KAI TRUMP INTERVIEW ON PLAYING GOLF!

My name is Kai Trump. Um, started playing golf when I was 2 years old. Um, my mom actually got it got me into it. She doesn’t play golf. That’s the funny thing. She plays tennis, but um, when I was younger, she I used to play tennis while I started at 2 years old and she used to roll like golf balls to me and I just like putt them and whatnot on the green um, in Westchester. [Music] I would say a lot of the pros obviously like looking up to them and like watching them. obviously Tiger, um Rory, like watching those guys and especially at such a young age and now I get to know them. It’s has been really cool and that’s obviously kind of influenced me. But also I would say like my mom like I wouldn’t be playing golf without her. I always wanted to play college golf even like growing up. Um I would say probably like 9 years old that’s when I really wanted to play college golf. I didn’t know where yet but I just knew I wanted to go D1 somewhere. Um, and then once I moved to Florida, I’m like, “All right, now I actually have like the resources and I had the time to do it.” And um, I just took advantage of it. And I mean, here I am now. I committed to Miami. So, it was it was it was a nice process. [Music] This honestly, I’ve learned a lot from this event and I I’ve learned a lot about like myself and what I need to work on, what things actually have gotten a lot better. But this honestly was a huge like kind stepping stone in like my career because this is my first AJA. So that’s kind of cool. [Music] I had to ask him how he came up with that drink. It’s a good drink. So I would probably ask him that. Um I’d also ask him like how he um how he prepared for tournaments and like how he felt when he was like in contention, stuff like that cuz like that’s nerve-wracking and like how did he manage those nerves?
