Senior Design Engineer, Jacob Clarke, joins Shane and Marty at the PING Proving Grounds to review the s259 wedge lineup. They cover the six grind options, the refinements that were made to the sole designs, and how Tour feedback plays a role in the research and development process. They also dive into the importance of wedge fitting and gapping.

Happy to see the E grind with the s259 line in a shape that fits in with the rest of the wedges. It’s such a good grind. This way, it is more appealing to the ‘tour wedge’ type players. Happy to see the Eye shape continued in the Bunkr. Would love to see an Eye 2 shaped line with features specifically for that audience in the future. Thank you for heeding the advice from last year! (or maybe you were going to move in this direction anyway 😊, but still).
so what grind and degree of loft is best if I have like 30 or 40 ft to the pin. level. I want to keep the ball low and start running out to the pin.. thank you
