number one is to always hit the putter out of the middle otherwise known as the sweet spot If you hit the ball with the middle of the putter you’re going to be able to control the roll so much better Offc center hits will have big issues with start line and also speed control So use the two TEG drill to help get that club head moving in the correct position and that’ll help you master the sweet spot Number two is be able to manage your swing length It’s very important for you to have an appropriate stroke length and to match the forward time This is going to be pivotal in helping you control your distance Number three is being able to aim correctly You can use technology to help you and putter design You might even use a line on the ball And there’s also the spot picking method which helps you choose an intermediate target which you want to roll the ball over Number four is getting comfortable with aiming higher than you think you need to especially on the long putts Remember an overread is always moving closer to the hole and an undereye is always getting further away Number five is going to help you with those up and downhill putts The putts that travel downhill are going to have more break So you have to factor that in Uphill putts get there quicker They break less You’re going to have to adjust your read accordingly Give those a go And once again let’s see if we can cut out any three putting especially on up and downhill putts
