DynAlign pre-shot alignment minimizes rotation of a clubhead during a stroke. When alignment of face to path does not change, tempo of a stroke has less influence on direction of a putt.
Tempo and timing are more important factors for golfers who open and close the clubface in relation to the club path during a stroke because a slow or quick tempo creates a greater chance for the clubface to be either open or closed at impact.
There is no one correct tempo. Players have their own internal tempo, and great putters can have either a slow or fast tempo. Brandt Snedeker has a quick tempo, and Loren Roberts, Ben Crenshaw, and Brad Faxon are examples of slow tempos.
As long as tempo remains constant for a player who opens and closes the face, their putting can be consistent. A problem can occur when a player feels pressure, which can cause their stroke to change tempo and lead to less consistent results.
