  1. If anything, your arms start at the bottom of the swing. Every pro I’ve seen in slow motion fires their arms right before impact. Looks like a magic trick it’s crazy.

  2. I have yet to find a video that completely explains what the wrists and hands should be doing. For example, this video explains a handshake but does not address how to keep the wrist bowed at impact. Does the wrist roll after impact? But if so doesn’t that introduce yet another timing issue? Nobody answers this question! Hitting the ball with a bowed wrist is not easy especially considering the weight of the clubhead. I can do it but it does not allow me to have a big follow through which is where I believe I’m losing distance. My strikes are pure but my swing stops a little after impact.

  3. I got this tip years ago and didn’t understand it. I thought you moved your whole arm forward like if you were going to shake hands in real life. It’s only recently that I realized it’s nothing to do with active movement of the shoulders or arms, just a pronation of your right wrist so that you’re right hand is perpendicular to the ground and aimed at the target.
