Great advice, but if those batteries were in one of the packs that is sealed good luck getting that open on the course.

2 bottles of lucozade, bag wine gums, fresh dozen balls, couple tees & pitch repairer. Oh and Rain coat. It’s all I take.
Foreign coins make good ball markers.
Remember to mark ball prior to tee off.
A wet towel in the summer ! That’s been brilliant for me this year. Also lots of water and a snack to keep energy level up. 👍🏻
(If I took a note book out mid round, my golf mates would disown me 😁)
All that, plus a wet microfibre cloth which is great for cleaning your clubs. They really get into the grooves.

What is it with English golf that I always seem to see folks carrying their bag. I had a golf buggy 60 years ago when I started this infuriating, marvellous game. Is the ground so soft that even wide tyres get bogged?
What about sunglasses in your bag?
Need none of the above. Just do everything before you set step on the first Tee. With some water in the bag you will be golden
