  1. I’m an Ipswich fan, I respect everything Ed has done for my club but even I can can see that rob and Ryan have done more than Ed

  2. Ed's a shirt sponsor, not our owner. He's obviously made a bigger impact than expected as a shirt sponsor for the last few seasons, not an owner for the past 6/7 years!! Equivalent to TikTok for you guys. Pleased with what Rob and Ryan are doing with you but guys you've got to correct it.

  3. Olly palmer. Love the guy. Mansfield town fan and loved when he played for us. Best work rate in the team but noisy couldn't get the ball in the net 😭. But his work rate made up for it. Quality player

  4. They might be HUGE but not has HUGE HAS Sir Elton john he brought the club [ Watford ] in around 1976 and put Graham Taylor in charge and as they say the rest is history. Good luck Wrexham

  5. Ed doesn't own Ipswich, he's a sponsor. And also, this is their SECOND season under new ownership – not sixth or seventh.

  6. It is self serving contempt more than jealousy. It serves other football teams and supporters to have contempt for Wrexham.., so they do.

How does it serve other football clubs or pundits in the country, when football fans across the globe and in England have a love in with Wrexham?
Have Wrexham as their second team?
It doesn't. It takes money and attention away from their teams.
But it serves them to have contempt.
It serves them to stop it.

Problem is as contempt is self serving, self serving contempt can never be satisfied.
    It must exist.
So no matter how shitty the comments get, how nasty things get.. they will always get worse..as the contempt isn't rational, or based on anything reasonable.. it is self serving.

  7. Love Wrexham but seriously get you facts right before talking about other clubs owners Ed is a sponser for 2 years not an owner!

  8. Imagine throwing shade at another club's owner of 6 years just because yours have done incredible things in 2 years… I mean, let's just completely ignore;

    a) You were in Non-League, Ipswich were top-half League 1… budgets are slightly different
    b) He's only been involved since the 21/22 season, which is * checks notes * 2 years.
    c) He's not actually the owner, he's a sponsor

Other than that, you're bang on lads.

    😑

  9. So back in Reality…
Ipswich's 'Gamechanger' owners have done far more than Ryan and Rob.
In the same amount of time…at a much harder level.

And there is a more successful, more dramatic, American 'nice guys' Takeover in British Football…which revived a sleeping giant. And raised a whole community.
    It's in Suffolk.

  10. Why is he slaggin ed sheeran off ed has always supported ipswich and sponsors his club not like your owners who been fans 5 min your striker wouldn't lace one ipswich boot no ones heard of him outside Wales yet everyone has heard of ed sheeran so do one you melt

  11. Poor poor research, Ed Sheeran not an owner just a shirt sponsor, at he’s been a shirt sponsor for 3 year not the 6 or 7 you’re talking about, have fun in the basement of the EFL

  12. Poor research from you lot, Ed is a shirt sponsor not an owner… our ownership group have done a lot more in the 2 years they’ve owned Ipswich than Rob & Ryan have for Wrexham, there’s a reason we won EFL community club of the year in their first year of ownership… the investment into the club from top to bottom is on another level to Wrexham so it’s a pointless comparison from the off 🙄

  13. Ed Sheehan has sponsored the Ipswich town shift for 2 years and is a local supporter. He has nothing to do with anything else. Ipswich is owned by an American investment/pension fund. There are boundaries to what they can and can’t do.

I’m sure Wrexham has shirt sponsors also. Again, nothing to do with the running of a club.

I like Wrexham. I like Rob and Ryan and even after this podcast I still do. Big fan of Ben and still am but this is very bad research. It costs a lot more to run Ipswich than it does Wrexham and I think you just need to be a bit more humble in that.

  14. Ryan and Rob have tons of time to dedicate to Wrexham is just amazing how they have embraced this project fully.

  15. “Stockport, Chesterfield” Yeah because you couldn’t score against us could you Ollie…

  16. Ryan Reynolds is a billionaire. He sold aviation for 600 million and has recently sold mint.

  17. Yes Wrexham are a media circus right now, but they are at the heart a proper working class club and have fell lucky with these owners who know how to generate finances and interest….I’m happy for the club and look forward to having them back in league 2 this season as it only adds value to the whole league.

  18. Ed Sheeran doesn’t own Ipswich, does he? I thought he just sponsored them(?). He was given a shirt number, iirc, but that was it, right?
