today we’re talking about my onee kind
of followup of using the ghost katano
what are my thoughts do I like it wear
and tear and where does this kind of sit
in the pantheon of the best golf bags
available so normally I empty out my
bags but I want to show you exactly
how I use this bag um and exactly what I
put in here how do I put it in here all
those things so it’s not just an empty
bag for you guys I get a lot of comments
at how do you organize it I’m not going
to bore you with all the details of my
background but I can tell you I grew up
as a caddy so Organization for a golf
bag is is up there for me um so I do um
putter driver wood usually this is a
fourwood for me hybrid uh 456789 and
I’ll show you a picture up uh pitching
Gap and then obviously the sand and lob
um but want to kind of give you my
thoughts of using this bag for a year
now again what would I change what do I
like and all that good stuff so let’s
talk about first the top and let me take
out this stuff now that we’ve so let’s
talk about the top first with this guy
um again I’m a 14-way guy I know there’s
an never ending debate some people like
less section somewhat more I like 14 way
I’m going to leave it at that so how do
I organize uh my 14-way top again putter
as we just talked about um driver
ferwood hybrid I put in my usually a
four iron or um my g-pod to take
pictures um and then my irons and wedges
at the very bottom so I love this top
it’s velour it’s a little more dense
it’s super soft I have zero issues with
this top whatsoever I think they’ve done
a really really good job the only thing
I don’t love again we talked about last
year was my Putters don’t fit great and
I don’t have I just have my other one
here I don’t have my other but you have
to kind of work it uh to get in a little
bit the handle is great it’s grooved we
talk about I like the groove handles I
think it’s a very nice bag to use this
is a hybrid bag this is not a bag I
would say I’m going to walk every round
of my life with but if I need to walk N9
and a half or if I walk I’ve walked 18
with this uh and the gray one uh it’s
done really well I’ve had zero
issues uh with this bag so love the top
love what how this thing functions
overall really really really really
premium good golf bag I am a big fan of
ghost golf gloves say that five times
fast so I just have um again as you guys
see this is real life I usually hook it
on there or onto uh the towel it’s a
ring but there’s just in a ring when I
play it’s just reality I don’t use um
the glove thing now I don’t use the
velcro here um I just like can wrap it
up how I did umbrella here Loop here
it’s great has a dark black which I love
um towel ring which is kind of unique
and you can actually get this one off
believe this is also a bottle opener I
could be wrong little Velcro on here I’d
like to see this somewhere else maybe a
little bigger but I’m fine with it again
you guys see how I put my glove um
another dark ring here to hook up
probably your rang find or what have you
love this quilted pattern I think this
is what really sells a lot of people on
the ghost super high-end looking I like
the katana I also had um material so
this is like a synthetic leather I like
this versus the engineered mesh that’s
more of a Trad um but it’s still padded
I think they’ve done a really nice job
so a bazillion pockets in ghost I’m
going to try to walk through all this so
it has a top down one here that’s velour
line so you’re valuables I think it’s a
great pocket I love it I love that it
goes down so I don’t worry about this
thing getting open up and bouncing out
really cool here large pocket here again
not large enough for my liking I would
like it to be about here or so so I can
get rain gear in or a hoodie we’ve
talked about this last year so it’s not
the biggest it’s one of my only
complaints really with this bag is I
just wish this pocket was bigger if
you’re needing to go on a trip and you
need multiple pieces of rain gear or
winter gear I just wish this pocket was
a little bigger again I’m not going to
sit on and die on this hill forever it
just is what it is so I know the comment
I’m going to get is how are you how are
your your zipper pulls black um one of
the things that ghost does that’s very
cool is they actually send you multiple
color ones it comes red it also comes
with black um so I just swapped them out
has a very cool huge this is huge cooler
lined um pocket that magnets which I
absolutely love um and also has a
reservoir to let the moisture and what
out as well so again bigger pocket here
and we’ll get into this so what do I put
in here I have more gloves um I will say
this and ghost makes the I have not
bought one um this is an old I forget
even it makes these anymore kelpro uh
was making these and probably makes
these for some of these Brands um and
mine’s gotten a little tighter over the
years so it’s sometimes hard but if
you’re getting a ghost or higher end bag
since with synthetic leather um
definitely get a card trap it’ll save
your bag a ton of wear and tear um so
it’s what I put in there I also have uh
another car trap in case I forget one
um I also have like my valuables uh
little pouch in
here I think that’s it that’s all I put
in there and what’s also neat is uh and
I’ll take pictures of it there’s also a
little zipper pocket in here to get into
um your clubs as well so there’s another
zipper pocket in here that can actually
get into your clubs as well um so if you
drop something if you drop your AP watch
in here you can get to it um they’ve
done a really nice job designing this
bag um you know they have their
embroidered logo here it’s not ink um I
I would say we’ve talked about this in
the past I think sometimes this bag is a
little over logoed um but I just had
somebody a subscriber tell me that a
certain brand is for old people like his
grandfather and this is for you younger
hip crows I don’t I don’t hate this I
actually really like the way they’ve
done this bag personally but again it’s
subjective um there is a pen holder here
which I think they’ve done a really good
job with um as
well so let’s get into we’re into the
straps in a minute ghost does this cool
rubber um logo which I like the handle
is synthetic leather on the top and more
of a cushioned um fabric padding under
here really nice job I’ve used this bag
a million times um and I think it’s
great I’ve had zero zero quality issues
with this we talk about the straps I
can’t say what I want to say with this
strap um cuz it reminds me of another
brand the straps are great um the
cushion is phenomenal in these I love
branding in these where it’s the the
ghost is ghosted out it’s blacked out
it’s just a nice touch the all- white
ghost on a black bag becomes a bit um
much and again the um if you can’t see
and I’ll I’ll put it up in a better
picture the webbing here in the straps
uh actually says ghost on it so it’s
pretty cool I like what they’ve done
cool magnetic pocket in here I’m just
showing you guys real like real time of
what I use this bag for so I have my guy
Ace of clubs I have my ball markers I
also have um my sky caddy that I love I
would never get away from my sky caddy I
love it and golf balls I got all kinds
um from chrome tours in here to uh my
Legato balls to you name it so I love
what they’ve done and again like every
other brand has done you can unzip this
send it somewhere or go somewhere and
get this branded or whatever you want
your IQ score or your ACT score what
have you they do a really great job with
this rubber down here uh it’s actually a
rubber grip so when you pick up the bag
it’s really really nice feels good in
the hand but it’s great what what ghost
has done I think maybe the best in the
business um or certainly close to it is
the rubber touch points all this on top
is all rubber so all this is rubber all
this is rub so this bag is super super
grippy um and also as you guys know I
absolutely love the ghost golf uh logo
at the bottom of the bag so let me show
you just how this their system works if
you haven’t seen this um you know it’s
like a lot of Brands now where it kind
of
stays down which is obviously what you
want so really really like the bag
overall there’s also here um I call
these bottle holders uh for your bottle
of beer or bottle of water or Power Aid
or or what have you um they’ve done a
nice job they magnets but they also
allow you to open it up or keep it
cinched a little
tighter re again Guys these are the
pantheon these are the top some of maybe
the top one or two golf eggs in the
industry in my opinion um it should have
all these features and they do but it’s
a really nice bag um again quilting here
the same pockets on this side it’s
literally identical so I won’t B with
all that but I’ll show you what I put in
mine so I have towels in here this is
from my guys at hatch uh golf if you
haven’t checked out hatch check them out
love their stuff again magnets here same
exact Pockets right no difference same
thing here really like it we’ll get into
the legs this is where I think ghost has
done I w’t say they’ve surpassed
everybody but they’ve done a really I
still have dirt on this from last last
time I played but they’ve done a really
really good job the tough guard here um
which is really cool my only knock would
be is to maybe move this down all the
way this tough guard but they have a
different material here and I’m I’m good
with that um they’ve also done I would
say maybe the best job in Industry with
their feet they have the largest I think
the largest feed I’ve seen on a on a
stand bag or a hybrid bag in the
industry um just really really I mean
this is how they all should be this
should be this is the standard to me um
I’m trying to think if I have any other
I have other stand bags around but this
should be the standard um to be honest
with you this should be how every
standbag comes with super big legs to um
have some traction the last thing I love
the ghost in Black again they’ve done a
really tasteful job um I know again I
get it from both people say oh I don’t I
wish it had less I wish it had more I
think it’s fine um
again the wear and tear in this bag to
me has almost been null and void I don’t
have I have a little wear and tear from
uh I was playing down in Southern Ohio
last year and got a little wear and tear
from the way the the the they were
handling it we were in a trip for a few
days um but I don’t think if didn’t
point it out you wouldn’t notice it um
but a really really high quality bag
again you can walk with it you can use
it on a push cart you can put it on
electric cart you can use it on a
scooter you can use it anything I like
um what ghost is done and again I told
you guys in the past if if I’m not I had
a little trepidation um with their bag
last year because I didn’t know really
who this brand was was it just a
knockoff of some other brands who was it
um I’ve come to really admire this brand
obviously we’ve done a lot of reviews
with this brand none paid for none
sponsored um but really really like to
qual and the number one question I get
and that’s why I did the video last year
between them and another brand was
what’s the best I think it’s a
subjective are they the two best in the
industry I think they’re two of the best
if not the best um I don’t think you can
go wrong either way we’re focusing on on
ghost today but I love the Aesthetics of
this bag uh the one thing I think I
mentioned last year when I did the
comparison is this bag stands a little
taller than some others so I don’t know
if that matters some people like it
taller some people don’t want it shorter
again subjective pieces of information
but I’m letting you guys know so if you
want a bag that has a little taller
stance this is better than the other
ones if you want one that’s a little
more let’s say horizontal or parallel to
the ground this one isn’t the best but
it’s super good um he’s come in a number
of colorways still the black I think
their most famous is the uh Oreo the
white and black I think probably I would
imagine them this they have a beautiful
allh one they have a gray one uh which
we reviewed last year and then now
they’ve tweaked they call it the Black
Ops they’ve gotten rid of the yellow um
which I think is good the yellow threw
that bag off uh the gray and black was
much better they also do Navy um and I
know there some other colors I’m missing
they have a two different material
version of this one um and they we just
did the Weekender bag not too long ago
which I absolutely love the Weekender
probably right now for me is my most
used golf bag um just back and forth
everywhere um part three courses
practice uh lessons uh fittings really
everything it just gets a ton a ton a
ton of use which shocks me um so anyway
so I just want to kind of give you I Lov
really have enjoyed using this bag um I
have probably a 1A and 1B bag and they
kind of switch back and forth this bag
we’ve kind of started using more uh this
year and certainly the end of last year
but great golf bag if you have any
trepidations don’t U they really stand
by their product and I like I said I’ve
really been impressed uh with the goats
golf products uh really everything
they’ve done from their hats to their
gloves to their bags to everything in
between their clothing line um anyway
guys I hope you guys enjoyed just want
to give you kind of my one-year review
of the ghost Katana and really all the
ghost uh any day or I call them everyday
bags and I always screwed up with them
but I love this golf bag he guys I hope
you enjoyed kind of the one-ear review
of what do we think of ghost golfs go
ghost golfs any day or as I call
everyday bag um they just done a
phenomenal job again on the pantheon
bags it is right up there in the top
spot um again I don’t really like to get
into who’s the best bag it’s objective
um there are some shortcomings with this
storage to me is a little bit but
outside of that phenomenal phenomenal
golf bag I mean this everything these
guys have done has been great so anyway
