Does Patrick Cantlay play golf slow? Patrick Cantlay made his third career hole-in-one on Friday at the RBC Heritage.
Patrick Cantlay makes ace on the par-3 seventh at the PGA Tour RBC Heritage golf tournament. The ace moved Cantlay to 6 under on his round, eventually firing a 6-under 65.
Currently ranked 4th in the world according to the Official World Golf Rankings, Patrick Cantlay started his career on the PGA Tour in 2012 after attending UCLA and now resides in Jupiter, FL.
Following the hole-in-one, Cantlay tweeted. “Playing faster!”, a strike back at @LIVGolf’s Brooks Koepka who called out Cantlay during a golf press conference over Cantlay’s slow play at the 2023 Masters. TV viewers had called out Patrick Cantlay over slow play, and Masters runner-up, Brooks Koepka, poked Cantlay in the eye without saying his name by sharing with journalists at Augusta National, “The group in front of us was brutally slow. Jon went to the bathroom like seven times during the round, and we were still waiting.”
