today’s topic golf shoes my favorite
Topic shoes shoes in general is your
favorite topic you can’t tell by my
office that I’m a big sneaker head oh I
forgot a
pair here you go let’s
go all right don’t forget if you’re in
the Dem Colorado area what I can smell
the Ste I can smell the steam coming out
of those they’re fine if you’re in the
Denver Colorado area come to our
showroom today uh we are definitely
getting into the apparel market and
actually this video is about a year in
the making mhm we’ve been testing golf
shoes for like a year and
um I am a huge Jordan fan that’s all I
used to wear was Jordan golf shoes but
is the question the question is is are
Jordans the best and should you be
wearing them out on the golf course or
some of these other shoes perform better
we’re going to
Scotland and we’re going to be walking
nine rounds probably more like 10 cuz
we’re doing some 36 squeeze in a couple
extras so we’re
walking it’s going to be
wet and we got a lot of miles to put on
so the last thing we can worry about is
blisties yeah no blisters no so we’ve
been painstakingly trying to figure out
what are our top five favorite shoes
and that’s what we’re going to tell you
now and what are the five best golf
shoes on the market today in our opinion
so it goes without saying I think ESP
especially with apparel Brands yeah it’s
impossible to not have good or bad
biases for sure absolutely so give me a
bad bias I mean we we don’t have every
brand in here we’re missing Brands but
what’s a a shoe you even refuse to
review do you have a brand you just
refuse to wear um my personal bias yes
is
Adidas that’s mine
I will never wear a pair of Adidas or
you will never catch me dead in a pair
of Adidas never will I ever if Kobe’s
not going to wear him I’m not going to
wear him if I go back to my Jordan days
in the early 9s when he sort of got away
from Adidas and was all Nike yeah if you
were a Jordan guy you couldn’t be caught
dead they weren’t even in the basketball
game hardly in the ’90s when I was a kid
yeah they were already that far out of
it which is I’m just not an ad Adidas
guy another brand I’m not a guy on is
Under Armour yeah
personally can I give you one yeah
Sketchers you ever going to be caught in
some Sketchers golf shoes some golf
course when I’m on a walk with Mama yeah
might might wear some some Carry
Underwood Sketchers yeah some slipons
but uh no no Sketchers in here uh e
nothing wrong with those shoes they’re
obviously very popular we are missing
some brands that I would wear yeah Echo
yeah is a brand I would wear New Balance
their their sneaker golf game is coming
on strong they look good yeah
um we’re missing some more but anyways
it was impossible for us to review
everything some of these Brands We Carry
in our store and some we don’t as we
talk about them so we’re going to narrow
down to our top five but first let’s
talk Street sneakers Street golf shoes
that we’re going to eliminate cuz we’re
not taking them to Scotland but they’re
some of our favorites yeah so uh I think
Nike has the strongest Street game ABS
we got Air Maxes I’m wearing a pair yeah
uh the Pegasus Jordan one lows Jordan
one
highs
yeah uh another really strong Street
sneaker or golf shoe as the new Pumas
yeah what are these called even I don’t
even remember the etes no they’re not
called the etes but
great I actually really like these
really comfortable but let’s get down
and dirty and talk about some you don’t
untie and tie your shoes every time not
my street ones so what what are you
looking for in a really really good golf
shoe okay for me since um since we
started the channel right as we were
starting the channel I tore my ACL blew
out my right knee so for me two huge
things is grip I actually want more grip
to to keep from slipping you don’t want
that knee twist no I don’t want it I
don’t want it slipping out that’s when
it’s the worst one downhills so do you
pretty much eliminate anything that’s
spikeless for the most part yeah if the
weather’s even been wet or is going to
be wet
I need spikes once in a while I’ll play
casual round in my in my in my Jordan
Highs but otherwise if I’m taking golf
seriously that day I’m wearing spikes
okay good traction is important for me
um one of the things that became really
important to me and I didn’t used to be
is as I’ve been taking lessons and using
my body more when when you’re trying to
really feel the ground and kind of push
off the ground yeah I like to feel a ton
of stability like I feel I want to feel
super grounded where do you feel that
the most at you think in the so of the
shoe and I
think sorry sorry I hate to say it but I
am I am the world’s biggest Jordan fan
you will not find a bigger Jordan fan
than me on the planet maybe you will um
not in the golf realm I don’t think I
don’t think any of the Jordans
especially Jordan Retros are good to
play golf what about the 11 and
12s I if I was going to play in a pair
of golf Jordan golf shoes it would be
the twelves the twelves are the best for
golf now you want to know why tell me
why these are not designed and made for
the golf course they’re designed and
made to play basketball in yeah and
they’ve been slightly altered as a golf
shoe I think the worst most stable least
stable are the Jordan Ones they’re just
super flat not comfortable and I think
the more you use your body the the less
likely you are to play in these now
saying that tell me Tony fow plays in
these and he plays great so yeah one of
the best on to that’s just my opinion
let’s start eliminating some stuff so
Jordan 1’s got to go I’m going to wear
them to work I’m going to wear them
around the around I’m going to wear them
to the course and I love Street shoes
because you know what you’re at work and
then guess what you need an impromptu
range sesh yeah boom you’re already in
your golf shoes impromptu full round so
we can take these away let’s take away
all the street sneakers we know those
are not making it the trip to Scotland
yep even though we love them they’re not
our top five to play get them out of
here said you want them off the table
completely sure now they’re all
waterproof is waterproof a big deal to
you it’s going to be in
stotland okay let me ask you this mhm
okay so now we’ve eliminated the street
shoes we have three pairs right here
that are pegs Spike
L what’s your viewpoint on these
compared to
those I personally like a spike shoe
myself too I don’t need it as grippy as
you do yeah um but if if the spikeless
design still can hold a lot of traction
I think it’s good yeah um I think the A6
we’ll talk A6 in a second the A6 cayos
probably are the most grippy out of the
spikeless yeah out of the qu about the
kns the pum these are crazy comfortable
they are awesome so comfortable Comfort
wise but they do they enough traction um
not for me okay so but I’ll do the
ignite spikes
spiked oh yeah cuz they sell those in
the spike yeah I that’s one of my
favorites okay so get those out of
here okay what about the Arie paly well
I don’t feel like they’re grippy enough
now you’re tapping into my these are
Puma special editions yep those are the
only Spike spikeless shoes that I wear
regularly and on the course and I
absolutely love them okay but are they
grippy enough
they’re coming to Scotland with me so
okay we’ll keep them in there um Jordan
fours are also great to play in um if
you absolutely got to have Jordans can I
get my two cents on Jordan real quick
goad so when you’re talking Jordan golf
round I have you have more than me but I
have
probably eight or nine pair of Retro
Jordan golf shoes they are there in my
collection for the days when it’s like a
small men’s league or some kind of match
play or like a
12 man tourament going to have fun with
the boys yeah but I want to be flashy
but I still want to play good that’s
when the Jordan Retros come out maybe a
drinking round exactly yes and I they’re
perfect for that but you’re not in
tournament or going to St Andrews
exactly okay I think we can eliminate
all the Jordans as far as s a serious
golf round I’m not wearing any Jordans
I’m just not uh I hate as much as I hate
to say that and in fact let’s just keep
eliminating the process and I’ll get to
it in a second I in my opinion if you
are dead set on Nike golf shoes there’s
really only two that you should consider
if you’re a serious
golfer mhm and that’s the brand new
kkas and they’re not called the Rory but
these are the ones Rory wears these are
the same with the keas they’re not
called keas but that’s what everybody
knows them as these are the two Nikes
you should consider yeah they’re fully
waterproof they’re spiked but have a
nice grip to them and they give you a
really really really solid platform yeah
and they feel incredibly stable now I
think these are the two to look at
because ding ding ding they’re two Nike
golf shoes that are actually designed
for golf yeah they’re not Air Maxes that
are turned into golf shoes they’re not
Jordans that are turned into golf shoes
these are shoes that are engineered and
completely designed for golf for golf so
they’re their two best the Tiger Woods
is 13 not my favorite not your favorite
but the Tiger Woods twelves
are phenomenal okay so we’re narrowing
it down but the Tiger Woods 12s aren’t
on in the market anymore so that’s why
they’re not here let’s um let’s talk uh
FootJoy they are the elephant in the
room they’re the they’re the big guys on
campus they’re the number one shoe in
golf for a reason talk foot Joy with me
I got two out here so have the new
premier series the dry dry
Joys and then what are these ones called
you have three pair the hyper flexes
yeah and you got the classic oh yeah
these are these are part of the Premier
Series yeah so these are the John bsimi
I’m going to get eaten alive in the
comment section I don’t know if that’s I
don’t even know who the guy is do you
it’s got to be some kind of
designer so talk FootJoy with me FootJoy
is going to be that classic like growing
up I always looked at fo jooy as like
the old man shoe okay you know like that
solid white shoe it’s like a dress shoe
but on the golf course then once you
start wearing them you can’t go back
there’s just something about footjoys
that are so stinking comfortable so I’m
a was a huge anti- foot Joy guy okay
then for this why um I like the look but
it frustrates me and and these are super
comfy and a little more casual the
hyperflex is but to me this is the
ugliest shoe they make yeah
so Aesthetics aren’t the most important
but they’re they’re pretty important
yeah you got to like the shoe you’re
playing in these are in my opinion kind
of hideous but they just look like a
running CrossFit Shou so awesome yeah I
hate to say that because they’re
engineered for golf yes and the premier
series as much as I love them these are
very limited aesthetically like you
can’t wear a summer shorts outfit and
pull these off that well you got to be
in slacks but they’re they look great in
in pants so they it’s kind of a love
haate and then I wore them and I was
like holy cow cuz I want stability I
want really good traction I want
waterproofing but usually the problem
with waterproofing is
sweaty they will not breathe but when
it’s a high of 55 in Scotland these
breathe really well so they check every
box for me except limited Aesthetics
yeah I mean the traction they designed
here they’re utilizing Spike list and
Spike
technology um and comfort-wise there’s
no chance of blisties going on are you
checking the master scores I am
while we’re doing a video Yeah and
sheffer’s at- 6 through 17 wow almost
caught up to to Shambo at -7 okay so
let’s table FootJoy there’s our rant on
foot Joy uh let’s touch on the top left
there okay G4 these have become a big
player lately this is the new
gallivanter 2 shoe yeah same thing um
it’s it’s kind of a takeoff of the
premere series a little bit but a little
bit more modern much cooler colorways if
you get any of G4S emails or they have
their brochures that they’ll email the
guys that are on their emailing list
they are like the foot Joys but almost
for like the bad this sounds super
cheesy but for like the bad boys like
the guys that want the crazy colors that
want the the flashy skull design
sometimes like that’s what GeForce Niche
is and those shoes blew my mind dude yes
these are 10 um they’re trendier better
colors than FootJoy um I question that
traction at first but on the gallanter 2
it works phenomenally I’m going to rate
them so I’m going to save my final take
on these for the end yeah another thing
real quick here let me see is this quick
slide heel there’s absolutely no rubbing
on the back of your heel and you get in
and out of them so easy which is the
only problem with foot Joys it’s getting
in and out and then those hard lines
sometimes rub weird okay so this is in
cont let’s limit the foot Joys to
probably just the regular Premiere
Series yeah the hyperflex I like and
they’re almost more comfortable sure but
they’re just too ugly for me can’t do it
okay and I can’t go full Justin Thomas
with the wing tips with the wing tips I
just can’t all right so we’re really
narrowing it down uh we got two Pumas
two Pumas so this is the Nitro series
their new redesigned Nitro now they are
spiked but they kind of have this cool
little trendy Spike design so they’re
not replaceable spikes right however
this wears really nicely I don’t I don’t
see these spikes wearing Down super
comfortable that Nitro cushioning very
stable feel definitely waterproof they
have that same kind of heel design you
talked about my only drawback with these
is they get a little hot little sweaty
yeah they don’t breathe as good as some
of the other Sho but they are they are
awesome especially like the palm tree
crew editions and stuff these are
awesome if if functionality wise I would
go here over here I take these away sure
are you taking these off the table
or no okay okay all right let’s talk
let’s narrow down
A6 and then we’ll rate our top five golf
shoes okay so we have two A6 on the
table we have the gel cayos which is
based off a running shoe I just
complained about that yeah but these are
definitely designed for golf this is the
best selling A6 golf shoe it is
spikeless super lightweight definitely
waterproof
it’s more breathable than the Nitros I
would say but still can get a little
moist yeah in there but an absolute 10
yeah if you’re if you know you’re about
to like for instance Augusta I’m not
paying Augusta and if I was I wouldn’t
be wearing those but of course like
austa that’s crazy with undulations and
a long walk this is the shoe that’s
going to your feet are going to feel
good after you’re round I almost go here
you think so these well yeah cuz you’re
getting the best of both I see you’re
getting the best about this is what
Hideki
wears they’re not that attractive to me
but on my feet I was walking on cloud I
softened on it a little bit especially
after how Comfort they have like this
velvet liner it just feels like you’re
walking like your royalty your royalty
these are probably the most underrated
golf shoe in all of golf yeah dare I say
they almost have the reputation of echo
like they’re just really good for your
lower back kind of good for seniors
younger people really should be looking
at these more especially when you’re
walking there’s no way I’m not going to
Scotland and bringing these because they
give me everything the Kay not bringing
those yeah and not bring and but they
give me the full arch support and just
the Rock Solid feel of the
twisting there’s no swaying going on
with the shoe I feel Rock Solid using
the ground for performance- wise yeah
fully waterproof no-brainer so this is
if you haven’t if you’re looking for a
comfortable walking shoe
a lot of people sleep on A6 and you
shouldn’t be this this thing is legit
okay so we are down to seven then there
were seven okay so give me your number
five golf shoe like ranked five yes so
you’re no there’s seven here cuz we got
two different Nikes and two different
Pumas yeah but you’re bringing I feel
like you’re taking one puma and I’m
taking one Nike and we’re foot we’re
footp flopped on this yeah so my number
five is going to be the
and it’s number five not necessarily
specifically for this shoe overall but
anything in Puma I’ve worn I’ve Loved
this is just my favorite current chew by
Puma so this will be my number five but
you could honestly replace this with the
Nitros you could replace it with the
ignite anything in the Puma realm is
awesome so I’m going to put that at
number five okay I’m going to go Nitro
at number five hey um so I’m also going
Puma Puma makes an excellent golf shoe
it’s just it breathes the least out of
these to me it’s the most sweaty so
through through through winter Golf and
everything it’s great but once you get
into those hot summer days it’s a little
yeah so this would be number five for me
we’ll do your five over there and then
we’ll meet in the middle since we’re
going to blend number five what’s your
number four golf shoe um number four is
going to be that
um gu smack dab in the middle the Hideki
yeah why number four I thought this
would be higher for you is it Aesthetics
it’s Aesthetics it’s just hard to get
over if I go out if I want to go out and
I want to be comfortable and I want to
the best score I can possibly shoot and
I have to walk the whole round for
instance if if I actually wanted to go
do that um test where you have to shoot
76 76 in the same day 36er walking that
might be the shoe I choose so it sounds
like you’re taking these to Scotland I
am taking those to SC yes yes cuz that’s
exactly what you just described is need
shooting the 70s and walking yeah but
nobody’s checking my scorecard at the
end yes I don’t pass the test by by or
not pass the test okay so these are
number four for you let me think here
they don’t have to be four for you they
could be higher I’m trying to
think I’m going to go number four as
well and I hate to be
um vain but I’m only going number four
on Aesthetics yeah same here I think
purely performance I would rank these
probably two or
three yeah oh for sure just Bas okay so
we’re both number four here okay so
number four are the A6 and again sleeper
shoe

jooy wow I did not that’s the number one
shoe in golf it’s the number one Sho in
golf but for me I’m probably doing that
number number

really why why not higher um fantastic
golf shoe it’s my go-to golf shoe right
now not this one just the regular
Premiere
um just those next two are so good
dude I look it I I already know what my
number number one is that’s pretty easy
okay um I for number three I’m not going
here okay because it’s a number one shoe
in golf for a reason in my opinion for
sure if you look at the guys on live a
lot of the guys that don’t that lost
apparel deals Dustin Johnson’s one of
them Dustin Johnson
Bryson what are these guys without deals
what are they all wearing with no
deals the premier Series yeah there’s a
reason
it’s because it’s such a good performing
shoe I digress I’m going number three
I’m going G4 number three really yep and
the only reason is they just feel like
this perforated insole is so comfortable
they breathe they look really classy I
love the trendy color colorways I love
the cool colors on the sole I love what’
you call this this anti something heel
anti-ub yeah they they are tan and
they’re definitely going to Scotland
they just out of all of them Comfort is
not an issue but they feel a little
swayy when I’m rotating through on my
swing I don’t feel like as Rock Solid on
the ground and for that reason that is
more important to me for performance
yeah so I would go number three here for
me
okay so that leaves Nike and for
you you going here to number two that’s
what I thought you were doing Nike’s
number two for me this is your number no
I oh W get ahead which
Nike um number two for me is going to be
the kka so what is that the what do they
call it this year fact check us it was
the next percent 2.0 or something last
year Infinity tour Infinity tour that’s
what it
is yeah I love like the the Air Zoom on
the out soole yeah especially when
you’re rotating through the Air Zoom is
what does it for me and it’s the same in
my basketball shoes the Air Zoom in
basketball so comfortable yeah you have
it like just under the you know why I
love these too these are not number two
for me but they’re really wide right
here and that’s good for my
bunion I don’t have that problem this is
why shoe reviews are so individual yeah
so so that’s my number uh two

between FootJoy and
Nike I’m struggling so it’s between
these two and I’m really vacillating
this this is what this is what kills me
is I’ve seen this man in Nike
shoes pretty much all my life cuz when I
was born you were already 10 so what I
come let’s let’s just do the math out
you’re 15 by the time I start
remembering things you’re already you’re
already shoulder deep in Jordans having
kids yeah no not at not at 15 but um I
don’t think I’ve it’s been up and just
till like the last couple years that
I’ve seen you in anything other than
Nikes and so the fact that I’m
struggling with this decision it’s
blowing your mind between these two yeah
it blows my mind if I was going just
100% on Pure Performance I’d probably
choose these really yes just from all
the things we said stability Comfort all
of it but I just shot for the first time
in like 15 years a 78 in these mhm and I
was wearing these
shoes and the performance is so so
close but to me the look is so much
better that because they’re so
tight the looks can put it over the edge
so for that reason this is my number one
shoe this is my number two shoe well
that’s awesome cuz you and Rory will be
wearing the same shoes
then don’t tell me that I changed my
mind let’s go here no just kidding
um tell me why G4 is number one for you
all the things I already said I love the
comfort of everywhere it touches my
ankle and foot I don’t have to worry
about it at all the other thing is when
I tried them on in the store that
perforated
insole I did not like it no but you
can’t it was so funky like I was like it
pushes weird and then we we gamed them
in Shadow Creek and it it was magic then
the other thing is I was worried about
these spikes for me I don’t I don’t have
a problem with that stability it felt
great my feet were dry comfortable I
don’t say I have a problem with it it’s
just not as rock solid as these two
they’re still a 10 for you but the these
are my number one and the colorways I’m
all about the pinks and the blues and
all that stuff Andy and um G4 did it I
just don’t want you to miss understand
me I’m not like on the t- boox BM like
oh earthquake’s coming I can’t like feel
stable that’s what I thought when you
said I thought you were like oh I’m
walking on high heels no these are Rock
Solid they’re just these are like
really for real rock solid diamond solid
that’s harder than a rock Platinum solid
Platinum solid
so tell me what you think now if you
guys think okay so our top five real
quick for me so we go Puma A6 and this

brands that have denied us from carrying
their products in the store right now
yeah so don’t accuse us of being biased
in fact these two brands have been quite
turds to us yeah actually one of them
flirted with us for a long time yes and
actually another one’s flirting with us
right now yeah but they’re playing hard
to get
so that’s a whole that’s another video

last 2 years and get Brands opened up
when you know nothing about the golf

been a long year and a half 2 years it’s
been a grind I digress there’s our top

we have not tested so this is not be
someone be like these guys are idiotes
the Under Armour blah blah blah is the
best we said that up front we didn’t we
couldn’t try every single shoe calm down
because we we’ve played full rounds in
every one of these shoes yeah um yes
