Joe Ferguson gets his hands on a new set of irons that he thinks has done more than enough to get your attention in 2026, yet many golfers will continue to overlook this brand. This is a shame because it makes some of the best irons on the market and things have gone up a notch this year, which Joe demonstrates in the Performance Lab!

  1. Always played Wilson, as good as anything out there at a better price range too, these look stunning, think I’ll go 3way combo set 😍

  2. I have a huge stash of Wilson blades from the O.G. Dynapower, the FG series, to the modern Staff Models. Would love to test these on my channel. They are gorgeous 😍

  3. Great review – as to why folks are not buying them : for myself I never see them in our pro shop or the only large retailer that is linked to the driving range- if the marketing was stronger then surely these would be on the must try list

  4. I agree that Wilson golf, balls, clubs, bags, etc… are under rated. You mentioned that the low sales volumes might be the paucity of pro players who use Wilson equipment. True. Also Wilson does not pay big bucks for advertising, so there's lower numbers of eyeballs for Wilson mass media. Now my personal experience: For a year I played a full set, Driver through lob wedge of Wilson D300. Bought them used. Graphite shafts. The price was a bargain. They worked for me just okay. Easy to control the ball, felt good in hand when striking the ball. But ball distance with all clubs was significantly shorter than other clubs I've owned. Sold the set. Bought Ping G425 used at a reasonable price and again a full bag. The ball is flying 15% longer with every Ping club compared to the Wilson D300. Price wise this new Wilson set line-up at $200 per club is not a bargain. A Takomo set costs 60% less money. The Wilson is probably a much better made club with superior materials than the Takomo but for a mere mortal golfer (15 or higher handicap) the higher Wilson cost is doubtfully justified.

  5. i think wilson have always made great irons but a lack of tour presence and advertising is a major factor also lack of access to places where irons can be tested unless its somewhere like american golf who may or may not carry them depending on size of outlet i dont think your average pro shop is interested in stocking them as the big four are the real money makers.

  6. I totally agree with you Joe, however im a total hypocrite……

I got fitted in 2017 and I was heart-set on taylormade M2s , even though they are a amazing set of irons the fitter I was with gave me some Wilson D200 irons to try and I hit those even better than the M2s , but because taylormade is a bigger brand I went for them

I think of it like car manufacturers, if you had a choice between a Audi or a skoda yiu would choose Audi every day of the week , even if the skoda is better

Its just pure golf snobbery that im guilty of !

I must admit, those Wilson clubs look and perform amazingly

    Great video as always

  7. Excellent information and video. Tempted to go full circle, started golf as a child with my aunty’s Patty Berg Wilsons to a combo set of these! Does Wilson have any fitting centres?

  8. Brill review – what iron would you say is the softest feeling off the face? To use the whole Joe The Pro bingo card I’m talking Syruppy, Buttery, Melt into the face irons?! 😂

  9. Always been one the best irons on the market at a much better price point.. They do not push the advertising /marketing like Taylormade or Titleist. Probably why the mainstream golf does not even give them a second look.
