What they don’t tell you is how rich these kids were. Highland Park High School, Scottie was a member at a very expensive country club his entire childhood. These kids were loaded and coached/trained by the best in the state.

I played in the same high school tournaments as both Zalatoris and Scheffler when I was in high school (2010-2014) – mainly Zalatoris because he was in TAPPS with my school – and that dude was always shooting 62-66 in every tournament. It was never fair 🤣

Was on the golf team in *East* Texas in 2009 but don’t think we ever played a tournament with the Highland Park team or any of these guys. Which is odd since we faced them in UIL debate team etc often, but man I wish I could say I got my ass kicked by these goats
