There are 120 golfers at Port Royal in Southampton, Bermuda, for the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship and many are battling to not just make the cut but also to earn a 2026 PGA Tour card.

If not already exempt for next year and/or beyond, a top-100 finish in the FedEx Cup Fall series standings will be a requirement. That has created a game-within-the-game once again on the PGA Tour.

2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship leaderboard

We’ve got you covered all day Friday right here with scores and tee times from Port Royal.

It’s looking as if the cut line is going to be even par. Scores have been lower Friday with slightly less wind than the early part of the week, and it’s resulting in plenty of birdie chances. However, play won’t be completed Friday night, so players will have to come back Saturday morning to finish their rounds.

After a disappointing opening 5-over 6, Sahith Theegala is bouncing back in a big way. He has birdied six of seven holes and is now inside the cut line with seven holes to play.

After a 7-under 64 in the second round, Chandler Phillips is in the group tied for second in Bermuda. And after his round, he was brutally honest with how he’s feeling and the state of his game.

The Canadian has maintained the one-shot lead he held after the first round and looks to hold it again after the second round barring any afternoon chasers. Hadwin shoots 5-under 66 on Friday to move to 11 under overall, one ahead of Chandler Phillips and Braden Thornberry.

It’s a good week for golfers outside of the top 100 to play well, and Chandler Phillips is trying not to waste his opportunity. He is 5 under thru 12 holes of his second round and tied for first with Adam Hadwin at 8 under. Coming into the week at 139th in the FedEx Cup, he’s projected 69th with a win.

The top of the leaderboard is getting crowded. Hadwin shoots even-par on his first nine and remains at 6 under, but four players have tied him on top. Chandler Phillips, Takumi Kanaya, Frankie Capan III and Noah Goodwin are all in the logjam at 6 under with the second round well underway.

In total, there are 14 players within two shots of the lead.

The second round is underway in Bermuda while the first round finishes up at Port Royal. Adam Hadwin, the overnight leader, is even par thru 5 holes of his second round so far and remains at 6 under.
