got a

Little heavy with the uh the belt on one iron I think it was it might be the seven iron uh and it’s got one little kind of wave to to it uh that I cleared out decent amount of it with with the acetone I smoothed it out but uh if you

Really look for it you can see it there so but they look good and I’m kind of proud of myself I you know it’s if youve been building clubs for 20 years or so like I have you tend to you know forget about those little things that uh you

Know that you used to do well and things like that so it’s uh it’s pretty cool and I know that there’s probably a handful of you out there that appreciate that and have gone down that road where started doing something a little different a little nicer a little better

And it was just it was kind of nice so um I’m going to try to continue to do that everything I build I’m going to try to uh you know make sure I go through turn down the feral do the finishing work that I just usually would skip because once it was performance-wise

Fine I took it out of the course and hit it and that was it but I’m going to try to make him look nice and make them uh you know presentable because this way I can at least you know throw them on like uh take a picture of them and put them

On you know social media and not could just absolutely ridiculed for uh for the the work but uh but yeah they look good I’m happy with it and uh and yeah they uh they turned out pretty good so done two sets both pretty solid uh I’ve got a

Couple wedges that I’ve got to shaft up uh so I’m going to turn the feral you know make sure those ferals are turned and all that as well and you know try to do uh try to do some nice stuff and make sure that I still have some of those skills left

So um but yeah so another good week uh some exciting stuff has just just came out this week just released this week uh and we’re going to talk about it cuz I went out and hit it today um I know I’ve been promising uh a bunch of stuff in

Terms of like what I’m going to review and I know I keep saying it’ll be next week it’ll be next week and it just seems like things jump up so um I will get to pretty much I will get to everything it’s just going to maybe take

A little bit longer as you know like I said I do one show a week um I probably could bump it up and do two shows a week but uh you know at least right now I’m doing one because the thing is I can do

Two shows a week in the beginning of the year the first half of the year two shows a week no problem you know it’s easy there’s so much equipment that’s coming out uh there’s so many things you can hit so it’s just like you know it’s

It’s drinking out of a fire hose at the beginning of the year the hard thing is when you get back down to like August and everything’s out you’ve kind of reviewed everything everything’s been done it’s like that’s the hard time if you’re going to try to do two shows

Because then you got to put together you know what else is out there find some stuff that isn’t necessarily brand new so anyway um but yeah I mean I’ve got a handful of golf bags here to to review which I really want to get on the course

First um I mean taking them to the range and back is I guess using them but it’s not really like using them so uh we’ll get to that and then I’ve got yeah a bunch of La golf shafts the Denali shafts USD shafts I’ve got a bunch of

Shafts so we’re going to get into that especially iron shafts we got a a handful of those which is pretty cool so um and then I I think I have a couple other shafts coming or at least one other shaft if not two uh coming uh

Shortly as well so actually three four I think I got a handful of more so we got a lot of shafts and we’ll be doing a lot of shaft stuff uh here so maybe we’ll do uh maybe we’ll do like a club episode and then a shaft episode each week and

We’ll just split it up that way or something like that but um but yeah I’ll get through it all and I apologize if there’s something specific that you’re waiting on I’ll definitely get to it it just like I said there’s a lot to uh a

Lot to get it’s a it’s a good problem to have so this week it was a little change of plans only because bardy decide to release irons this week uh we knew these things were actually coming uh or kind of coming we uh we saw them out on tour

I know Greg our tour photographer for golf RX got photos of uh the CB and MB out I think it was last week or two weeks ago out on tour but uh bet nardy has been I mean we all know them from doing tons and tons of Putters uh and

Then they did wedges they’ve done a handful of wedges and the wedg is actually really good uh I think uh people forget that betard makes a wedge uh but if you go and try their wedges they’re actually really soft they’re they produce a good amount of spin um

They they only have two so options uh in terms of grinds right now um just because I mean I think you know in terms of demand and you know having as much product they only have two uh but they do perform excuse me really well uh and

I think they look good they they look good they’ve got a cool honeycomb Milling on the back uh they’re all forged uh and uh yeah they’re really really nice wedges uh and then bet nardi’s decided now to go the iron route so we’ve got new irons from BET nardy

Which I’m not going to lie I don’t think I ever thought we would see uh in my I don’t wantest see my lifetime but we don’t I I just didn’t think you know irons would be something that they jump into but uh it makes sense uh they did

They made a uh they’ve got two models out right now it is the uh the MB that I just put up if you’re watching this on YouTube uh just search Club junkie uh but on YouTube and then uh here is the CB so they’ve got a CB and an MB and

They both look really really good uh I love the fact they did kind of the uh you know the the honeycomb Milling uh in the back in the back cavity of the M or the C B and on the top portion of uh of the MB uh but kept them very simple very

Clean just the hexagon with the b in it out on the toe for both uh and then really the name and all that is out on the hosle where it says bet nardy and then forged and either mb24 or cb24 because that is the uh the name of the

Of each iron so really uh kind of two classic uh looks to it a muscle B blade and a forge cap back so two that were done and yeah they turned out really good I think the looks of them visually uh from you know just an aesthetic standpoint I think the blade looks

Really solid uh I love kind of the raised honeycomb pattern in the back and then it’s got a a lower kind of muscle on it that does change throughout the Set uh not only have the sephon irons but throughout the set from what they were telling us uh that the the actual

Muscle in the back is going to change if it’s a four iron if it’s a a pitching wedge because they’re basically adjusting the center center of gravity for each club with the shape of that muscle uh now the other thing that’s very interesting in these is uh they actually as much as

When you look at a blade like this you know especially in mb you just kind of think okay it’s just a piece of metal forged into its shape and they you know cut some grooves into it and that’s it uh and then you know with bardy they

They kind of Mill the back and that’s kind of cool uh but they actually did some some pretty cool stuff to it uh in inside these things internally they actually have uh some it’s a multimaterial head so inside these they uh from what I understand they kind of

Forge it and then they then they insert uh kind of a CTIC or what is it a ceramic metal uh sorry I got I I keep looking at it because I I thought I had it memorized but a ceramic Matrix composite so I guess it’s a military

Type product uh it’s military grade CMC as they call it uh but a a ceramic Matrix composite uh that is actually inside the head uh and then basically adjust the CG and weight profile of each head so uh adjust some of the weight uh and also helps them move around that

Center of gravity and again like I said it’s Progressive so you know the four iron is going to have the lowest center of gravity promote the highest ball flight and then as you go down the set you know 5 six seven Seven’s going to be kind of in the dead center neutral uh

And then as you get do pitching wedge is going to rise up and and produce a little flatter more controllable ball flight uh so pretty cool Players that actually like look an Adam Scott some of those guys that actually really like a little bit of offset in their whether it’s a blade or cavity back whatever uh they tend to like a little bit of offset some players don’t uh so that part is going to be kind of

Player dependent I I think I would like about half the offset that’s an each one the CB’s got a little more than the MB uh and also when you set them down kind of next to each other the MB just looks slightly longer from Heel To Toe not a

Ton but a little bit longer heel heel to toe it’s a little more rounded off uh slightly more rounded shape and the top lines just at a little bit thicker uh and then when you look at the soles of them as well uh as you’d expect the sole

On the you know on the the blade is a little bit thinner than uh the sole on the CB and uh as I said you’d expect that because I mean blades typically have some of the thinnest soles out there uh but I do say the CB does have

Some pretty heavy trailing Edge relief uh on the back of it to you know get it through the turf quickly or get it out of the turf quickly uh once it enters and the and the the whole sole has a kind of a nice round camber to it so it

Should offer some really good Turf interaction I haven’t been able to hit it on grass yet only because I mean it’s Michigan and uh we haven’t had the uh um you know the weather out there where where grass ranges are really open uh so you just you know hitting out of mud at

That point but um yeah the MB looks really solid the actual the cavity is deeper than you would expect uh when I first saw kind of the images of them and again from photos it’s always tough uh but those it looked like the cavity was kind of shallow and not

Uh they weren’t uh really you know the the iron that they knew they had to put out uh if they were going to do irons so uh kind of cool that they didn’t just you know just Mill something just to Mill something and throw it out there

That they did take some time to kind of make sure that they performed well uh you know sound feel everything the shaping and uh yeah it’ll be interesting to see if we see any of these on tour I know they said they know they had some

Uh uh some guys come and take a set or two and uh you know have a set or two built up so they’re they’re definitely out there it’ll be interesting to see if anybody actually puts them in play now the one thing with uh that that also was

Kind of very surprising to me with the uh with both these irons is you know if they’re going to be in fitting locations that’ll be interesting I don’t know if they will be um they are only four through pitching wedge for both sets uh so you can’t get a three iron right now

It looks like uh and there is no gap wedge uh at the moment they play off pretty standard lives they play off 45 degree pitching wedges both of them do they both have the same specs so 45 de pitching wedge and the seven iron comes

In at 33 33 Dees so nothing crazy strong uh they might be a hair strong for a blade if you look at MBS compared to other MBS they may be a hair stronger there but you know overall they’re pretty standard uh and then the lengths uh you know the lies are pretty standard

As well s iron is 62 and A2 uh and the length uh 7 iron is 37 and a half so pretty much you know what you’d expect pretty standard stuff uh betard didn’t go too crazy crazy or too wild uh but I was actually kind of impressed they they

Do offer a decent amount of shafts for this being kind of a direct to Consumer uh kind of club uh like I said I don’t know if anybody’s going to be you know fitting these uh right now but if you’re to order a set offline I mean they they

Have stuff from True Temper KBS you know Project X uh modus so they’ve got basically the 105 120 130 uh and then they have a steel fiber in the you know 70 110 95 and uh uh you know usually I have most of those in either stiff

Regular X Flex they’ve got a but they’ve got a good amount of stuff um you know Project X is just the LZ uh so you don’t get the original Project X or anything like that but uh for the most part they offer a good amount of shafts uh and

Then of course you know you can make La Li length changes anything like that and uh yeah grip wise same thing good am decent amount of of grips I know before with wedges it was a little bit Limited in terms of what they were were offering

But these they seem to have stepped it up to offer quite a few more uh options and then of course uh the other you know big question is how much are they uh a four through pitching wedge set is 1600 bucks so uh about you know not too much

More than what things are going for now uh but uh just a little bit more than maybe a standard set of you know blades or cavity Backs from uh from other brands so not too crazy when I first saw these again on tour I thought for sure

These things are going to be like you know $2 $3,000 for a set uh but four through pitching wedge uh 1,600 bucks and that’s that’s both either the CB or the uh or the MB and online right now you can actually order them um as individuals as well so you just wanted

Uh you know certain certain clubs or uh you could definitely do something where you know build yourself a little combo set and do the CBS uh you know in the uh you know in the in the long irons and then go through and do um you know the

MBS in the short irons that would be kind of cool to do yourself a little combo Set uh up with these and I think it would uh would blend really really well the shaping is there uh the the MB is you know as I said slightly smaller

It’s just a little more angled a little more straight um but not anything too crazy um the other thing that that people have noticed the Leading Edge is a little more rounded than especially in the blade you know most blades a very straight Leading Edge uh both the CB and

The MB have a little bit of a a rounded Leading Edge uh I know that that is typically done for uh you know kind of turf interaction performance stuff like that um I know that again visually some people love it some people don’t but uh it is there in case you’re wondering um

But uh but yeah so anyway we got these things out and of course as soon as I got them I wanted to go hit them and of course I did uh so spent a whole lot of time hitting balls of the range um and you know hitting balls of the range I

Brought my own uh Bush launch Pro uh I do have to say it took me a little while to get it connected to the uh the old iPad uh today but it it it finally got going but um yeah took it out there and even though the Dome I went into to one

Of the domes uh and they have top Tracer there but you know brought the uh the I’m the only guy who walks into a place that has top Tracer and brings my own launch monitor still uh so I did get a few interesting looks uh from people as

I was setting it up at my bay but whatever I don’t care I do have to say though just I mean on a random note the top Tracer when they first put it in like last year or two years ago it was totally Juiced like the numbers were it

Always seemed like everything was going far uh they’ve really kind of dialed it back now I was pretty impressed I was uh the shots I was hitting I’d looked down at the launch Pro and the carry carry distances were within like a yard um almost every time I mean every once in a

While you get one that was a little funky uh from their end but uh they were within like a yard and then uh the launch angle was pretty close every once in a while You’ get one that was like two or three degrees off but most of the

Time it was about a degree maybe off I mean and half the time it it hit it pretty darn close so uh it was actually pretty uh pretty pretty impressive that I think they’ve either adjusted algorithms or whatever but it was definitely more accurate than uh than I

Thought uh now the couple guys who were hitting Balls next to me did not agree with that but whatever uh they were kind of playing a little simulator Golf and they were not agreeing with the shots they were seeing but the ones I was seeing were pretty close to what I was

Seeing on on my launch monitor as well so took them out uh and I do to say the uh the feel on these is is is good I mean the MB uh is pretty darn soft they’re a touch firmer um than I think I would expecting these to be insanely

Soft uh crazy just crazy soft they’re they’re a hair firmer than that but they do really feel really well they’re extremely responsive uh when you miss it even just uh you know a groove or a little bit I mean you miss it just a touch you’re going to know exactly that

You missed it uh the MB especially uh the MB is a little bit softer than the CB in my opinion uh but the MB definitely really soft has a good feel to it uh but it is just a hair uh you know just a hair firmer than some other

You know forged blades out there uh it’s got just a a touch more click to it as well uh I know when you say click everybody thinks it’s such a bad term like oh my gosh you know it’s got any bit of click to it um it it it just has

That that touch more audible sound to it uh on on flush shots and then as again as you get away from the center a little bit uh you do you know get that a little bit louder and you do notice just that slightly firmer feel but overall it’s a

Pleasant feel I I wasn’t uh turned off by it at all uh and again I was hitting kind of crappy range balls so I bet it’ be probably even softer when you get into a real golf ball out on the course as well but hitting really poor golf balls just

A hair firmer than uh than some of the other blades i’ I’ve hit at that same range uh with the same balls now the blade is a little bit more demand is a little bit demanding I figured it was it’s an MB every every once in a while

Though you’re surprised an MB that you get away with some shots uh I did see kind of the more on on flush shots they were almost oh it’s identical in terms of carry distances they were almost identical uh maybe a yard uh different between the MB and CB when you hit them

Really well uh the drop off though in terms of distance on the MB which again I think you’d expect this is a club built for very highly skilled players I am not a highly skilled player that you’re going to see a little bit more drop off uh and definitely did you know

The misses there I would look down and the CB would have definitely a few Yards More carry a little bit more launch out of it uh compared to the MB for me uh so overall uh you know my my ball speed I didn’t have stickers on this I don’t have Club

Speed to compare both um because I just kind of ran out there and I didn’t have myti any stickers with me to put on there uh so ball data only but uh yeah ball speed uh basically average 110 miles hour ball speed with a seven iron

Uh this the MB 247 iron uh had a spin rate of 66 6,649 uh RPM on average now these balls again I don’t think spun as much cuz driver stuff when I was hitting as well everything was a little bit uh tended be on the Lower Side uh but 6649 uh was my

Average spin uh the launch for the MB was 145 uh and then my average carry which again I tell you guys I don’t delete I don’t hit just perfect shots up there I leave some of the bad ones uh the average carry was 150 yards again this

Is for a seven iron um and and honestly when I hit a good I saw the 159 160s which is my seven iron distance uh I was seeing those numbers when I hit it really flush uh and again that launch number I saw few higher than that but

They did come out a little bit flatter uh than than I expected a lot of times a lot of times blades have weaker lofs you see tend toy higher launch with them uh but this one here being you know more 33 Dees on the seven iron definitely came

Out just a little bit flatter I think if you’re somebody who hits a higher ball or maybe generates a little bit more speed you’re not going to have any problem elevating these but the nice thing is too is they come out flat I think you know the better players going

To be able to work these things and flight them down uh hit different shots work it right to left uh all the things that you’re going to want to do with a blade um and then these things again I didn’t have turf interaction just because you know Hitting off a mat but

When you kind of look that at the profile the sols and all that I think the turf interaction with these is going to be really really solid uh I definitely want to take them out to a grass range just to hit them and I only

Have seven irons so I’m not going to go play you know nine holes with just a seven iron or two seven irons but uh they do have kind of a good radius to the sole uh and it should get through the turf I would think fairly well for

For a blade uh but overall really impressive like I said they’re a little demanding you got to hit them uh you know pretty close to Center as you’d expect with an MB but when you do I think you’re rewarded with really good shots uh you know decent distance for

What they are uh and and a good feel to them uh so the MBs are are definitely solid now the CB uh I was a little little bit more impressed with in a sense uh because I felt like the MB or the CB you know definitely had a little

More forgiveness a little more uh you know a little more let you get away with some bad shots cuz uh I I was hitting this one first was the person I pulled out and you know caught a little off the toe a little inside heel um now feel on

This one is just a little bit firmer than the MB uh I thought hitting them side by side with kind of going you know shot for shot with them uh you could kind of tell this is just a hair firmer uh again I don’t think it’s anything

That’s really bad I think it’d be better hitting an actual like you know prov1 tp5 Bridgestone B whatever um I think you’re going to basically find it to be a little bit softer as well but uh you know like I said at the same range say

Hitting against like say a ZX7 uh I think these are Just a Touch firmer um but the CB I really liked I I I didn’t I got over the offset look really quickly uh after kind of like the first couple balls and hitting it I kind of didn’t

Notice that offset as much as I thought I would I thought it would kind of bother me more but it it really didn’t uh and honestly hitting these definitely noticed uh that they launched a little bit higher uh just the window and especially when you’re hitting at a dome

You can kind of Look At You Know The netting and uh the different things they put up I me there’s targets there’s all sorts of you know stuff on the wall uh and it’s just even that 75 Ys uh you know which is you know a little less

Than half of of the distance you could tell that the window was just slightly different with the with the CB and again the drop off on these when you did miss it a little bit on the toe or you caught it a little high in the face um or

Inside heel or or you know any of those shots there you notice that the drop off wasn’t near as drastic and you know you’d hit a shot that you went H it’s not really great and then you look and instead of being 160 you know it was 154

153 depending on how poorly you hit it I had a couple one that were like 145 that I really Mish hit but um but you know overall the Miss hits were were definitely you know better and I know with some kind of you know CBS there’s

Really not a huge Delta between the MB and the CB they tend to be pretty close I felt like this one there was definitely some uh some better ball speed uh and better uh distance out of uh you know out of the CB on those M

Hits um now this one here you know ball speed again 112 was my average with it uh I you know saw some you know 114s 115s whatever as you hit uh but again the drop off when I miss you didn’t see that ball speed drop really fast um and

The same thing with the carry distance you just didn’t see that drop uh really really fast with uh with this this iron um and then spin rate uh this a in a couple hundred RPM less 6302 uh 6,32 was the average for this one um definitely noticed that almost

Every shot came out a little bit lower spin uh some shots were a little closer depending on you know the shot type and all that uh they were a little closer but overall you know about 300 RPM uh is was the difference for me uh between these two launch was significantly

Different as I said the window just visually you could tell uh you didn’t need a launch mod to tell you that you that I was hitting the CB higher but it came in at 17 a half uh for launch and uh again I know this a 33 inch 33 in

Degree iron um I kind of deled everything lately it seems I’m a little bit Steep and I’m just kind of dof and everything but um but yeah 17 and 1 12 so you know two you know three uh degrees different for me in terms of launch between the two and uh and it

Wasn’t like I was hitting you know just bunch of big high Fades with this and you know a bunch of low draws I was kind of drawing everything so you know they were they were pretty close in terms of the shot shapes and and types of shots I

Was I was hitting between the two and then yeah carry wise I was averaging 154 uh with this and and that was the big thing was was I noticed I saw way fewer shots in the low 150s and high 140s with the CB compared to the NB it was just

You got away with a little bit more uh and you know I don’t think it’s like a hot face type thing I think it’s maybe just that CG and that perimeter waiting just keep everything uh a little more uh you know just a little more forgiving

But uh overall the CB I definitely hit better I figured I would I mean this is you know not that I think this is even my game at the moment but uh it’s definitely closer to my game uh you know for right now I mean MBs are not

Anywhere in my radar I’m just not there I don’t have that uh type of skill but same with this I mean the so is uh is definitely I think narrower than a lot of CBS if you put it up I was kind of looking at it next to say like a set of

T100’s and some of the others here it’s definitely still got a narrow sole if you consider how much trailing Edge relief is uh is kind of taken off that I know it’s not easy to show it on uh on video but uh there definitely is a good

Amount of trailing relief on that so the so is going to play narrower uh than it looks but overall two really solid irons that really look good I mean the bag Appeal on these things is going to be insane uh you know especially because if you know and I’m I’m just guessing on

This it’s it’s bardy I would I would think we’re going to see some probably crazy Hive you know limited editions and some cool colors or millings and those cavities or whatever I got to think that they’re going to do something kind of wild and crazy and cool as the year goes

On so um but no really solid irons I think vent and already did a really good job with these um again I think you know visually they look really solid uh I I’d hope maybe you know version 2.0 later on the road maybe they press a little bit

Of that offset out but other than that I think uh the these are really solid irons they perform really well and I think it’s more than just betard to come out with something that looks really an iron that looks really cool and will look really cool in the bag or hanging

On the wall and doesn’t perform I think these things perform really well uh I think for better players more skilled players these things are really going to look they’re going to look good they’re going to inspire a lot of confidence uh people are going to ask about them

They’re going to be a huge talking point and they’re going to go out and they’re going to perform well and people are going to play well with them and be able to hit a lot of different shots uh and I think they’re going to be able to score

Really well with them so the bardy new wedges the CM the cb24 and the mb24 uh I think they did a great job if you go to bard.com uh they’ve got it up there now where you can go on the irons and they’ve got uh they’ve got a link for

Each one you can check them out kind of build your Set uh and kind of hit them but they were uh they’re solid they’re definitely uh really good and again for the price they’re they’re definitely cheaper than I think a lot of us thought they would be so new cbnb great uh stuff

From BET ardy as usual um I’m pretty excited to think I got a new uh shaft coming for the uh the bb1 wide as well so that’ll be out there some more hitting some balls but uh good set of irons and yeah that’s uh that’s the show

  1. Waiting for more videos on these irons as I am currently in the market for new Blades. Wouldn’t mind those CBs or a blend set. People say they look and feel cheap 🤔 for the $1600 price tag.
