I usually play K-sig balls but now that they have gone up in price, I’ve been looking for other options and I found these Callaway Hex Tour (also sold at Costco). To be able to get a 3-piece Callaway ball for not much more than the price of the Kirklands seems like a great deal, and I’m definitely intrigued by them. Has anyone used these and if so, how is the feel and performance? I’m hoping they aren’t as spinny as the Kirkland balls are.

They sink the same as other balls i hosel rocket in the water of the 14th at my local club.
They weren’t bad, but for me srixon hits that right window and felt a but better.
Kirkland is a better ball than the Hex Tour. And the Kirklands are not a spinny ball.
I think Sam’s clubs one is still like $29. On sale now for $24 (5 Off)
• 3-piece golf ball construction for optimized performance
• Engineered core layer provides maximum resilience with a soft, responsive feel
• Precision-crafted mantle layer enhances spin control and distance
• Durable urethane cover ensures exceptional feel and control for short-game precision

Don’t know how Sam’s compares to KS Balls.
In-warehouse cost for the Kirkland golf balls is $32.99 where I am at.

sams are $25 for 2 dozen. likely the same factory
Are k sigs increasing in price or are you just watching online? They’re more expensive online
They used to carry these in store for $10 less. I used them but I’m in no way good enough to comment on spin. Since they aren’t in stock at any stores around me, I just get the Kirkland’s which again are cheaper in store than online.
Kinda BS if you ask me..
I’m gonna go against the grain and say that I really like the hex tours. They were around $36 in store last year and I really hope they bring them back soon. I also like the kirklands but for whatever reason the hex tours felt great off the club to me and just worked a little better.
As others have said if you can get them in store as they are much cheaper in store.
I can’t explain it but when I play the Kirklands I can hit them into a lion filled jungle and somehow the ball will be sitting up and easy to find. But when I play my Pro V1 if I hit them into light rough somehow they vanish without a trace.
After 2 more practice rounds I will play the Pro V1 but I always have the Kirklands with me as well for rounds when it’s not working.
To get a 3 piece ball for the price, this is a great deal. And you get 48 of them. Give them a try, I think you’ll be surprised
Edit: oops I guess it’s 24. You are better off getting another 3 piece, like Legato at that price
Does anyone know the compression rating for the hex tour?
I love Callaway, but their balls suck. I bought a dozen chrome tour x’s and I hate them.
I like them. They’re somewhat soft, fly straight and feel pretty good off of my wedges.
When did Kirks get so expensive?? I remember getting a box for $27.99 last season……
Hex Tour is a good budget ball. I use them in my sim and when pkaying with hacker friends. In more serious rounds I game Wilson Triad.
I bought the hex tour from costco a couple years ago, i preferred Ksigs. I like the yellow version and was disappointed that they don’t have them in store but i was able to get a couple boxes online. costco canada also has the white/yellow z-star divides for like $36 which is half the price of golf town so i snagged a couple dozen of those too.
I tried them a couple of years ago, they’re an alright ball for the price. They performed about as well as K Sig balls do, with a touch less spin (I haven’t tried the new V3 K Sig yet). I hit some good drives with the Hex Tour, but the low compression and lack of greenside spin was enough to put me off them. They’re great off the tee, but not great around the green or on approach shots.
I LIKE THE KIRKLAND BECAUSE I LOSE A BALL FOR $1.70 EACH INSTEAD OF $1.90
Those hex tours are rocks. Kirks by a mile. Also likely cheaper in store
Easy. The newest Kirklands are back to being a good ball.
