Motorized Short Throw Lens with Zoom
Keeping shadows off the screen and golf clubs away from the projector is essential in a home golf sim
projector. The AH700ST features a flexible 0.69-0.83 short throw ratio with motorized optical zoom,
enabling golfers to have more flexibility on their mounting location so they can securely mount the
projector to a stud far enough away from the hitting area while filling a large 10-foot-high impact
screen.
Auto Screen Fit
Instead of navigating complex on-screen menus with the remote, the AH700ST utilizes advanced
camera and sensor technology that makes all the adjustments to correctly fill the impact screen.
With just one click, the AH700ST adjusts and aligns the projection image to the screen edge,
properly formatting the image to the correct aspect ratio and making other corrections to fine tune
the picture. The projector can adjust to nearly any screen size and aspect ratio, completing image
adjustments in just 10 seconds. It then sends the correct aspect ratio and resolution back to the PC
as EDID data. This eliminates having to change the resolution on your graphics card as well as
manually adjust the picture using the remote.
Auto Focus
No golfer wants to get on a ladder to refocus a projector lens. The AH700 now uses the motorized
lens and sensors to auto-focus the image with a single tap on the remote, allowing you to enjoy
sharp and clear images with a perfect visual experience anytime, anywhere.
A Remote Control Designed for Golfers
Projector remotes are typically designed for AV experts
and home theater users – not first-time golf sim projector
users. BenQ completely redesigned the traditional remote
with quick access buttons for the most frequently used
screen adjustments right at the top. This eliminates the
need to navigate through the on-screen menu, so they can
correct their screen – and quickly get back to adjusting
their swing.

Looking to build a golf simulator? I am happy to help, feel free to email me at: a98cr125@gmail.com
Great video Jay! Thanks for posting it. Am mostly curious how it will do with a lot of ambient light. I have the TK700STi and love the pic quality but is just not bright enough. Would this handle a lot of light? Curious if you will do any testing on that. Thanks again!
I've been looking forward to this projector – BenQ didn't launch the LH600ST over here in Australia but I have confirmation that the updated AH700ST will be soon
Seems like the 820 replacement? I think they just discontinued it. Watching now but curious and hoping you compare them. Also, thanks for discussing the clarity. I was very skeptical that a unit that stretched the corners etc would not blur at the edges. You seem to say the geometric correction has not affected the focus at the edges?
Great video…looking to upgrade from my current projector which is the Benq MW632ST. I was only going to consider 4k this time around. Should I pay the extra money for 4K or go with this new projector in 1080p? There seems to be a lot of 4k projectors in or near this price range of 1899. Confused as I was thinking 4K to somewhat future proof my sim. Thanks Jay…looking forward to your reply…Rex
