This simple golf drill you asked to make you hit that driver more consistently every time well it involves a tors stick one like so and you need to have it set up around knee height on your Trail leg now I’ve got it prodded in my ball bag here if you’re on the driving
Range just stick it in the ground if you’ve got a grass mat but use something to get that tors stick around knee height on your Trail leg what’s this drill going to help well common mistakes that we see in amateur gol swings is this Trail leg kicking out in that down
Swing really fast which makes your hip also kick out too fast causing those hands to pop out sha steepens and you cut right across it and hit those horrible slices lack of distance drives and the odd pull sometimes as well so this simple golf drill is going to help
With your Trail leg and hip movement basically which will hopefully then help you with club path moving more into out and get you hitting from the inside every time hitting from the inside will generally shallow your swing out helping you with angle of attack which will
Reduce that spin on your drives to help you hit those longer and straighter drives once you’ve set this golf drill up I just want you to hit one of your normal drives and see what happens does your leg kick out your Trail hip kick out and you nudge that tors stick or do
You miss it if you missed it congratulations you’ve passed the test but if you go and whack that to stick which will start to get frustrating especially if you have to realign it every time this is the perfect golf drill for you so if you do smash that
Tors stick with your Trail leg I want you to do a few dummy runs up to the top what do I need to feel to make sure that I don’t hit that tall stick with my trail leg well I’m feeling that my right hip is kind of staying back for longer
My left hip is is starting to move out and away from the golf ball I’m starting to squat a little bit more rather than my hips turning pretty level and that trail hip Trail leg kicking out too much up to the top feel like my hips stay a
Little bit closed for longer and then allow those hands to drop and swing out towards that gol ball you might also find with this drill to make you stop hitting that t stick is that you need some more turn in your back swings if you’re a real armsy golfer with no real
Movement and rotations in your lower half you’ll tend to see that on the down swing this is your first move Trail leg kicking out rather than big turns which allows you that space for those arms to drop and then you can start missing that tors stick on your Trail leg there’s so

This is good advice for the trail knee with almost any club, especially for those people (like me) who shank occasionally where the knee kicks in ,taking up the space that your arms needed to get through !
