I was just working on my set position and recorded it today and everything looks great and was still finding my hip shooting out and casting the club! You guys are mind readers haha gonna make this my next drill at the range!
Porzak videos always set me straight after getting a little wild with my swing lol
Early Extension is a myth, it's a perfectly natural movement to counteract the forces of the golf club moving around the body. For the average golfer, it's better to ignore the early extension trend…and just work on your tempo.
how do you register for the clinic in San Diego in Jan?
Just tried the last drill. It’s is 😮!
Let’s see a what’s in the bag episode Porzak!
This video lines up to what you and are working on – thank you for sharing
Great drill! I have this exact problem but I also over rotate my hips in the backswing. Any drills for over rotating hips to combine with this?
Adam – Another great video. Interesting you bring up Faldo. He did not want the knees going out into the sofa cushions like you said. In addition as I am sure you know, he would put his front leg against the sofa arm which prevented him from sliding even an inch. His front hip and leg worked straight back which allowed him to cover the ball with his upper body. He believed this is what is really meant by hitting against a firm left side. He is very anti-slide. Jim
