What golf swings do I like on Tour? I like Natural motion. This means I like the homemade Natural Golf swings that employ the most natural movement, like skipping rocks. This is why I really like Rickie Fowler’s motion through impact. IT is very similar to Moe Norman’s release.
In this video I review the Rickie’s “Spatial Solution” to release the club like Moe.

About the Single Plane Golf Swing
The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing – impact.
Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.
This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.
The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

Youtube 🐐!
It’s hard to watch conventional swings. Pelvis up spine down on the downswing. Ouch. No wonder back issues plague golf
Excellent explanation of the concept of beginning with, and maintaining space with a consistent swing plane, using a simpler, more natural motion.
Didn't Moe say his arms and hands were inactive, and that they were just going along for a ride?
Really good material thanks Todd!
In your downswing, are you thinking at all about stiffness of lead arm elbow extension (to avoid open face at impact)? Some of us with thicker chests have a slight bend of left elbow at top of backswing.
Thank you, Todd! One-handed swing = BEST explanation of natural movement of the arms and body.
Very clear explanation about the spacing issue and the compensations that are difficult to repeat with standard address position. I've tried all the swings out there and yours is the simplest and by far the straightest for me! Thanks for the great video!
Best switch I have ever made as far as golf. No pain anymore and straight shots.
Another great video Todd!
I've watched heaps of your videos and am impressed by how straight you hit the ball using Moe Norman's swing principles. I tried this myself and pretty much messed it up. I've ordered your book which should arrive soon. I'm in Australia so no chance of a lesson, but any advice for attempting to make this switch myself Todd?
Is there anyone else on tour with a Moe like Swing?
Also great video, keep it up!
