  1. Whenever it feels like you are adding extra force with your arms, you are usually doing the opposite and losing energy.

    A better approach is to feel like your arms are doing less, not more. This helps your sequencing improve and allows you to create natural lag.

    The key is to keep your trail hand passive. That way, the club can fall into position without interference.

    The less you do with your hands and arms in the early downswing, the better your swing becomes. Less effort early on leads to more speed where it matters and, ultimately, longer shots with less effort.
