  1. If you do put them in your bag would you reshaft them. Also curious what's the gapping like between the 8&7 irons

  2. Wilson as a club maker are definitely coming back. They do look a nice club, and I'd like to see you do a course vlog with the bladed version.
I don't think that I've seen a bad review of these clubs.

  3. Like the chapter countdown Andy.
At some point Wilson needs to splash out and make signings and arrange big demo events to back up the quality of the clubs. Last time I saw a Wilson rep on a demo day I tried the `latest' version of the Fatshaft!

  4. The shiny aspect kills me man. I hate it when it's sunny above you and you're getting blinded by your club at address. Lol kills me.
Makes you want to call the president and say, launch the missile at the sun now! Lol but then you'd need lights for night golf I guess. Lol dang it sun!

  5. Great review Andy very well presented and explained. I’m currently playing stealth 2 irons very nice but the 5 and 6 iron at 20 and 23 degrees are a bit strong so have two hybrids on my bad days.
I’m a senior handicap varies between 15-18 as I put cards in every round, swing speed with a 7 iron 70-74 mph, average launch angle 20-23 degrees. I’ve been lucky to test many irons this year T350, I530, G430, Smoke, Darkspeed and SrixonnZX4. Best performing so far T350 and ZX4. However love Wilson so want to try the Dynapwr forged if forgiving enough. I’m a decent consistent ball striker but at all my fittings always recommended game improvement irons but not super because I launch high. The i530 I found as easy as T350 but was hoping to try the Wilson as they look great and forgiving, thenforged face and sensible lofts on the long irons appeal and the price, graphit at £138 where as the others I’m looking at are around £190 a club!
Once thanks for a great review on the most underrated brand in golf.

  6. Ive not seen Wilson clubs in years but have heard good things about them.
Loved how you were smashing the wedge shots out of sight!
    Cheers

  7. These are on my short list for next season. Titleist 200, the Mizuno Hot metals, the Wilson and Srixon. Tough decisions to make.

  8. I bought a set of the Dynapower forged irons a few weeks ago (single digit handicap player, I played a few rounds with them so far), and I like them quite a bit better than my Srixon ZX5's. The impact / strike feel is superior to my Srixons and the sound of a solid strike with the Wilson's is more of a powerful, yet muted "thwack" sound and isn't such a high pitched clicky sound like a compressed strike from my ZX5's. And regarding distance, they're the same or better as my Srixons, especially on mis-hits. So far these dynapower forged irons are the best irons I've played. Only thing I don't like is the set doesn't come with a 4 iron and you have to special order it (and they're currently out of stock of right-handed Dynapower forged 4-irons on the Wilson website, which is mildly annoying), so I just put my ZX5 4-iron in the bag for now.

  9. Welcome to the world of Wilson. I've been playing the D9 forged for the last year and love them. Even better, they cost me 1/2 of what a set from a big manufacturer would be. You didn't mention thr CB which is for the better golfer like you. A combo set of CB and blade might be your best option. Something like 4-6 in the CB an 7-W in the balde

  10. I love Wilson Staffs. I'm playing the Wilson Staff Tour Blades from 1977/78 and are my favorite of the several sets of irons I have. I have to say these new irons look amazing!

  11. I’ve had opportunities to sample these clubs at a local range and was very impressed! They felt great (Mizuno-esque), performed well, and look sharp! They’d definitely be on my list for consideration were I in the market for new irons!

  12. Was fitted by my club pro at Kinross GC for the Dynapower Forged.,,,, (My old irons were Cobra Aerojet) Was out this morning 7am for the first time with the new irons. The feel is soft, compared to my old irons, higher ball flight thou STOPS fast on the greens. Now have confidence of firing into the green and know its going to stop, with the 8. to GW.. Have now taken the SM9 49 wedge out of the bag,,, Took a bit of getting used to a thicker top line,, smile on your coupon with the soft feel you get, deffo worth the money,,, and and club pro was £100 cheaper than American Golf,, always good to support your club pro

  13. I'm looking to change from my much liked but now tatty Ping i15's. These Wilsons are now on the list of possibles.👍

  14. I’m playing the C300 Forged still, released in 2018. As a reasonably fast swing speed (111-112 mph driver) I prefer the more traditional loft off 33deg for 7 iron, vs the 30.5. But similar sort of tech with the forged head and power holes. I absolutely love them to bits and it’s great to see Wilson getting the kudos they deserve. They do make fantastic irons, and the forged wedges are also pretty good
