Hideki Matsuyama lost for the first time in his PGA Tour career carrying a lead into Sunday. His driver betrayed him throughout the final round, failing to hit a single fairway on the front nine. Matsuyama eventually lost a playoff to Chris Gotterup.

  1. Yeah Brandel and Paige are 100% right. It was shocking to see Hideki pissed away a win. They are right, Hideki had nothing. He lost 4 1/2 strokes off the tee. I also believe Chris Gotterup posting -16 got to him.

  2. After Gotterup was done, I bet on Hideki to win. Then he biffed the 18th and went into the playoff and biffed. I told my brother that everyone I bet on loses. And that once I bet on Hideki, he's gonna mess up.. sure enough. 😂
