Golf courses swing open in North Okanagan

North Okanagan golf courses are getting closer to joining the already-open Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club.

The Vernon Golf and Country Club will open for the outdoor season Thursday, March 19. The course’s indoor Trackman golf simulator remains open.

That will be followed on April 1 – no fooling – with the opening of the Hillview Golf Course.

Two days later, Good Friday, April 3, will, indeed be good as The Rise Resort Golf Course will open its course, and tee times can be booked now.

Predator Ridge Resort expects to open its pair of 18-hole tracks on Wednesday, April 8.

The Overlander Golf and Event Centre in Armstrong plans to open a week later, Wednesday, April 15.

Tee times can be booked at the local courses through their respective websites, or calling the courses.

Spallumcheen opened ahead of the pack on March 5, and remains open. That includes the 18-hole championship course, nine-hole executive track, driving range, and the Rusty Putter Restaurant.
