Anna Abom is just one shot off the pace heading into the final round of the R&A Student Tour Series event at Malone Golf Club.
Abom carded a round of 73 to remain on two-under-par and in second place on her own as she looks to chase down Elice Fredriksson.
It was a case of de ja vu for the Maynooth University student who put on a terrific finish to her round.
The 19-year-old was four-over for her round after ten holes following four successive bogeys but roared to the clubhouse with a birdie on the 11th, an eagle on the par-5 14th and a birdie on 16.
Anna Dawson, making her series debut for Maynooth University has roared into a share of fifth place on two-over and is just five shots off the lead.
After an opening 80, the 22-year-old carded a brilliant round of 68 which included four birdies in a row on the back nine.
In the men’s sectoin Martin Lucas of UCLAN leads the way by the minimum on one-over with just five shots separating the top-20.
Maynooth’s Cian Harkin and James Walsh are four-over and in 12th place.
