The biggest prize of the PGA TOUR season is once again up for grabs. The TOUR Championship features the top 30 golfers from the FedExCup standings in 2025, and just getting a spot in the field means a player has an equal chance to win this year’s FedExCup, with everyone back to starting at even par come Thursday. The field is led by World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, who became the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2006-07 to win five or more times in back-to-back seasons. Rory McIlroy returns to a course which fits his eye in East Lake Golf Club. The Northern Irishman has nine top-10 finishes in 11 starts in Atlanta and has won the FedExCup three times – the only golfer in PGA TOUR history to pull off such an accomplishment. Accompanying these two is the World No.3 and fellow Major winner in 2025, J.J. Spaun, who is making his TOUR Championship debut. The star-studded line-up doesn’t end there, as fan-favorites Ludvig Åberg, Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, and Hideki Matsuyama are also teeing it up as part of the top-30 field.

  1. Do they actually pay these commentators? Or are they compelled to only show shots the execs push? Burns, Taylor, Shane, etc. are they in contention? Oh and let’s not forget the long birdie putt of the guy in last place.

  2. Whoever chooses the players to be on the highlights has zero clue on what they are doing. Barely any mention of Tommy

  3. MOVE THE PLAYERS TO THIS EVENT. Make the PLAYERS compete. This entire endeavor was for profit not for players or fans. (Clearly you have trouble with the later) Be better than money. Clearly you are not…. but what if you tried. Also…..What if the fans put up money for the Players to happen at the end of season? What if you actually asked the people you force feed legacy programming to what we want? What if….

  4. FIRE who ever edited these highlights!! Tommy makes 4 birdies and they don’t show any of them as they are too busy showing Sam Burns !!! Rubbish – shame on you PGA!!

  5. Scoring average 66. What kind of PGA championship allows that to happen? I get it. It’s soft conditions. But then they move the tees up? What? Crazy. Not cool

  6. How can an organisation as big as the PGA have such a god damn awful production team? How hard can it be to show the highlights in the order they happened? Pathetic every time
