It's funny to watch people in the comments attack you guys and defend the walmart owners. I have a feeling that the waltons are going to be fine with mediocrity and turd polishing. They're like a lot of owners, they just see the team as an investment rather than an organization they care about successfully running.
Every NFL owner gets a check after the super bowl for the national TV licensing deal, it was 374 million dollars this year. thats before local tv deals or sponsorships, and before any tickets or jerseys are sold! they're just happy with the money. its too difficult to restructure the front office and scouting departments, building a winning organization would require too much actual hard work. easier just to sit back and collect money from the big national TV deal, then hire some media turd polishers to get morons to keep buying tickets and jerseys
I am on the Bronco website, and I see that Pat Walsh is there as Pro Scout. However, it says that Reed Burckhardt is Director of Player Personnel. I thought that was Elway. I am not criticizing, I am just wondering what Elway's actual title is.
