I disagree. Imagine putting with 7 or 8 different putters. Each one going a different distance with the same effort. Change the effort, and they go all go different lenghts again, but each disproportionate to the effort. You basically have to learn 8 times the number of shots.
unless you spend a lot of time working with wedges, this IS the best way to lower score from around the green. Bump and runs have more control, which is why most pros use it.
