Yes guys! The two modern GOATS of Table Tennis, Ma Long and Chen Meng, both double Olympic singles champions, go head-to-head in an intense training match at the recent Waldner Cup 🏆

This match is best of 7, but with a twist:

– Each set is played to just 6 points
– If either player takes a 4-point lead, the set ends instantly!

  1. Thanks for this video, My mates and I wish these two legends will come back and play till like what Timo Boll did retired

  2. Huge difference between men and women. Ma long was pushing only 30% of his strength and was enough to beat her.

  3. Awesome. I’m surprised so many people were talking in the background…. Btw I think the Chinese women could beat a lot of the top world men.

  4. New to TT but I notice one thing, these elite players have very robust leg and in particular hamstring development. Can't help but notice Chen's hamstring striations. They must put a lot of work in the gym. Really impressive stuff.

  5. I really wished you would at least make the attempt to ask from a Chinese person how to pronounce Chen Meng's name correctly. Great to see your respect for these players running so "deep".

  6. The guy with the black shirt is pretty good. He should consider to participate in some formal tournaments

    I'm Just Kidding🤣

  7. Curious — why do you always call games “sets”? According to the rules they are “games”. Adam Bobrow calls them “games”, as he should, in WTT commentary — and it’s easy to see that people new to table tennis would associate a “set” with a group of games because that’s how it is in tennis. I’ve heard others call games “legs” and “ends” but as TTD is so influential perhaps using the official Bobrow-blessed terminology would be good.

  10. I hope I don’t sound sexist but I can’t think of a sport where the best female would be better than the best male in a battle of the sexes competition. Please comment.
