  1. Having the the "Want to get yours?" glove graphic rotate at the same time you instruct people to "rotate your grip around the golf club" was probably not intentional, but it may confuse some.

  2. I currently use the inter-lock grip but have been trying the the overlap a little bit. I tried the baseball grip a few times but for some reason I could not maintain a proper swing.

  3. Guys, love your channel and always keen to listen more to your golf brains! I've aimlessly and infrequently hit balls for years until last summer when i purchased a set of 921 hot metals with the aim of playing decent golf. I'm around a 20 handicap (not official) but id absolutely love your feedback, knowledge and tips on my swing. Is this something we can make happen? Not asking for a freebie. Congrats on the new sponsor too ๐Ÿคฉ

  4. I'm a pretty decent ball striker and I use a reverse overlap grip. I know it's very unconventional, but it works for me. Also, my grip pressure is different in both hands. My lead hand is at about a 7-8 out of 10, with my pinky, ring and middle fingers, along with my heel pad, creating all of the pressure. While my trail hand is 4-5 out of 10 (I've even tried 2-3 in my trail hand) with my heel pad creating all of the pressure. I have a grip trainer and I work on it every single day.

  5. I use the inter-lock grip…..but I use the overlap for pitching/chipping as it allows me to have a softer grip

  6. Great lesson and Iโ€™ve bought the glove which is brilliant always a great training aid which I would urge anybody to get. Even the Pros are constantly working on the basic fundamentals. As to the grip always used the Vardon but 13 years ago went to the interlock and having smaller hands have found more consistency and more control. But as my late father who was a 1 handicapper used to say in the game of golf you have to find your own salvation.

  7. Many thanks guys. I have your glove and Iโ€™m working on improving my grip as I have a terrible issue with a hook shot that I believe is related to my grip. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโ›ณ๏ธ๐ŸŒ๏ธ

  8. Realized from this video that my left hand grip was in the correct spot, but my right hand grip was getting too under the club by a hair. Just swung a few with the right hand in a better spot and can definitely feel a difference in contact and compression. It is allowing me to hold my angles better!

  9. Iโ€™ve used interlock for about 5/6 years but after developing a hook mainly caused by flipping my hands and shutting the face, Iโ€™m trying an over lap to try help my right hand to not be as active.

  10. the trick is not to tighten your grip early. be loose throughout the takeaway and downswing. the grip will naturally tighten when it is needed just before and at the moment of impact.

  11. Hey Guys! I love your videos! I really have been struggling with the grip and always can rely on you two for sound golf advice (since before COVID may I add!). I would like to make a request for future videos – 4K quality. We need to get the highest quality because you two show the most intricate details and with your explanations being so vivid we need the camera quality to be that way too!
