Heat. Hey, heat. Hey, heat. The beautiful scenic surroundings of Scotland providing the backdrop to one of the biggest events of the season. And what a weekend in store at the ISPS Hander Women’s Scottish Open. A winner on both the LPJ and LE Tours this season. Hoju Kim once again has her eyes on the prize. A multiple winner and a major champion. There’s no doubting the pedigree of Sean Kim, but it’s been a while since she last marched to victory. The world number one Nedi Corder living up to her billing. The American going low in her Women’s Scottish Open debut. Soheim star Nana Madson set the early pace on day two. The Dane with a sizzling 66. But it’s the English phenom Lotty W who’s upstaged them all so far. Dazzling as an amateur, she’s shining once again on her professional debut. And what a top five to start the weekend. Three major winners, two players from the top 10 in the world rankings, two Soheim Cup players, and the game’s rising star. Well, good afternoon. Fair to say we’re a little excited by the prospect of what’s in store this weekend in Scotland. The Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Tours coming together once again for a special week in the homeland of golf. That’s the prize up for grabs for the fourth year in a row. The ISPS Hander Women’s Scottish Open coming from the west coast of the country at Donald Lynx. A Carl Phillips design. It’s a par 72 today. Playing just over 6,400 yd. Looks lovely, doesn’t it? And the weather also lovely. Very nice. Little overcast, bit of sunshine. It was a cool start to the day, but it’s warmed up nicely. Not too much wind as well. So, it has been excellent scoring conditions. Well, the leaders are out on the course, but before they headed out, Gabby Partington caught up with some of the people out on the driving range. Well, we’re here for Saturday, the ISBs Hander, Women’s Scottish. And what a day it is. Sunshine in Scotland. I’ll have more of it. Moving day. We’ve got some people moving away from me cuz they’re shy of camera. Not anymore. Look at you. You are ready to go. You got your binoculars, you got your backpack. You’ll be watching 18 holes today, will you? We’ve been around uh nine already. So, yeah. Yeah. Early start. Who are you following today? Uh probably. Well, we’d like to see Lywood. Who wouldn’t, right? And Nelly, of course. And Nelly. Well, we’re actually about to head over to Leona. They’re here to follow Leona. I see her on the range. It’s a quieter range this morning. I don’t know why. The sun’s out. People are probably around the golf course. Disrupt her warm up. Perfect timing. Great swing right on camera. It’s almost as if you knew we were there. Looking lovely in purple, right? I mean, you’re having a great day at the golf course for the first two rounds. third round here. How are you warming up ahead of today? Talk us through a bit of that the warm-up preparations. Yeah, just trying to hit a few different shots that maybe we’ll get there out in the course today. Um might be a little bit windier today, so perhaps a few wind shots and yeah, just a few different angles and more of the same really from the last two days. And how much you enjoying the support? Because it seems wherever you go, Leona, there’s support that’s follows you. One man, I was walking around the golf course watching a few holes from yourself. His name is Gordon. You’ve met him before. Tell me a bit about him. Yeah, I’ve known Gordon maybe close to 20 years at this point. me um as a member of Casium where I where I started playing and yeah I mean Irish fans are the best in the world. They go all over for us and nice and few over this week and I mean the Scottish fans have been great this week as well and nice to have a bit of sunshine to bring more out today hopefully. What about the English fans? Irish Scottish. What about the English? I’m a fan. I’ll be that I’ll be that support. Best of luck today. Best of luck today. Well, unfortunately the owner started with two bogeies in the first three holes. Not the start she was looking for. I’m Richard Kaufman. Delighted to say alongside me in commentary are two former Ladies European Tour players, Sophie Walker and Amy Bald. And fair to say others have fared well early on. Yeah, it’s been a great start to the to the day today. The weather is beautiful out there and there’s plenty of scoring opportunities. Miy Lee got off to a fantastic start. This is for Birdie on number six. Left to right and in it goes. She’ll birdie four of her first six holes today. Unfortunately, she’s just gone 555 from the 12th. So, back at five under the world number five. Better news for Paulito. She had five birdies and then followed it in with her six on the ninth hole. Out in 30. She’s now minus 9. Couple of pars on 10 and 11 for the South African also going along. Great guns. Yeah. The South African in a share of fourth place now as is Shoju Kim. Yes, the world number 10. This is for Birdie on one and she gets her third round off to a fantastic start. So that’s the world number 10. Sophie, what about the world number one? Nelly Cordette started with a part. This is her approach shot into the second ball below her feet. Let’s see what she can do. Knocks it in tight. Holds that one. gets to 11 underpar and Lotty W only par the first hole so she is now within one of W. Yeah, Lotty W with around a 65 yesterday leading the way at 12 under par. Two players out on the course seven under for the day. Ky Davidson the Australian with Scottish roots on a run of eight birdies in her last 10 holes. Extraordinary. Hi Jin Choy five times a runner up on the LPJ tour. also on that mark at 8 under having started at minus one. So let’s catch up with the leader who’s now at the second. Well, this for Birdie for Lotty W up the hill going to move from left to right. That’s going to be come up a little bit short for the English woman. Yeah, I think the camera forcehortens that a little bit. There’s a lot of work. You can see from the body language and she not happy with her efforts there. But what a couple of days it has been for what a month it’s been for her. You go and win the Women’s Irish Open as an amateur. chose not to turn professional because she had an invite to the Evian Championship and needed those two points to get 20 points in order to gain her LPGA status which she did in style with a third spot and is now leading here first pro event leading at the halfway stage teeing off with Nana Madson from Denmark she also started with a par was on the wrong side of the draw Madson so this is a credit to her to be in this position Well, a bit of a misread there from the Dayton who shot 66 yesterday, looking to add to her one LPGA, one ladies European tour titles. is a co-sanction event. The 23rd edition of the ISBS Handle Women’s Scottish Open. The ninth time co-sanction by both tours. Fourth year in a row here at Dun Donald Lynx. And you look at our leaderboards and it is a sea of red. It is a day so far at least. We know the weather concern, but it is a day to make a low number. It is absolutely. You can see how many birdies have already been out there this morning and it it’s just showing that the weather conditions that these players are really taking advantage of that. Some nice pin positions out there today. Accessible pins and as we know the wind’s not quite up as much as it was yesterday morning for sure. A bit of tidying up to do for Liy Wo. Just the one bogey so far this week and that’s the way it remains. So par start yesterday she started fairly slowly didn’t she Sophie four stroke pars the start is not easy here at Dundon links the first plays the hardest hole on the golf course then you’ve got the fourth difficult as well and lot’s been laying up on the par fives this is Kim good birdie she’s three under for her first two under sorry for her first three holes got off to a lovely start Yeah. So that takes Hoju Kim within a couple of the lead. Last year’s champion Lauren Coglin. This is 145 yds downwind par three. That’s delightful from Cognit. Nice confidence booster back in Scotland defending a title for the very first time. This at the final hole for what’s been a brilliant round for Xin Choy. Seven under the card has not made a bogey today. Looking like four straight pass to finish. There you go. 65 player yet to win on the LPGA tour, but she has come close so many times. 65 equals the best of the week which came from Lotty Road yesterday. Back to the 30 T. This is the par five. Winds off the right here. The backpipes. They are playing Amy. Very Scottish. Nana Madson looking to take one down the left side of the fairway. finish line. Similar type. Yeah. You caddy this week for Liy W. Yeah, she’s got she’s got Derma on the bag who was caddied for Leona Maguire, Shane Lowry. He was actually on the bag of Franchesco Molinari before moving to Lotty W. Highly recommended by the Irish contingent, Padre Carrington, who’s actually leading the seniors Open down at Sunningale hybrid. There is a bunker down there on number three. Looks like she was laying up a bunker anyway. So, how did she get to the top of the leaderboard? Lotty Road opened up with a 67 on day one. So, went out yesterday afternoon. It was a bit breezy when she went out. Four straight PS to start the day, but then suddenly the floodgates opened. This was at the par 514th playing with Charlie Hall and Nelly Corder. Birdie number one of the day. Couple of pass to follow this at the short par four as it was playing 17th. Her wedge game maybe the biggest strength of them all. So another birdie there. trying to catch Nana Madson who was leading the way at 10 under par. Finished her front nine with another birdie. So out in 33. She then followed that with birdies at the third, the fifth and the seventh. And one more for good measure at her final hole of the day, the ninth, for a round of 65. And you know on that final hole, Charlie holds a put. Nelly holds a put for By. She’s the last one to put. and then just steps it in the hole. I mean, she is showing no signs of this is her debut in professional golf. I mean, what a month it’s been, Amy. All the achievements she’s had in July that Sophie earlier mentioned any of them, all of them rather. This might be about to trump the lot of that. Absolutely. I I think it’s been a while since we’ve seen someone coming from British golf coming through the rankings that’s just going to be an absolute superstar. We were talking about it earlier off air, Richard, that we’ve probably not seen anyone like this since Laura Davis, Dame Laura Davis, sorry. Yeah, maybe is uh as big as that. Nearly on the green in two at the third. This for Eagle. She has birdied this hole. Two days in a row. Going to have another good look for birdie. I mean, if Nelly needed an extra incentive, this young buck turns up, plays with her for a couple of days, outscores her by two, there’s an extra incentive if she needed one. In terms that she she hasn’t won, has she this year, Nelly Cer, the world number one, and it’s coming to Scotland. Some preparation for next week down in Wales. She came so close at St. Andrews last year. She did it out of bounds I think on the Saturday on the par four 16th then made a six on the 14th hole par five from nowhere and was in tears when she finished that round. She really felt that was the one and there’s got some unfinished business with this women’s open as Nelly called her. Yes. Yeah. Exactly. Fly that. So you’re looking to fly that back. Yeah. Yeah. Straight into Yes. Well, you mentioned how she’s laid up the last few days. Netty Corder managed to reach this green in two. This is for her 16th birdie of the week and she misses out. You’d have thought that would have have to have fallen from left to right. She’s hit two good PS there, but he’s walking off with a par five. Yeah, disappointment for Nelly Corder. So that was to actually tie Liy W at the top of the leaderboard. Fairway wood. There is a burn that goes across this fairway that she’ll be trying to carry. Can’t reach the green from here. Derma likes it. Caddy. There’s the reason why. You just tell them not to stand. Say Kim for part. No problems there. Three pass to start the day for a player who’s won 12 times on the LPJ tour, including a major 5 years ago. Won the KPMG Women’s PGA. There’s the FTH of Clyde. It’s a little calmer out there today than it was yesterday. And there’s the trophy won last year by Lauren Coglin. Who’s it going to be in 2025? early stages of this third round. Caris Davidson has just dropped a shot after that brilliant run that she’s been on. So, she’s back to seven under par. Lots of players reaping the rewards of a calm day on the West Coast. noted the name of Georgia Hall there on that second page. She’s a couple under for the day. A huge T-shot down this third hole. Averages over 270 yd from the T- box. Madson going for it into wind right to left. Cold line. That’s left. Oh, the soft bounce. Oh, no. It’s okay. He He moved him. Huh? All right. You want to see that picture? We’ve had a lot of rain over the last few days here at Dundonald Links. That’s the way to spend the afternoon. Comfy seat, bag of crisps, bottler. Some of the best players in the world. Georgia Hall for birdie on seven left to right. Going along nicely today. Two under for her round so far. Yeah, big weekend you feel for George Hall. You could say the same about Lauren Cogland really given the way she’s played the last few months. Certainly looking for some confidence that round of 69 would have given her that. And it’s the flat stick that hasn’t been quite as good this year for Lauren Coglin. She missed four out the last five cuts on the LPGA Tour. Yeah, last year that club was uh well redot. She single putted the last seven greens on her way to winning here. But this year, not been the case. Here’s the Ladies European Tour rankings. Only Darcy Harry and Kiara Tambellini in positions 9 and 10 have actually made the cut here this weekend. So, there isn’t going to be too much change in that top 10 on the order of merit. Mimi Roads likely to still be leading the way. Come the end of the week. 18 tournaments on the LPJ tour this year. There’s been 19 different winners. The top three would make that well 20 different winners in 19 events. The top three on the leaderboard the weekend haven’t been amongst those champions. So there could be plenty of change on the LPGA tour rankings. Lotty W hasn’t been able to count towards the race to the CME Globe or the Ladies European Tour Order America. This is her first week as a member of the LPGA. Ly word having just turned professional when she won the Women’s Irish Open. she could take up membership of the Ladies European tour and turn pro straight away, but she only had 24 hours to do that, which she didn’t because she wanted to play Evian as an amateur and get those 20 points, which means she only becomes a member of the Ladies European tour in January next year, unless unless she wins here in Scotland this weekend, which means she’ll be a member of the LT for in time for next week’s AIG Women’s Open. But we’ll let that all play out. Focus on this third to the third. Pitching this one in. Pin is towards the back. It’s on a a second tier here. There’s a slope on the left of it. So, keep this right. Not shy there. Probably 25 ft left. So, for her standards, the line was good. Not quite the distance. But yeah, going back to that lotty word point, she can’t pick up so poign points. Can’t pick up order of merit points. Sean Kim 166 yds the fourth hole today. Nicely under the pin. Lindy Duncan who was one of those in the playoff at the start of the year at the Chevron Championship. Nice. Yeah, she was great in that playoff, wasn’t she? How she got into it was the up and down. Yeah, at 18. She was so It was a crazy finish though, wasn’t it? We could say half the field was in the playoff, couldn’t we? And every time we come to someone, they Well, Ku Kim was she’s uh out there with Eddie Corder right now. Sean Kim up there too. So Nana here left of this group. Looks like might be a little tricky with that down slope. Amy, yeah, where she’s going to be landing on the front, it’s going to be very fast down to this pin. So going to be interesting to see whether she opts to chip and run this into the bank. What do you think? Just land it on top. Let it roll down. I think needs to land this just on the fringe short. Get it to stop a little bit and then get it releasing down to the pin. There’s not much break when it hits the green. Slow down. Oh wow. That’s how you slow it down. An eagle for Nana Madson. And that is a move there. She’s got herself to 12 under par. Lotty W has company. Well, sometimes it’s great to be great, but it’s even better be good and lucky. And you have to say that was a big break for Nana Curts Madson there. That was traveling. I mean, she’s turned a a five into a three just like that. Confirmation alongside Lotty W for now at 12 under going 25 ft past maybe and the rest. Well, fourth fourth eagle on this third hole goes to Nana Madson. So over to you Lotty. She is now tied for the lead. It was on the third day in Ireland, wasn’t it, where she just stretched away from everyone, opened up a sevenshot lead, having started the day just in front like she is today. But she has been caught already, but has to go back in front on her own. Good attempt. Hit shot wasn’t close enough really. That’s going to be a pile for Lotty W. Three PS in a row. And you might say someone making their professional debut, you know, you’ve been caught already. It might unnerve one or two. But from what we’ve seen of Lotty W after the last month, nothing seems to intimidate her at all. She looked terrified there, didn’t she? Cers missed the fourth green left. Well judged that. Well, outside of the main race, which is to win this Women’s Scottish Open, there are also three places up for grabs for the AIG Women’s Open. And as it stands, Apacha Yubon is one of those very much in the mix for those three spots. That will help. Sean Kim, this for birdie on four. It’s going to move from left to right and in it goes. Gets to minus 10. First birdie of the of the day for her. Her caddy Paul told her to play more like Scottish Sheffller. Not bad piece of advice. Boring golf. He said, “Come on, let’s go back to boring golf. Fairways, greens, and wholesome puts.” And she did that yesterday. If only it was that easy, Paul. You look at the leaderboard those around Lotty Wheim Cup players you know look at the players tied for fourth in Hoju Kim and Sean Kim talking major champions Netti Corder the world number one it’s esteemed company she is in that she just seems to thrive with what some might see as pressure. 166 yds. The fourth is playing. The wind’s off the right. You can see the pin is 17 on eight from the left. There’s a bunker left of this green that it feeds into. So, you want to keep this shot middle of the green, right of this pin. Seven iron. Anything turning right to left will catch that wind from right to left. So, you’ve got to keep this club face square. Do not flip it. I’m pretty sure she had that in her mind in the down swing. Yeah, you do not want to miss this green left. If you’re going to miss it, that’s the spot. She is very much in the spotlight. Wow. Next. Looking for that same play. Start it at the middle of the fairway. There is a a bank halfway up this green that you can stun it into and take some speed off it. So looking at a 160 landing point here for W. She’s done the same. Quite sheltered that T- box and then hitting out into a right to left wind. That was there was a sixiron actually for word. So this wind is picking up. Well, it was a steady start for her yesterday and then she burst into life went round in 65. All pass so far for the overnight leader. What a hold out from Nana Madson. the Dane who played the Soulheim Cup in 2021 now has caught Lotty W at 12 under with the world number one just a stroke behind the two Kims there and Sey at 10 under parto another one who’s looking to claim one of those AIG Women’s Open spots all so far from her on the back nine after going out in 30. Some good scores. You can see Charlie Har and Megan Kang both round in 68 today. So they’ve moved nicely up the leaderboard. Yuborn for Birdie on seven. Going to move from left to right. Bit of a pull there. She’s hit a fairway wood into seven. You think, oh, done the hard work. Didn’t even hit the hole there from 3 and 1/2 ft. Back to Leona Maguire on six. 145 yds. Don’t be long. It’s been a poor start to the day for the Irish woman. Now back in a share of 25th place. Koju Kim second to the par five. Good shot in there. That’s actually her third shot in. Either that or she’s hit it about 350 yards down the middle. Is not that long. She doesn’t often go for a par five in two ever. No. remember at the Chevro championship where where she was in that playoff for the 18th, she laid up every time there as well. So this is back at the fourth where you’d say outside chances. Although given what Nana did at last, you never know. There’ll be a few people in Scotland thinking Nana whose grandma is she? Uh There’s a little ridge that Nana needs to have a little look at here. Going to try and navigate that. It’s going to be slow. Yeah. Madson who started out on the ladies Europe tour. In fact, she played in this event here at Dundon Links when it was an LEON event back in 2015 and 2016. Finished top 20 on both occasions. She’s played here as an amateur as well. Her dad said to her like, “This is the course that you know the best.” And if you look at her major record, she’s had a couple of top 10s in the AIG Women’s Open. So, Lynx Golf is very much on her radar. Thought after what she did the last hole, she might chip this, but putter out for Nana Madson. Got to take this up the right hand side and it’s slow. needs to hustle. Looks like Ly Road is going to chip it. Yeah, saw seen her do this quite a lot over the last two rounds, opting to chip when she’s just been off the green. What a fantastic short game and it just shows how confident she is with her wedge play in her short game. Taking the slope out of play here. Going to pitch it up and over it. Yeah, Nelly called her the same really, isn’t she? Yeah, it just it just shows how confident they are with their short game. That’s exactly why. Yeah, there’ll be some people tuning in today that maybe didn’t see Evan, didn’t see the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, thinking, you know, what’s the fuss all about? What is the fuss all about then, Sophie? I mean, what are her strengths? Any weaknesses? No, that that is the honest answer as I can get. She’s as long as Nelly Cer off the tea, seven eye and 160 chips and putts for fun. Weakness is she works too hard. Huju Kim for a third birdie of the day gets to 11 under par. Yeah, Hoju was uh struggling with a bit of a back injury. Had to withdraw at the KPMG Women’s PGA, but back to full fitness. She has won on both tours this season. Having a really good year. Bit of work left in this one for Madson. I don’t think we can quite understand how slow that first put was for her, especially in that middle part. The line was okay. I’m going to keep this one down the right edge here. From this distance, she was excellent yesterday. Six from 12 puts hold. Not today. So she gives one back after the eagle at the last which means Lotty W alone again at the top of the leaderboard. So a three-way tie now for second. She can get a little hot under the collar. Can Nana go to your happy place. Georgia Hall shown the ninth hole. This is her second shot down off the left. Nicely done there. Just dropped a shot at eight. So back to five under now for the former Women’s Open champion. Leona Magguire’s had a tough start to her day. Two bogeies in the first five. This for Birdie. She’s going to come out short and laughed. She might not be chatting to our Gabby Partington before she goes out to play again. I think she heard her talking to those fans who said you come to watch. They said Nelly, they said, never said Leona, did they? Cassing Cora pouring one in there on 10. gets herself to seven under par. Three birdies all pass today for the Aussie. Onto the par five fifth has also birdied this hole two days in a row. The winds into off the right looking to find one down the center of the fairway. How’s your Danish? How’s yours? Not so good here with a caddy Oscar Revent Murette changed things up a lot the last couple of years. Nana used to rely very much on her boyfriend Caddy coach manager Nikki. They split up and uh there has been a lot of changes but Nana thinks for the better. That strong left hand grip and then look at this follow through. Oh, quite get it, but the signal’s good. It’s down the left hand side. No problem. It’s a hard hole to picture off the tea because there’s the set of pine trees that you need to aim at and it’s slightly blind over a brow hill and maybe that was the decision that they were making there. Just down the fairway. Oh, from a divot. Say, young Kim, is it worth getting the sand in the eyes for? Nothing’s worth getting the sand in your eyes for, is it really? But it’s unfortunate. Just right in that layup point. Kyoju Kim 145 y down wind today. Oh, I love that golf swing. Oh, what a beauty. She’ll love the result. Well, she has made a red hot start. Yo, you Kib. Well, nearly got it on this green on the first day. Not quite today. This pin on the fifth hole. 29 on 10 from the left. Looking to catch the slope. got it now. Well, there was a chance that Nelly Corder might be called at the top of the world rankings at the Evian Championship. If Gino Titakin had have won, she would have usurped the American as number one. as it is. Nelly has been there for well 70 weeks in a row from the top 10 this week. Maya Stark missed the cup but as we can see Nelly Ceru Kim right in there aren’t they? So chance maybe for Mi to also climb up a few spaces as well. made a nice start to the third round, although she’s given a few shots back since. Paul Larito down the right hand side of 14. She’s six under par for the day. I looked okay. Well played. Well, it’s got a lot to go to seven. would have thought, “Oh no, have I blown this round.” She was level par for a back nine, but can sort that one out there. Looking to bounce back after the drop shot at eight, Georgia Hall. She knew, didn’t she? Straight off the face that that was angled down the right, but it’s nice to see the shadows out. The sun is shining. I think it’s fair to say, Amy, though, the wind’s picked up maybe since the leaders have gone out. Yeah, wind direction. Say it’s a westerly wind. It’s only about 15 mph at the moment, but it is looking to pick up, especially as we get later on in the day. See this flag blowing on number eight. More wind than yesterday afternoon, but warmer. Sean Kim up the hill to get to minus 11. And it goes making a move. four and a half years since her last LPGA Tour title. It’s all about the putting for her, isn’t it? If that gets hot, I saw her followed her in China when she came second last year and the reason that she did come second was it just those type of pots just always dropping. Well, as you say, this would be an unlikely birdie given where she was in three. Pick it out of the hole. Putting beautifully for the moving through the gears today. First birdie of the back nine. And I think that highlights your point about the wind getting up. I think it would have turned up in breeze at that turn because then you go 11, 12, 13 back into the wind and that’s exactly when the lights of corder were teeing off. Well, Nelly Corder on the par five moving from left to right. Another birdie opportunity missed. Well, she was pleased yesterday. She birded all the par fives today. She’s played two of them. Walked off with fives. Reigns 11 under. That’ll test you as well. You know, she hit the par five third in two. Three puts. She only had a wedge in her hand there. Walks off with a part. Lotty W can’t reach this fifth hole in two. It’s to win today. going to set her up nicely for a wedge in. Can Nana Madson get there or is it out of her reach as well? She is one of the bigger hitters. She didn’t strike the T-shot very well. She got it a bit healy down this left hand side. It does mean that she’s got the shortcut because it’s a right to left hole, but it’s a blind second shot. So, cutting the corner. The main issue here is there’s a the smallest of pot bunkers which is 50 yard short of the green on this left hand side that needs to be missed and then hope for a bounce from this angle. The wind will be more into from the right but let’s see if Nana can do this. Just like the shot into the fourth leaped out down that right hand side. Laughy W had company with Nana Madson for a short while. This for Shoju Kim to join her. What a start to day three. Four birdies through six holes. Just showing all the opportunities that are out there today. There you go. Lotty W joined now by the world number 10 at 12 under par. Three players on 11 under. So it’s really tied at the top. Paulito with that birdie at 14. Back to seven under par for the day. In between clubs here. It’s a 135 shot which would be a nine iron. Well, she air on the side of caution. Hit wedge and be short. Oh, went for the nine. Sit. A year ago, Sophie Nelly Cer was seemingly winning on a weekly basis. What’s been the difference this year? Why is she not being in the winner circle? Statistically, there is no reason. Um, I would say everyone else is getting slightly better. She’s still putting herself into contention. She’s not missed a cut. US Open I think would have hurt her. Coming up shy of my stark stop. Yeah, her scoring average this season at the same stage is actually better than last year. And there and also, you know, she doesn’t play as much. She’s only her 12th start. But you, like you’ve been saying all week, there’s so been so many different winners. So you got that one person that’s really hot that week that wins. So then it’s hard to So that week Nelly cord his stroke average of 69 point whatever I’m sure it is isn’t quite good enough for that week and then they move on to a next week and someone else has that stroke average whereas last year we were seeing Hannah Greenwood multiple times Nelly Cer it’s just not been that this year and then along comes Ly. Yeah they’re always coming and that’s what they talk about. I mean, Mi was saying how she was getting old the other day. Only got 5 years left, maybe. Well, Nelly said it and she felt like a grandma Adam saw. She’s 26. 74 yds for Lotty. Pin sits on a shelf here. Can pitch it the whole way there into the breeze. straight over the pin that give herself a good look. It’s hard not to get over excited if you like from a British women’s golf perspective when Lotty Road’s doing what she’s doing right now. It’s It’s not It’s very easy. I’m excited. You know, I’ve been an England selector for a decade and have seen some players come through like Bronty Law and Charlie Hall. Carly Hall and now we’re seeing Lotty and we thought she was going to be a great golfer and then she won at Augusta National and the way she won that Anoir was box office and the guts and the class the composure that she has. She’s got everything. You know, it was the only concern I ever have is when they turn pro because you just never quite know. You just hope everything’s the same. I think the fact that she’s playing Lynx golf as a pro for these next two weeks will settle her in and then obviously she goes out to America, but she was at university in Florida, so it’s not like she doesn’t know American golf. Yeah. I was speaking to her setup today and they were saying, you know, she’s still got a flat in Florida. So, she’s got a base already in the United States that the rent’s paid for next year cuz she’s supposed to be at university. She’s got the practice facility she can still use at Florida State as well. So the setup’s all there for her when she goes to America, but she won’t be traveling with a team. That’s the difference. Yeah. Nana Madson in the right semi- rough only 50 yards. Not bad there. It’s going to come back using that back slope. Getting closer and closer. There we go. It’s over at the path 36. Let’s tickle this one down the left hand side. Good, bro. Well, it had the line. Back with the defending champion. Eight straight pars it’s been to start day three. front pin here. Got that one to stop pin high. This hole’s great for your driving distance. It’s downwind downhill. It’s put me down for 270 to 300 y. She’s a player who’s had a few ups and downs. Nana Matson over the last few years when she won in Thailand nearly won the week after as well. She was in the top 20 of the world. Last year she slipped out of the top 100 and it it seems surprised to say she’s a soul home cup player but she actually starts the week on the world rankings 10 places lower at 72 than Lotty W 62 who’s playing as a professional for the first time this week. It’s the major record. There’s only been two top 10s. There’s been so many mis cuts for her. This one came back down the slope. She still left herself with a a good cup from right to left. This to join the leaders. What an eventful start for Nana Madson. She does get to 12 under. Although Lottiwo does have a good birdie look herself to come. Back to the sixth with Nelly Corder. He’s going to move from left to right early. Well, no birdie finer. Remember yesterday opened up with four straight pars before coming to a par five on the other side of the golf course. the 14th hole. And it started a birdie run ly world. Not much break in this part. And that to get outright lead first birdie of the day. She moves to minus 12. Oh yeah. 13 under now for Liy W. Smile on her face. The birdies have arrived. Can I say another strength? Her put in. When it needs to be firm, it is. When it needs to be poured in, it is. Pace. So she hits it a long way. Her wedge game’s good as it shows you Kim’s by the way. She can chip and pop well and mentally fairly strong. Yeah. Yeah. Works hard. Bottle it up. Bottle it up. It’s a potent mix, which is why even on her professional debut, she is leading some of the world’s best players at the top of the leaderboard at this ISBS hander women’s Scottish Open. Birdie number one of the day for Lotty Wo taking ahead of Hu Kim and Nana Madson. Needy Corder a stroke further behind. Julia Lopez Ramirez is another of the players who is not yet in the AIG Women’s Open. She’s played it the last two years as an amateur. Made the cut on both occasions. There she is. Five under for the day. No drop shots on the car for the Spaniard. Start of the back nine for Georgia Hall. Second shot in to 10. pin 23 on six from the right hand side from this side slope trying to work the ball in. Great shot there. Signs are good. So many of these players have said, “Oh, I haven’t played in Wales before.” But Georgia Hall, that’s where she won a amateur down. You’ll probably be able to say it better than me, Amy. McKinnis Peninsula. Menace. There we go. Very good. We’ve got to stop that next week. What’s that? We can’t be doing those in the faux Welsh accent. Yeah, it’s not very good either. And it’s all pass for Lauren Coglin looks at that putter that’s just not behaving itself for her right now. Yeah, I apologize to our Welsh viewers. Lotty World on the par three. 145 yds plays down wind today. Going to try and grip a nine in. Want to work this in from right to left. Use the slope. Fantastic. She’s good. Just a bit. You think about all the money she could have won for the last few weeks. She’s given up by being an amateur before this week about half a million dollars. Don’t worry, that’s a train on the way. That’s the green left on 15. If you’re wondering what that alarm is, like the train to air or the train to Glasgow. One of the most beautiful trips down this west coast of Scotland. Well, Lotty W has set a mark up already here at six. Six yards long. Finishes you in a bunker at the back right of this green. Trust the wind. It is there at her back. here feels her game’s in a better place than she has been in her entire career. Works now with Tyler Ferrell. Now, I mentioned there’s three places up for grabs for the AIG Women’s Open for the best players on the leaderboard. There is a scrap going on. Julia Lopez Ramirez is amongst those in the spots right now. Hoju Kim this for Birdie. Had four so far today. This for the fifth one. Not quite got the pace there. Yeah. Won again, didn’t she on the Ladies European tour in Korea at New Korea Golf Club where the international crown will be in October. Bit of tidying up to do for Rita at 15. Oh, that’s the first bogey of the day for Rita. She was seven under par. This 15th hole. I mean, only half the field hits the green. And there’s a forward T- box, but often when they push a T- box forward, they make the pin location harder. So, it’s hanging off the back left. I won’t be the first to drop one here or the last. Well, turn that way. Still been a good day. That’s the perspective you got to get. She’s another one looking to try and avoid the Monday qualifier. It’s Kylin Penfik. Is that right, Amy? Kylin Kempik. That’s correct. That’s where pre-qualifying or final qualifying, should I say, sorry, uh will take place on Monday. I see uh Danielle Kang pre-qualified and she’s been playing Royal fourth call this week and she had a hole in one in one of her practice round. She did it 15th hole in one. How many 15th has after has Danielle K got her luggage yet? I’m getting concerned. It must be nearly two weeks. Well, she seems to be enjoying herself whatever’s going on. Great to see her come out early, try and qualify, pre-qualify, which is a major champion, and now is in that final qualifying on Monday. These players that we’re watching here don’t have to worry about that. Nana Madson going to put before Lotty W has her birdie opportunity here. But lucky not to come down that slope with the T-shot spun and stopped at the high side. This one is severely right to left. Got to have it dropping in on that clock face about 4:00. Match line and pace. came 10th at last year’s AIG Women’s Open at St. Andrews alongside this player Liy W who had some finish. She hauled out on 18. Did you? This is what I’m talking about. Say she held out on 18. Things happened to W. Talk about that finish at Augusta. just happened. Yeah. And then keeping everyone at arms length at Carton House a few weeks ago. Well, she’s left herself in the perfect position below the hole. Right edge part. Well, that’s the first part I think I’ve seen a lead short in two and a half days. So, remains in the lead by one. Just chering there to Dermit saying it was Cam Wind. I thought that might move more. Need to hit it as hard. Sean Kim, nicely done. You know, these are quality players that are tucked in behind Liy W right now. You know, Se Young Kim and Nelli Corder playing together. 27 LPGA Tour wins between them. Cats three over par for a round today. Okay. Gets it back to five under. He’s had two sixes on the scorecard. Started the day with a birdie. One of those who didn’t stay on after Evian. Nelly Corder went to Prague. Visited some family. Kinami actually played an event on the Japan LPGA Tour. 116 for Corder. She is smash that through the That’s a poor shot. Misjudge of the wind maybe. Was a beautiful hole. The seventh. There is a bunker down there on the right side at 278. Going to want to play one from right to left. The wind is off the right today. I want to start this up the right hand side with a little bit of draw. 3 91 yds. like to see that ball fall to the left. Luke Bone the coach only gets a call really if it just falls starts seeing it from left to right. It’s not much he’s comfortable in looking at. I know it happens on the LPJ tour once. It’s a rarity though, isn’t it? playing two balls at the weekend on the ladies European tour. And the pace of play for these final this final two ball is scheduled at 3 hours and 50 minutes, which is swift. Nice firm bounce for Matson. Does it make any difference that it’s not three balls? I think for me, I always like playing three balls. I I think two balls sometimes it can feel a little bit too fast. It can be a little bit out of your rhythm. Um unless I’m out early in the morning and I’m thinking I can make a bit of a move. Um and they’re going to go back to three balls tomorrow. Two balls makes a difference in Scotland cuz that first tea time at 7 a.m. there’s no wind and then you tee off at at 1:00 like these lot are and you get the win. So conditions certainly change in two balls where three balls you would be more compact, wouldn’t you? You’d be closer together between first and last out. Well, unfortunately no restbite in what’s been a poor third day so far from Leona Maguire. Sean Kim this for her birdie. Two under for her round today as a player whose put in actually gets better over the weekend statistically. Well, best round from the leaders has come from Shouju Kim. Here she is at eight. Lovely sound to that, wasn’t there? It’s relentless in her fairways and greens. Steady Eddie. She knows she can go low. Shot a 61 and a major when she won 11 years ago at Evianne. Well, Nelly Corder went over the back of the green on seven. So this is now for par. Good save. Big save. You would not want to be dropping a shot from 120 yards out there. No, that putter has been working well for her the last few weeks, even though she was way down there in Ebie and she did put very well there, too. Second best at putting at Ebby, and it was the driver that she just couldn’t hit a fairway with. And she seems to have settled very much on the mallet style now. I like the left hand below right takes the wrists out of it. Gets those shoulders a lot more square. Curry Davidson finishing with a round of 66. So 65 remains the low round of the week. Wow yesterday being matched today by Choy. He looks settled for the day in there, doesn’t he? Why would you not get yourself out here now? Sunglasses are on. Pleasant conditions. Eighth hole, par 4, 382 yds. Wind into from the left hand side, which brings those bunkers on the right into play. The only one that’s in play for us is going to be that left one. Yeah. The right ones are not in play at all. You want to finish on that same thing. You want to finish on the the white roof. Left to right only. Cer plays a different game. Heard Jason Mcde saying we’re not worrying about those bunkers on the right. That bunker on the left. Yeah. 266 yds that left bunker. Wind’s off the left. So going to want to start it just at it and let the wind take it away. Just played this whole well for the first two rounds. Birded it both days. played one of the hardest holes on the course on the first round. Oh, good layup. Yeah, Lotty World. This is her second into the seven. And there’s 18 on eight from the right. You can go straight out this pin. You know, you talked about Sean Kim and her caddy Paul Fusco saying, you know, play chef like in a way does play chef like in the way she always just seems to be whole high. There’s never too much trouble. If there’s a tough pin, you play away from it. all those big pass saving parts when she needs to. I think she just plays really professional golf considering this is her pro debut. She just misses it on the right side. She hits fairway, she hits greens. There’s just no real weakness in her game. And if you’re her caddy, her new caddy, you’re almost just walking around kind of just asking her a few questions. You’re not caddying for her. you’re learning about her and offering the odd bit of advice maybe on strategy whereas these two look like they’re in discussion. The decisions are shared at the moment. Over the last few holes, Madson’s been struggling with start lines. She’s been too far right on a par three. She’s turned it off turned it off the tea. So, she needs to start getting that that first 20 yards of flight where she wants to start that golf ball win from right to left. This is a wedge probably taking it out that Marshall behind the pin. Plenty of action on that one. I dropped a shot at the last RTO just off the green here in two at 16 and struggling to save power again. Wow. First green she missed was 15. Then she’s gone and thrown one in back to back on that 16th hole. Whereas every hole it’s been a birdie putt for the 29year-old Korean Hoju Kim. Well, this to get to the top of the leaderboard alongside Lotty W. Fantastic. So, Koju Kim, five birdies in eight holes, looking to add to the LPJ tour victory she had in Arizona at the end of March at the four championship. Comes over at Whirlwind Golf Club. struggled with that putter last year, Hyoju Kim. I think that’s been a a big reason for the improvements in 2025. Here’s a a new Korean on the LPJ tour this year in Aune. Started working with Colin K, that caddy that you just saw coming out of vision there at the US Open this year when she came tied for 14th. So good start with this pair together is this for par here on the eighth hole. Yeah, already had a couple of bogeies on the card today. Been a nervy start. So two over for the day playing in Scotland for the first time. That’s something that they were talking about on the driving range just looking at hitting the ball lower because she hits the golf ball so high. But look, for 50 weeks of the year, that’s what you need. Playing out on that LPGA tour. Big hitting Spaniard. No Pier Ramirez tickling one down here at 16. I love this about the Scottish Open when we’re looking at people trying to find their way into the major. The best feeling when you pick up one of those spots. Back to the seventh green with Nana Madson up the hill. It’s got a bit of break from right to left. She’s going to finish off here the day. Whatever you’re seeing is going to be cooked up. So Matson remains one back of the co-leaders. Seo Kim just needs to negotiate this crosswind from left to right. Try and leave yourself right of the pin. Exit to cut. Oh, it’s going to catch the slope. Goodbye. See what she was trying to do there. Just held on to the club face through impact. But in Ireland over the weekend, they couldn’t get near her. not wed whereas so far at the start of this third round there’s been some movements towards her looking for the response with another birdie here though to take the individual lead again yeah only dead center with that on the TV. Glad to see you support. And the biggest compliment you can give her is she makes it look so easy. Unbelievable. She’s a confident putter. I think that’s what I like so much about her. I think, you know, even if she’s not scared of knocking one, you know, 3 4 feet past because it she thinks they’re going to go in and they do. 120 left in for Corder. And there’s part of you that as an old pro I suppose that wants to say she’ll learn, but she looks like she does. I know. Paulo to avoid another drop. Very very good there because that could have put the brakes on a great round of golf going back to back bogeies. Well, it’s been a fascinating start to day three on the west coast of Scotland. She’s been caught a couple of times by first Nana Madson and then Hoju Kim, but Lotty W the English phenom back out in front of on her own 14 under par right now. Well, it’s a lovely day to spend uh on the beach here by the F of Clyde. Not too worried though, focusing on events ahead. This is the eighth T. Plays the third hardest hole on the golf course. Dog leg from left to right with a cross left to right wind. fear me. 386 y looking to send one up the left side. Winds off the left. Aiming at that left bunker at 266 yds. Playing one down from left to right. Lost it. Right. Well, the score suggests that it’s not a struggle for Nana Madson, but the follow through suggests that she is saving golf shots out there at the moment. That one down the left hand uh the right hand side in the semi. It’s absolutely fine, but she does look worried in that follow through. A long way below the surface of the green here. That was such a difficult shot from down there on the left side of a shortsided. That’s what Seong says. She says, “I do struggle with the firmness of the greens at Lynx Golf. Defending champion for birdie up and across the green.” Yeah. And it’s interesting in some respect that 15 under par she won last year, Lauren Coglin. was 15 under par the winning score the year before with Selen Boutier and W’s already at 14 under. Yeah, we’ve had some shocking weather though last few years. Yes, caugh up almost. Yeah, 21 under par is the record score around here when a Yaka foodway won. I don’t think it’s going to be that far off that soft conditions and one club wind out there to get to five. It’s on the 10th hole. Bingo. First birdie of the day for the American Soul Cup player to where she started the day is for par for Sean Kim. Oh, the second shot cost her there. Missing the green. Not getting up and down. That’s her first bogey of the day. She’ll fall back to 10 under. Koju Kim. Five under for her round so far today. Just hit the down slope. That’s going to release to the back of the green. It needs to stop. Oh, we’re going to see another Lynx golf shot from the back of nine. I’ll tell you what though, what is it about midnight coming up to that around that in Korea right now? The shooting stars, her fan club, and there are thousands of them will be getting very excited watching Kio Jim start juice start the way she has today. Whereas for the nearly quarter fans, it’s coffee golf this morning. They’ll be wanting their girls to make a couple more birdies as will she. Three back. We’ll start the day with a two shot lead. That has been reduced to one for Lottiwo, but a very healthy start. Couple of birdies, no drop shots, just one bogey so far this week. When she won in Ireland a few weeks ago, there was only three bogeies through the se through the 72 holes. Now, here’s the top 10. Nice little mix. You can see the Australian rookie on the LPG to Casey Porter going along well. Miu Yamashita was going even better, but threw in a double bogey over at 13 in her round of 67. Good size to see Charlie Hal finished with a birdie at the last for that round of 68 after what happened to her at Evian getting stronger by the day. Aracha Yubon slipping down the leaderboard as has Leona Maguire. both having poor third rounds so far. 69 from Darcy Harry, one of the players who’s won this season on the ladies European tour and he’ll be playing at her home course next week at Raw fourth call. Yeah, she’ll be very excited to have a home crowd watching her first major championship and it’s at your home club. How amazing is that? W this green’s elevated. You cannot miss it left. Oh yeah. And again and again and again. It’s tough. It’s such a tough shot into a It’s a crosswind. You can’t miss it left. It’s a tough shot unless your name is Lotty W. Her grandma Marian was in the clubhouse yesterday. I’m sure she’s there watching today. The lucky charm. No, she’s coming tomorrow. They’re not They’re not here. She’ll be watching at home. Yeah. And also, I have to give a mention because I didn’t do it last time. Her other grandparents, David and Rita, are in front of the TV right now, smiling from ear to ear. There lot’s at it again. Nearly caught it. Thank you. Just down the right side of nine. Yeah. The whole family are coming tomorrow. Aunt’s here cuz she’s got family in Scotland. Her grandma’s lived here for 20 odd years. So there’s kind of some Scottish links for Lotty W. You’re not claiming her. She’s ours. She’s all of ours, Sophie. Come on. This wind is gusting at Nana Madson’s back here. It’s from left to right. flag 14 on at 12 from the left. But you know, you can’t go left of it and catch the slope and miss the green. But you kind of want to start it left of it because that’s where the wind direction is. You’ve got to try and hit this one at the pin and draw it into that left to right wind. Finish it right at the flag. Superb goal shot there by Nana Madson. controlled. They’re getting treated to some golf today. You would call them kind Lynx conditions. No rain, some wind, but by link standards a wee breeze. Another one left for Sean Kim. And and a generosity off the tea. You find that in a new style links golf course that shot next week at Royal Pole. That’s in a bunker. Ku Kim the green over the back on nine. It’s a fast chip. Is it going to keep releasing down? Not quite. I’d love to get a camera down there low just to have seen how much of an ups slope Hoju had to come over there. Well, she started the day up Yubon as the leader for those women’s open spots, but she has had a costly day. Three bogeies in the last four holes. That was much needed. Player who’s won in Scotland, one on the Access series in Masubra. Well, she’s five under for a round today. Just to save par and that is going to miss left. First drop shot, especially on this ninth hole. The fewest bogeies of the week have come on this downwind par four. Yeah, easiest hole on the course ranked for the last two days. So that means the lead is now two again for Liy W. Always wonderful to come to the homeland of golf. We’re in a part of the world here, the west coast of Scotland where it’s uh right by Raw True, Preswick, Western Gales, many many more lovely courses within a 15-minute drive. Confirmation of that two-shot lead again for Lotty W. She’s got another birdie look, a really good one coming up here at this eighth hole. I always found this eighth hole location quite a hard read because there’s not a lot of movement in it. You can see it’s coming over a a small speed bump. That’s maybe what Nana’s saying right there. Looking down the left edge. Yesterday she was dynamite from 10 to 20 ft. hold six out of 12 putts from this distance. He’s yet to make one of this length today. And she knows that Lott’s not going to come back at her. So she needs to keep a pace. She went with her instincts and got the reward. 13 under par for Nana Madson. As you said, she’s not really been fully at it, but three under parath through eight, it’s a good sign. As you’ve been saying about how good she’s been from Ter Green this year, and the improvement, she’s now inside the top 30 in that stat, Ter Green strokes gained, and she was outside the top 100 two years ago. She’s really improved. So, the lead is back to one. that leaderboard and it’s a little bit out of date behind there. Hojuk Kim we know moved to 12 under. Oh they can’t move the scoreboard when they’re putting Richard quite please much in this one. I don’t think there is little bit downhill. I think this is if anything maybe inside left. As Sophie said, it’s one of the flatter pin locations. Grabs the right edge. Three birdies in four holes. Normal service resumes at the top of the leaderboard. Lots of birdies today for W. Patience to begin with. Isn’t that what dad calls her? Lots. Lots. Yeah. Lots of winds maybe coming up. Sean Kim in the left rough trying to bounce one in. Good shot there. She had a good angle into that pin. Well, we’ve just seen Hojun Kim come through the back from there. So, the landing mark into that up slope. Perfect. Well, she’s been struggling to par the last couple of holes, but a birdie look coming up for Paulito. Nelly Cer coming up the right side of nine. Need to pitch this over the down slope downwind. It’s so hard to get it to stop. Just releasing up to the back of the green there. You’ve got to hit nine fairway in order to get some purchase on that pitch shot. Same could be said here for 17. It’s so downwind now on this front pin. I mean, she’s nearly got to the green there. Lopez Ramirez. They push this T- box forward on 17. It’s now only 357 yds, which makes it 340 to the front. So, you can swipe it straight over the corner there. But with it being downwind, they’ve got to really nip a chip shot. Well, number nine’s ranked the easiest hole on the course for the first two rounds. 379 yds down breeze front pin. Need to find the fairway. I mean, I don’t want to bang on about it really, but when you bear in mind, she was 21 under par in Ireland. That’s just going to run off the left side. She was 13 under in Evian. She’s now 14 under here. That’s 49 under par for two tournaments and two and a half rounds. Oh, it’s a stroke average of like 67. Richard, I’ve already been looking at it. 67.4. Yeah. Yeah. Justin Ray, thank you very much. She has shot under par in every round in that stretch here in Ireland. Eviana now in Scotland. Hurry. Oh, yeah. 67.4 the scoring average. out. We’re not saying she can maintain that, but to win the VAR trophy, you’re looking something 69 something, aren’t you? Which is VA trophies for the lowest scoring average on the LPGA Tour for the year. Any quarter at the moment, 69.7 for example. Hit it nearly. It’s a blind T-shot this ninth hole. There’s a paper mill in the distance which is your line firing across those spectacle bunkers. They are not in play. You’ll wave at it. It flies over them. They’re 211 carry. Looking like less than driver here for Nanamat. Doesn’t want to get this one too close. It’s downwind. Well, another one leaked. Can she get away with it again? Maybe. Well, it’s not in any trouble. It’s just going to be hard to access that front pin down wind coming out of the rough. They’re going to have a good look at that second shot from there. Good seats. Sean Kim. Very good after the bogey on eight. takes it back to 11 under. So at the moment there’s a little bit of separation between the top five and the rest. Sean came moving to 11 under and Paulito their closest challenger although Paul’s only got one hole left a play of the day. It’s only day three. But you look at that quality in the top five and even at this stage you’d be surprised if the winner didn’t come from there. I mean there are six shots between Liy W in first and Paulita in sixth. I was commenting on how big a drive Lopez Ramirez had hit. Unfortunately, that wasn’t where her T-shot finished. And she holds a good one for a bogey five. Got a Scottish caddy on the back. Okay, you she has Lauren White local to this area. She’d been over in the US in a college and then became a college coach. Sarah Schmemellzel on 12. One bogey, one birdie so far for her day today. after the drop shot over at nine. Out in 32 for Shoju Kim. Can use the back stop here on 10. Take it long. Spin it back. Didn’t like that one. Missed strike. It’s been a tough day so far. Need something to happen fast. Leona Maguire and it’s not going to come here at 11 without a birdie on the card. Yeah, three over so far for her round. Drops back. She’s at three and a par for the tournament. moving in the wrong direction. Well, it’s a lovely spot in the town of Trude just across the water there. F of Clyde on the west coast of Scotland. Good day for flying the kites. Good day for messing around on the FTH itself. A lovely day for playing at Donald Links. One down the right, one down the left. This is at the par for ninth. Can you just move it over? Thank you. Guys, stand still, please. Well, the pins nine on, 10 from the left. It’s an awkward angle to come in from on this right side, especially out of the rough. It’s going to be difficult to stop this one downwind. There is a back slope behind the pin. Nana does generate a lot of backspin on her strikes. She is a powerful hitter and will need it right now. She’s not a quick player though, is she? She’s indecisive, isn’t she? She really is. I mean, they discussed it. She was happy with it. The thing about this? Then she stepped away, said something. Then they stubbing foot. They’re questioning the landing spot because the front edge, will it skip on and run through the back? We’ve seen that. Or do you choose to take it all the way at the pin? This front flag, it’s so downwind as well. See it just hit that down slope. Steady. And that is going to Oh, just stops. Big difference. I believe she thinks that she’s gone long there. But she was in between the landing spot, wasn’t she? She didn’t get that right. What about where Lotty’s coming from? Is that easier to hold it from? If you took it left of this pin, you’ve got you’ve got room. You can hit into the up slope there. So, as she finishes this 15 yards left of it, she can hold the pin. If you’re going at it, you bring in the down slope more into play once again. Hole high does remind me of a certain someone who was doing that sort of thing at Port Rush last week. the right lean, but this wind from right to left will push it back down the middle of the fairway there for Seong Kim. Hoju Kim up the hill. Just stays on the right side. Four under for a round today. Five birdies, one bogey. Good shot into 12 by Sirish Mazel. Fails to convert. One of those that like quite a few of the players staying in one of the lodges here at Dundel Lynx. Threewood round the corner for Nelly. Needs to hang on his dog leg from right to left. It’s in the thicker stuff. Just the one under today. Nelly Cer not pushing in on quite like she’d like and could say the same about inner Yun who’s been struggling out there. Three bogeies on the card. Yeah, this for birdie that lips out. One of those days you see everybody around you shooting low numbers. You’re looking at the leaderboards and there you are missing pots. It’s back at the final hole of the front nine right by the clubhouse. Practice putting area the other side of that big bush where you can see the fans. driving range beyond. Well, this puts downhill, but it’s back into the breeze. It’s going to move early left to right. Come back a bit at the end. It’s all about pace. Good effort. Spot on. Last thing you wanted to do was leave that halfway at the top of the slope and have another downhill into windput to come. Well, making her professional debut. You uh may have wondered, well, how will Lotty W respond to taking the lead into the weekend? Every question that has been asked of her though in the last few weeks and prior as the world number one amateur, it’s always been emphatically answered in a positive manner. More of the same so far today, this to stretch the lead to three shots. It’s coming from Lotty’s left hand side here. Shouldn’t need to worry about the pace. It’s downhill. Look at the movement. Right. Good. But you’d say an excellent front nine. Three birdies, no bogeies, and a close one there on the ninth hole. Coach Luke Bone taught her since the age of seven, I believe, says that she’s got a hunger to be the best. She’s creative in her development, always asking questions, keen to learn. The ideal student, Nelly from the rough down 10. But what’s also so impressive is, you know, she played the first two days with Charlie Hull and that lady there, Nelly Corder. No sign of any intimidation whatsoever. I know you say she reminds you of Sheffler, which from an English point of view, she reminds me of Justin Rose. That’s who she looks up to a lot actually is Justin Rose. They they share the same management and she has got that that ease about her. and she’ll admit that, you know, Charlie’s one of my idols. She’d be way more nervous playing with a lead United footballer out there. It’s funny actually. Justin Rose, we watched Nana first of all tidy up here. Well done. Good front line from her as well out in 33. Same as Lotty W. Yeah. Justin Rose was on social media and congratulated Lotty in her first round. Said she shot a 67. He said his first professional round he was 12 shots worse off. Yeah, he didn’t have a great start to his professional career. Bless him, did he? 21 miscuts in a row. He’s been all right since. He’s done all right. That’s a super effort from Sean Kim. Setting that up for Birdie. She found the middle of the fairway off the tea and how worlds kind of changed. The first time you saw Lotty W was at a Spanish event on the ladies European tour. That’s because she was first reserve for Marian Curtis Cup and that’s where Justin won this US Open. Third shot into the last for RTO. Come on, let’s finish this round. Oh, settle. Yeah, that was her first ever professional event, that event in Spain. She’s now played, including this week, 11 professional events. It’s the first as a pro, though. Smoothing an eight iron into 11. Misses the slope. Two yards left and that comes down. Well, the first Don Donald Lynx layout was uh back in 1883. Opened up here in 1911. It was at its time one of the longest golf courses around and then couple of world wars saw the site almost unrecognizable and it’s been redeveloped in the last 20 years really. Carl Phillips who also designed Kings Barnes for his handiwork to Dundal links here and the facilities for the players. The gym is off the charts. Short game area. Well, the lodges you can go outside and you got practice putting greens, haven’t you? In between all the lodges. I’d be knocking on everyone’s door seeing what LPGA or le players coming out. Third into 18. It’s well protected by that spine that sits across it and Julia has stuck it in there. Thank you. Well, this 10th hole 375 yds winds off the right today. There’s a bunker down there on the right that shouldn’t really be in play. Fairway Wood for Lotty Road. dog legs a little from right to left. So I want to send this up down the right with a bit of draw. Yeah, another flag now after that T-shot that she’ll be able to attack. Nelly couldn’t do so. She was in that left rough. Short game has been money this week. Tap that one in for a part. Great creativity that she’s had around these Scottish links. This is her Women’s Scottish Open debut. Back on the 10th T now. Won’t be able to see this ball finish. There’s some dunes down the left hand side which Matson needs to take it over. She is struggling for left. Just saw her hit a push T-shot into the fourth and the follow through looks saved and since then she’s struggled to finish a follow through. She’s start line is all over the place here for Nana Madson. So young Kim right to left for Birdie on number 10. Y that’s 12 under. She’s so old school in her putting, isn’t she? She’s got the the thin pencil grip and then the toe of the answer putter sits high. Final hole for Paulito. What a fabulous day it’s been. Maybe not quite the back nine that she was looking for, but when you go out in 30, foundation for an excellent round is done. Yeah, she is one of them players looking to get one of them spots for the open next week. Yeah, she’s in pole position right now at nine under. Hitting a provisional. I’m sure she will find it. But as I said, you can’t see down this left hand side of 10. Why is it always better on the second serve? Kyoju Kim right to left on the 11 coming up just a little bit short playing well this season had a win earlier in March. Yeah, one. It’s a co-sanction event. She’s one of those who’s won on both tours this year, isn’t she? Put for a four just led to the left of that spine that sits through this 18th hole. Power five to finish here at Dun Donald Lynx. 124 yds the par three the 11th into off the right. That’s straight at it. Well, this is a player who’s been as high as second in the world that’s been player of the year, rookie of the year. She’s won everything really in the ladies game. 60 eight for Julia Lopez Ramirez got there in the end. Spaniard another one looking to tear it up at the women’s open next week having to play for her place here in Scotland. 11 se box into the win 124 yds playing 140. Oh, Nellie’s got the lefts. Seen that creeping in throughout the round for Corder. Missed it off the T left on the last hole with her T-shot done. The same there. You’ll be seeing some short game magic from We’re going to have to see it big time down there. Excellent 66 from Paulita. All smiles in this too. Have a good day tomorrow. You too. Thank you. Thank you. See you. That fourth call. Maybe. Maybe. Well, one more day. Yeah. Oh, you’d love to scrub your name out of that final qualifying entry and just go straight to roll call and get your accreditation. Yeah, every reason to smile there for the South Africans. So, they’re done for the day. Couple of really good rounds. Now I’m assuming Nana has found the first ball. She has a crosswinds. Amy, it it can do stuff to you with what we keep talking about start lines. Yeah. And and you start to if you start to lose it a little bit with your swing, it’s then so difficult to get it back. You feel like you’re fighting the wind all the time when you’ve got it coming off your back and then off over your shoulder. It can be really difficult to try and find something. She might be struggling to get this one out. I would say she’s got the best part of a 130 yards to the front edge here. And that rough is heavy. Got to be really careful not to turn this one over. Keep strong through the ball here. Do not let that club face flip. That is strength. Golf shot. Unbelievable strength there by Nana Madson. Let’s get it to pin high. It’s almost like that’s the type of follow through she needs to start putting into her shots off the fairway and see just how well she held that face through impact and after. Pin position is 23 on six right here on 10. It’s very similar to round one where we saw so many birdies. It’s a nice pin. And another shot. Oh, she’s found their distance this week. That number is what Lotty W has been thriving on. From 125 to 150 yards, she’s about 20 ft. What a feeling that must be now. Netty Corder. Tricky one. Great contact. Oh, that is delicious. Get in. We’ve seen her do that for the last two and a half days, haven’t we? A short game has been unbelievable. Yeah, it’s been a bit of a clinic. Koju Kim 92 yds front pin steady hangs on to that right side from one Kim to another. Huju to Seang. Oh my, that was close. I learned this from when we were in Korea. Apparently the the name Kim is very common in Korea. Apparently about 20% of the people in Korea have that surname. That is interesting. 20% apparent. I mean, listen, I’m not in charge of the figures. I mean, I can just about work out the golfing figures, but that’s a lot of Kim and you see quite a few of that name on the leaderboard on the uh LPGA ladies European tours. Means metal or gold. I’d go for gold. Well, she Sophie gold, please call me that from now on. Well, the Kim here are certainly going for gold, aren’t they? First prize of $300,000. Lotty W can win it this time as a pro this week. She’s already lost out on about half a million dollars over the last few years for playing as an amateur in professional events. Last few weeks. Oh, was it only the last few? Well, what about the tenth at the A last year? Well, then add to it. All right. Pounds. I don’t know. Madson found the green after a loose T-shot. Just going to have a good look here. It’s left to right up the hill. It was a good effort. Yeah, good for given the T-shot. So Manson remains at 13 under former ladies European Tour player Sophie Walker and Amy Balden in the box alongside myself Richard Kaufman. This is the 12T out towards the fth of Clyde. Sean Kim straight back into the wind. There’s a grass mound on the right hand side that needs to be missed safely down the left. Well, she missed the chance at nine. Not by much, but an opportunity spurn nonetheless. Get the feeling this one might get the punishment it deserves. Well, nine was a heavily breaking left to right put. This is more of a slight left to right back up the hill into the wind. Just setting that grip and face as square to that target as possible. Well, as in Ireland a couple of weeks ago, she’s starting to move away from the rest. The lead is now three. The Phenom is not slowing down. Marching on to that 11th T- box. Very good. She’ll like that one, Sophie, Amy. That’s a Leads United thing. Okay, just explaining. just feel like the competitors are missing their birdie puts whereas Lotty is just starting to gather that momentum with her birdies. Well, we’re talking about the best in the world. Netti Corder and a major champion Se Young Kim Shoju Kim Nana Manson who’s played in the Soheim Cup. But this young gun, this young buck playing her professional debut Ly W. Well, she’s keeping them at arms length again. She’s up to 16 under par now. A threeshot lead. Been some really good rounds in there. Paulito 66, Pining Choy 65. Another major champion on that board area. Jatanagon shooting a 67 today. Ria Teada leading the Rookie of the Year race on the LPGA tour. She’s inside the top 10 now. And there’s Charlie Hull, Miy Lee, some of the big names in the field. All trailing Ly W who’s reached the par 3 11th. Well, she nearly had a hole in one here on Thursday. That’s something that Lotty hasn’t had too many of. I think she’s only ever had one in her life. Her sister actually got a hole in one before she did. this 11th hole. 124 yds. Back pin all feeds in playing 140. Just draw it into it. On you go. Little bit of sand in the eye. That’s about the only issue she’s facing right now. Quarter now at 11 under par. Five back. Want to be left of this pin. Good shot from the world number one. into the breeze here on number 11 playing 140 yds. Ideal place to leave this is under the hole. We saw where Lotty WH’s ball is under the hole and that is the perfect spot. That was a better swing. Completed the follow through and the goal shot. Well, it’s been a while, but she is inside of Liy W terms of the putting. That hasn’t happened too many times today. Had that big break if you weren’t with us when she chipped in over at the par five third hole for an Eagle three. Well, it’s a lovely spot on the west coast of Scotland, the air coast or north to be precise. Little bit all above her feet here for Sean Kim. Needs to hang on to this club face. Can’t leak it right. Oh, spin from the semi- rough and that is going to go down into the valley short of 12 for Seong Kim. Well, still looking for that birdie breakthrough. Maguire subtly from right to left and in. Finally for Leona. Still outside the top 20, but there ought to be a little bit of relief. Par five to come next. Just caught a glimpse there of Wobbly the veteran caddy catting on the ladies European tour for the first time. He’s cattied an eight rider cups. He’s been on the bag of a mast’s champion in Wndom. He’s already chipped in once this week. Oh, that took a a naughty hop left on him. You’d think everything would move to the right there. Chipped in for Eagle on the 18th hole yesterday, did say Young Kim. finished eighth here last year. Sarah Schmemell. So obviously likes this done Donald Link’s layout. Nice birdie there. Just outside the top 10 as it stands. Six under. It’s a lovely little spot. This 10 comes in and then you’re out towards the fth at 11 to 12 and then you’re right by the border of the western gales layout and you head down 13. We’ll see Barassi Golf Club on the left hand side of the screen and then over the back of that 12th green in the distance that is Western Gales Lotty first to go for her birdie. She’s left it under the hole. Been so good at this all week. Leaving herself in the right positions. It’s going to be moving from right to left gradually. It’s a good pace. Well, the only bogey this week came at the 17th on day one. Their only bogey as a professional so far. I mean, if you keep that record up, you you’ll do all right. You you might bag a few quid. There might be a few firsts when we’re talking about W up to number uno in the world. Only cord downhill. Not to be. See that cauldron bunker at the back of this screen? That’s one of the old bunkers from the the first design of this golf course. I just wish it was more in place. Oh, it’s a wicked bunker there. Is it? Well, for us, I have been in that. There’s a name for it which I can’t broadcast. But uh yes, it is renowned. Put it that way. Nana Madson this to get within two. You know a bunker’s tough when there’s a number of steps to get into it and swear words to describe it. Yeah. Right. So it’s looking like just pars for our final two ball here. Madson cleaning up here for her three stays at minus3. Masiwo also tapped it. She stays at minus 16. Good job. Saying Kim for part four birdies and a bogey today. can use the back stop on 13 if you require. Chose to just take it down the left hand side there. Lauren Coglin, what a T-shot she must have hit here at 15. Tapping birdie. She’s struggling to make any birdies on the the front nine. Well, we’re getting out to the most exposed part of the golf course now. Number 12. 336 yds. Want to take this down the left side. He’s going to catch that down slope. By the way, that birdie putt from Coglin was her first birdie of the day after 14 straight pars. The way she’s been putting today, I suppose she needed a two-footer to get off the mark. Needs to find this fairway. Anything tugged left, there’s a gor bush that will capture your golf ball. That’s a 250. That’s right. Catch the mound. Oh, it’s right of the mound. There’s a mound that sits down this right hand half. And she has sprayed it way right of that. The follow through just looks loose now. Looks like she’s dropping the club under plane. She’s trying to save it on the way through. But when you see that more tighter follow through, that means that she’s more in control and the body and the arms are matching through impact. That is not what Nana Madson is doing at the minute, which is why I keep saying it’s a credit that she’s three under par and she’s coming second. Looks like she’s hanging on to that swing at the moment. Over to 13 with world number one. All right, buddy. down out the left. Look at the difference of that follow through and Madson’s. A cheeky little recoil there by Corder. Hu Kim. Good shot in. That is going to be a part for the world number 10. 10th in the world. 10th on the race to CME as well, which is the LPGA Tour standings this year. Lotty W. Well, I’m sure if you’ve been watching women’s golf in July, you’ll know all she is about. We saw her light it up in Ireland just a few weeks ago. stunning golf shot. Just wedging it into a back right pin. What a day she’s having. Fantastic. It’s rare to see anyone win in this manner, never mind an amateur. Normal service has been resumed. Back to 20 under power for Lo and back in front by six. Well, she’s showing off now. An exclamation mark on an amazing week. The wonder of wo champion here in Ireland. England Golf has another star on their hands. And as amazing as that win was, which it was, nearly half of Europe’s Soulheim Cup team from 2023 were there, it’s how she has then reacted and followed up from there. Well, I said when we were commentating on it, she isn’t the future, she’s the present. And I think that’s what we need to keep looking at here. And you know, she’s young, she’s just turned professional, but it’s not about being ready. She’s now this this is the best that you get really. You don’t know if it’s ever going to get any better than this. Yeah. Well, you only have to look at Rosang who, don’t get me wrong, is is still doing well, but isn’t living up to those heights and that early promise right now because things happen, don’t they? injuries. She carried on with her education. Don’t think Lotty will do that. No, she has another year of studies potentially left, but she’s undecided whether she will carry that on. Mess up. Well, this won’t be easy from over here, will it, Amy? No. She’s got 115 yards to the front of this green. 127 to the pin. and the pins cut on the right hand side. So, she just has to be wary of that bunker. There’s three pot bunkers that sit to the right of this green. Needs to carry that and try and get it to stop as quick as she can, but it’s going to release out of this. The only thing that is helping her is it’s into wind. Don’t want to be short here. Well, they like it back there. That’s another excellent shot from Nan Madson. You you know Paul Cwell would I I take it there will be greater penalty for missing like that in Wales next week. There will be. Yes. I’m not sure how much the rough will be up, but again, they have hot bunkers that, you know, you’re wedging out. You’re not getting to the green from the bunkers if you miss the fairway. Um, it’ll be interesting to see whether the rough is up next week, but it’s it’s a very exposed golf course. I would say it’s more of a traditional link style. Another T-shot in the center of the fairway for W inside 120 yards. That front right pin. Take it at it. Turn it off it. Long left’s good here. What about close to the hole? I said long left. That I believe that’s long left of the flag by about 2 feet. Oh, wow. Lotty. Well, there looks no stopping her as of now. Sean Kim straight across. Still pins front right here. Can use the back stop. And she’s done just that. Set herself up nicely for a birdie. Well, someone’s going to have to make a charge at Lotty W, aren’t they? Well, she doesn’t look like she’s coming back to the field at any time soon. You know, we’re talking about some class players there that are more than capable of doing that. This is another level. You know, the women’s Irish Open was a ladies European tour event. We’re talking a co-sanctioned with the LPGA world number one here. Did you say five out of the top 10 in the world? Also, here is Nelly into 13. Come on down. Oh, the radar is off today. Yeah, she doesn’t look in the mood to make one of those charges right now. Nearly called up. So, it’s Nana Madson. I mean, despite being a little riot times, is is still scoring very well. She is the closest challenger right now to Lotty W. But is just giving herself birdie look after birdie look. Yeah, Nana Madson. She’s three under par for a round. It doesn’t look like she’s got her aame out there, but getting herself out of trouble, not making any mistakes. A quick green this 12th. It’s exposed coming from the top of the green putting downhill and downwind here for Madson. So all about feel just cozying it down on that right hand side and if it drops in he would take that. Two puts is good on this 12th. Awkward stance for the world number one. Got to be fit to do that. I was in pain just looking at that. It’s like Bambi on ice there. Well, you’d hardly say her closest challengers are charging at her at the moment. Lotty W. I mean, this is now a putt. Another makeable one to go ahead by four shots now. Feeling like dja vu, isn’t it? Ireland few weeks ago. Well, every shot she’s hitting in is just inside that birdie making range. Everything’s inside 15, 20 feet. Yeah. And she’s not making them all, Amy. But she’s making enough. She’s just going about her business just kind of quietly, isn’t she? Efficiently. Efficiently. Every fairway, every green, holding the odd put and four under for a round today. This has got a little bit of break from left to right. Cap outside. similar put to what she had on the ninth hole. So much break on it. Was concerned about missing it low. So a little bit of a let off for the chasers. Although this is only for par for Nelly caugh up. Well, she’s had one birdie so far today. The rest pass. And another great parade. She’s been incredible at scrambling. not got her a game today. Yeah, her green in regulations stat won’t look very good, but the putts will. She’s only made one bogey in the last two rounds has caught it. Hojim the par five trying to skip up past that bunker. A fantastic shot in He’s going to just release to the back of the green. She’s going to have a look at Eagle from Po Kim to Sean Kim down the hill left to right for a three on 13. Didn’t move. Well, given what’s happening above them on the leaderboard, I know it’s only day three, but you feel like they got to somehow keep a pace with Lotty W, who gave them a little bit of a let off with that missed opportunity on the last two greens. 13th hole has been the hardest of the week. Eight double bogeies win from left to right. Bunker on the right is 230 to carry. Bounces off the shoulder of it into the middle of the fairway. Keep coming down that slope. Another one in prime position for Lotty W. Something Madson has really been struggling to do. You can’t miss this left. Left is on the railway line. You can see she was just trying to practice her impact position in her practice swing there. She just push one miles right. I mean, she’s got to be She was left on 10. She’s got to be secondg guessing herself here as well. This will be a nervy T-shot for her. Her main miss has been right, though. And right would still carry that bunker at 2:30. Not happy there. The Madson patience has run out. Where has that one finished? Well, someone spotted it. He’s got it. Well done. Go to your happy place. Well, she’s talked about the fact that she can get angry very easily. She must look at players like Ly Road and wonder if anything ever bothers them. Left hand side you get the fast track on 14. There you go. Scampering down there. Inside 200 yd left from a launch pad into that par five. catching up with Cassie Porter. Here she is, the Australian at 17. Just dropped a shot at 16. One of the rookies on tour from the the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Here she is on the west coast of Scotland. Nelly Cer on the par five looking to send one down the left side. Reachable for Nelly today. Well, she hasn’t made the most of the par fives so far today, but maybe here. It’s very friendly, isn’t it? Up on the green. Hu Kim hit an incredible approach shot into the par five at the back of the green. This is going to be for Eagle. Well, this would close the gap a little bit, wouldn’t it? if she could knock this in. Pace is good. Just didn’t want to come back at the end. Georgia Hall second shot on 17 60 yds negotiated. Got that to get to four of the park. could pin this on the 14th hole because if you do miss down that left hand side, it’s a tabletop green and it runs away down the low point. Just when we come into this closing stretch show you Kim managing to get on the green here in two. So the wind 14 I assume is helping a bit. What about when you’re playing 16 17 and 18? 14 and 18 play in the same wind direction. So it’ll be down off the left, those two that you can reach. The 17th par four has been pushed forward. It normally plays just short of 400 yds. It’s now 357 yards. And then the hardest holes on the course side other than the first are 15 and 16. So you kind of go easy hard easy easy to finish. Okay. So that’s what’s coming up for leading players out there. And nothing’s easy when you’re over in these kind of positions for Nana Madson. A lot of goround. See if she’s caught a break. Another train on its way from air to Glasgow. Looks like she’s in the purple patch. Not the kind of purple patch you want, though. Well, I can’t imagine she’s going to be going for this green. There is a stream that runs short. It’s only about a yard wide. You do not want to find yourself in there. It’s important to take your medicine when you get into positions like this. It looks like she’s going to come out sideways. Yeah. Yeah. There’s that stream that you were talking about there. Just going through our picture. Well, she’s getting people out the way as if she was going to go sideways, but she’s not really looking over there. I think at first she had a a mid iron in her hand, thinking that she was going to go for it. And I think when she stepped over and put the club behind the ball, soon realized actually it’s a bit thicker than I think. Yeah, she’s later in the sign, the ISPS sign in the distance, cuz that’s left and through the fairway. So, it’s almost like, well, what’s my maximum that I can hit to go out down the left hand side? It’s only a meter wide that burn, but you can’t risk it because it won’t fly. It won’t carry all the way from there. It will be running towards it. So, she’s going to pitch it out sideways here. Try and get it back on the fairway. Well, that young kid was been waiting a while, hasn’t he? It was sticking there. Kept it in the semi- rough, but a different hole for for Loi W. Position A off the T. A front right pin. It’s only 10 yards on and six from the right hand side. The only wary thing is here with the ball above her feet, she’ll think it’ll move from right to left and if she leads it out to the right, the wind will hit it and it’ll push it towards that bunker. But with only a wedge, she’s only looking at the pin right now. Another one inside 15 ft. So that’s at 13. This is at the par five 14th. Sean Kim with fairway wood trying to avoid that pop bunker. Shaw carries it all the way. Have another look at Eagle on this hole. You saw the delightful chip shot in here to 17. And now Georgia Hall looking to convert right to left. Oh, it bobbled. Shame. Just a part. Remains at three under. And for those that didn’t hear the news last week, Georgia got engaged to Caddy. Paul Dunn, former DP World Tour winner. Nelly Kilda center of the fairway on 14 reachable par five trying to fly it to the front of the green that’s pulled left 232 to the pin from the ups slope and that’s what made that ball turn over. We mentioned she’d got the left. It didn’t help there with that lie. Third now for Madson. Oh, fantastic shot here in rescue mode activated. She’s going to walk away with a p maybe here. Well, we’ve talked about her temperament and her mentality. It’s something that has let her down over the years. I’ve got to say today it could easily have got the better of her and it hasn’t. I’m struggling to remember the last fairway that she hit. Fifth, par five, maybe. Yeah, something like that. So, as I say, she’s rescuing her round of golf here. So, there’ll be a bad T-shot in there, but there’ll be a wonderful approach shot. She does look rattled. It’s It’s borderlining, isn’t it? But mentality and Yeah, she’s definitely not getting mad. No, she does. But she doesn’t look comfortable. No, she doesn’t look comfortable. But she often in the past has got what you call mad. She, you know, you can see it in her cheeks. She goes red and you know almost like steam’s coming out of her ears. But today she’s really held it together well. Been impressive given the way she is playing. Ku Kim on the par three 158 yds. It’s into wind back left pin today. Want to keep this Short right. Oh, fantastic. Fantastic shot in there. Going to give herself a good opportunity. Oh, yeah. Sumptuous from Shoju Kim. I mean, almost give her that one to get to 14 under par. So, the gap is closing a little bit, it would seem on Lotty Road, but she does have things in her hands. There’s a birdie look to come here at 13. We have seen that 14 is very much in reach. Drive a wedge to here. Right to left to start and then as it gets to the hole it will hold its line, but it’s a slow put. Sorry, left to right, but it’ll hold its line at the end. Slow as well. Yeah, a rare tentative one. That one from Liy Road. That’s three greens in a row where she’s had opportunities missed. Nearly caught her to the left on the par five. A fant another fantastic shot. Short game has just been incredible over the last few days. Well, it’s keeping her in it, that’s for sure. Well, lovely way for his daughter to get around. Sore shoulders, I’m afraid, coming up for that man, though. You’ll feel it tomorrow. Been there. It’s a big puck coming up for Nana Madson. This will be an incredible par save. Missed the fairway right about to chip out sideways and an approach shot into here. Keep it inside the hole down the hill. Oh, she thought she had saved herself, but no. A bogey for Nana Madson. Second bogey of the day. Back to 12 under par. And that one’s going to hurt. So, back to 12 under par. showed you Kim very much the main challenger right now to Liy W for Eagle and it’s landed Eagle put there for Sean Kim what I was saying Jim Huk Kim the main challenger to Liyo make that Sean Kim as well with that eagle three also moving to 14 under. She has an eagle every round. What did you expect? Yeah, that is her third eagle of the week. Lead users off to the par five 14th. The AON riskreward. The season long competition across the LPGA PGA Tour season. In every tournament during the season, there’s an AON riskreward hole. This week, it’s the par 514th and there’s been a shift in player strategy here. GFG being going for the green in two. And last year more than double the players went for the green in two than was the case in the previous two years. And the AON insight shows us why. Despite the Fed of thick rough and penal greenside bunkers, going for the green is a better decision with the reward compared to laying up more than doubling. Albeit you need to make the fairway off the tea. Last year, the champion was Lauren Coglin, and she played aggressive over the weekend, rewarded with birdies at that par five in both the third and the fourth rounds. What a week it was for Coglin. What a few weeks it was for her after winning in Canada as well. She’s played nicely so far this week, but no one’s played as well so far as Lotty W. 511 yds the par five sending one down the left side. Well, she’ll be doing GFG, won’t she, from there? Going for the green. from the back right of this 70 opport keep turning. They were into it, those two there. Well, this 14th hole was ranked the easiest hole of the course for rounds one and two. Is that a fairway found? It is. It’s straight and long for Nana Matson. Well, this would be another spectacular up and down for Corder. Oh. Oh, she seems to be holding the pars today, but not the birdie ones. That’s 13 bars and one birdie for Nelly called up. Kju Kim gets to 14 under. Good birdie there on the par three. So it’s the Korean Kims Shoju and Sey Young putting the most pressure on Lotty Wbeit the English player has spank one down the middle of the par five 14th and maybe eye up a birdie or an eagle putt herself in a moment nearly quarter frustrated hasn’t birded any in the par five so far remains at 11 under par Nana Madson off that back of that drop shot back at minus 12 w still in charge Sean Kim on 158 yds plays more like 170 into the wind. Got to leave this one short right at this pin. Middle of the green. Don’t want to miss this left. Going to feed down nicely. There’s a big slope to the right hand side of the screen. Like you said, Amy, missing in the right spot. Third shot for Cassie Porter. Back right pin here on 18. Fair bounce. Keep an eye on that one for our final groups coming through. Nelly Corder on the tea at the par three. Six iron for the world number one. That should feed off that slope. Quality strike. All right, good point. Missed that par three left on 11 with a short iron and like you were saying, do not go left there. So well negotiated. And Lotty W was down the right hand side here which meant that she did not catch that fast down grain part of the fairway. So she has left herself 219 yds to the front. 230 to the pin. Blind second shot. TV towers are always a a good target. She won’t know that being just turned professional. Has to carry the bunker short of this green. The leader Lotty word by two shots going for the green here on the 14th. 219 to the front of this green. Keep it down the right half. No holding back there. Steady. be a difficult two put, but it’s a lot easier than down that left hand side in the valley. Schmezel second to 17. Oh, lovely shot in there. Setting herself up for a nice birdie. One of the players yet to win on the LPGA tour, but you feel it’s not far away for Sarah Schmemellzel. Manana Madson hit a huge drive down 14. Found the fairway. Long iron pins back left here. Going to play up the right hand side. Trying to get it to turn back. Well, as Sophie was adhering to, better that side than the other. But another sign that things aren’t quite right for Madson. The second was going right as well. It’s not an easy warm up on this golf course either because the driving range is left to right wind and that’s what these players would have been warming up on compared to the earlier ones with no wind. Porter for birdie on 18. Riding the Aussie wave really at the moment. They’re playing some great stuff with Grace Kim and Mji Lee both winning major championships this year. Yeah, Grace Kim was here this week. She missed the cut in her first start as a major champion. Miley Lee finished with a six today. Round of 70. Promised much. She beded four of her first six holes, but four under part for the now three-time major champion won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, which is what Sean Kin won back in 2020. That was when she was player of the year. Five times winner on the LPGA tour with this traditional putting style. wants to take this one down the right hand side. Put for only the sixth two of the day on 15. Move this tea box forward. It doesn’t make it any easier. Round a 69 from Casey Porter. who came through via the Epson tour. Went on that tour last year. Settling in nicely. Couple of top 10. Played with Gemma Driver at the DAO. Gemma, by the way, yesterday shot a 67 to make the cut on the mark. And uh apparently they used AI to come up with their team name. You know, they have team names at the Dow. So it was a Scott and an Australian. They came up with the Kilted Koalas thanks to AI. Back to the 15th green nearly quarter down the hill. It’s going to move gradually from right to left. This go needs to hurry. Where am I? Frustration for the world number one today. Well, no one had made more birdies over the first two days than Nelly Cer 14. She’s had one today in what are, you know, getable conditions, within five of the lead. I think anytime you tee up the the final round within six, you believe you’ve got a chance. But just for her own spirit and spark, you feel like Cordon needs to make a couple of birdies coming in. Yeah, that we’ve called. Everyone’s calling. I think Amy, we could be the Georgian Dragon. That could be our team. I like that. Yeah. Not sure we’re getting into the DAW anytime soon. I think you’ll be in the Georgian Dragon having a drink. That’s what I think. Never mind playing on the DAO. Looks like Lywood is waiting for a rolling sprinkler head. So Anna Madson will go first. Good look at what she faces here. Well, she’s got to be careful not to over hit this. There’s a down slope past this pin that is going to feed all the way down into that valley. There’s a slope that she’s got to pitch up and over. Got to be really precise with the landing spot on this one. Sounded a little bit heavy that, but it’s going to work out to take this one outside of the hole. Oh yes, her fourth three. Fifth three, actually. for the back nine. Well played. Warmed up for this week, didn’t she? By playing a few rounds at Cari. Always a Well, nowhere will ever be as hard as that. This place must feel easy. Hybrid needed. That’s 16 for Shoju Kim. This club she used into the 15 and it was awesome. That’s not too bad either. Settle free drop here for Lotty Wo from that sprinkler head. What club she taken out there? Looks like she’s got a wedge again just off the green here. She’s done this a few times over the past few days and she’s been just off the green taking out all the slopes. So what? Fly it onto that top level or chase it up? Flying it the whole way. It looks like here. Just want to brush that fairway like you were never there. executed there just right. Could hear the strike, the nip on the first bounce. Sean Kim trying to find the fairway on 16. Looks like it’s leaking right. It’s just a question of how far right. That’s fine. There’s a bunker down there at 260 yds, but that’s not been reached. Hence why Nelly is opting for the 3-wood. We’ll try and fizz this one. went from right to left. Just needs to try and squeeze out a couple of birdies here late on. Nelly Corder, she can’t afford to give up too many shots to Lotty W heading into the final round. Assuming Lotty is going to be the player leading come the end of this third round. Nothing so far from what we’ve seen to suggest that won’t be the case. Don’t like our I was going to say our new camera operators. Not even got the player in shot there, that’s better. He’s going to move from right to left for Madson. Oh, a good up and down there for Birdie. That’s a battle birdie there by Nana Bogi. That 13th hole bounced back. Well, think of the opportunity she had at 11, 12, and 13. Lotty W pacing around, giving this a good look. Looking for something. Um, you’d think it’d be left to right, but because she’s more around the side of this hole, there won’t be as much movement in it. And those three chances that you were talking about, Richard, were all left to right puts. So this one shorter and a lot straighter. Yeah, this is the green. We came out after we’d been on air. Came and watched her roll in her first birdie of the second round on her way to an equal best of the week 65. That gave her the lead. No problem at all. 17 under and rising. The lead is three again. Up ahead at 18, Georgia Hall. This for Birdie. Double breaker. Well, once upon a time she was the young England phenom winning around Royal Rhythm and Stans winning the AIG Women’s Open. Been a better week. Three underp a tough year for Georgia now outside the top 100. But her fiance there with a consoling hug. She’s 127th on the CME standings. 10th is Hoju Kim. Oh, that one. Speed kept it out on that 16th hole. Driver hybrid she had to hit in here with that wind direction into out the right. Playing 400 yd today. Well, confirmation birdie taking Liyo to 17 underpart. I mean, she’s five under for the round and you think of the opportunities that she hasn’t made. still a very healthy advantage she has. I know you can’t make them all, but it’s the simplicity of the round so far. Those I keep saying those puts, they were left to right and they were quite severe, weren’t they, Amy? That one there on that right to left is just a lot easier for a right-hander to make. What sort of club would you be hitting in here? Well, it’s 158 yards to the pin today. It’s into breeze. Playing at least 165, 170. 6 iron. 6 iron. Got to keep this right of this pin. There’s a runoff to the left of this pin that goes all the way down and we’ll miss the green. 19 yds on, six from the left. And there’s a slope that sits to the right of this green. So you can use that to feed it into this pin. She’s been so good at leaving herself in the right position on the greens. Six iron for W. That one moving from left to right. It’s safe. The misses are always in the correct spots. Pot knocked in nicely by Shoju Kim. So she remains 14 under. This is Miranda Wang up at 18. Just inside the top 10 at seven under path for the Chinese rookie. Mentioned Casey Porter playing well at the DAO the pairs event. She teamed up with Lindy Duncan. They finished third there just outside of that playoff. Yeah. Don’t even want to be looking at this pin. 19 on six from the left. You’ve got a good 20 yards right of it. Nicely done. Well, it’s the third day at Dundon lengths for this ISPS handle Women’s Scottish Open where I think it’s fair to say we’re maybe looking at five potential winners. One of them being Sean Kim. Fantastic shot there. I mean there’s an eight shot gap between Lotty at the top and Paulito in sixth. Nelly Cord has got a nice angle into this pin straight down the pin but just a club short. I mean even at this stage Sophie you would be surprised if the winner doesn’t come from that top five. Absolutely. the quality that is in it. Weather forecast tomorrow, I think we’re getting a little bit of rain. Yeah, it could be tricky out there tomorrow. So, you won’t see somebody like a RTO score coming through. You’d expect if it’s harder conditions, but I say even she’s eight back as it stands. Not quite pushed on since that opening round of 69. Lauren Coglin. Couple of bogeies here late on means it’s a round of 73 for the defending champion. Was really in a special moment in her career last year on her way to making the Soulheim Cup team for the very first time. Single putted the final seven greens here to win by four shots. And Megan Kang played alongside her. It was just like there was just nothing I could do. I just had to sit back and watch. I think in the end she had 11 one puts on that last 18 holes around here. T pushed forward on this 17th hole. Normally plays just under 400 yd and now it’s down and slightly to the right off this T- box. for the angle. You can see Hoju there using the right hand side of the T- box looking to cut across those bunkers down the left. There is a pot bunker on the left hand side that is not in sight. You just got to hope you miss it if you go down that left hand side. Lotty Wo just off the edge of the green and got another wedge in her hand. She’s been so good with this club all day. Taking out all the break of this pitching at halfway. Letting it release to the hole right to left. another delightful touch. Now, Dermit’s carding for her the for the first time this week. Whenever she pulls out a wedge on the fringe, when when she first did that, she must have been like, you know, you sure? Like, yeah. And now it’s okay. Here’s your wedge. Keep it close. Well, I’m sure uh her coach Luke Bones watching at home. Luke will be back on the bag next week at Royal Fourth Core. And then Derma here will be out with her in the US as she starts her LPGA tour career in America. Cer looking to chip this one in. Close. I like what Cer does though. She’s okay with playing a more straight face club and have it come out flatter. Yubon trying to finish with a birdie not to be. She has made a little bit of a fight back in this round and will be a level par day but it’s uh it’s going to be tight tomorrow. There’ll be a second chase going on to try and get into the AIG Women’s Open. Newborn certainly amongst those who could pick up one of those three spots available to the players in the field this week. Not yet qualified otherwise it’s going to be the final qualifier on Monday in Wales. Nana Madson found the center of the green. This is going to be a slow p uphill into the breeze and it’s going to move couple of cups from right to left. Oh wow. She’s had fantastic. She’s had some moments today, hasn’t she? She has the chip in. Hold that from outside birdie range. Been struggling off the tea, but made some fantastic saves like this. It’s kept her in it. It really has. Four under par for a day where she really hasn’t had a long game. And that moves her into that share of second place at 14 under par. Sean Kim trying to get out of that tie for second. Just moved the other way at the end. Yeah, difficult pin this on 16. Sometimes try and look for a bit more break than is actually there. Well, hardly a gimme. Right edge part. Just the second bogey of the week for Lotty W. Hardly crisis time, but unexpected. There may be a little bit of hope for the chasing pack. rolled it nicely, but just didn’t move as much as she thought. So back to 16 under for Lotty W. lead is still two. It’s from three players and then a three shot gap to nearly cord up. Leona Maguire struggling today. Plus two gets one back there. just had a tough front nine, but score looking a little more respectable. And it’s been a very nice afternoon on the west coast of Scotland. Leaders are making their way now to the 16th hole. The 16th hole, you can hit a straight T-OT and miss this fairway. A spine runs through the middle of it, so anything left can catch the rough and it leaves yourself a longer shot in, but it also brings into play that bunker on the left hand side. It’s the easiest drive to take on because the wind direction will be from right to left and you’re playing away from the trouble. But if you take it down the right hand side, then on this right hand side, you’ve got a bunker at 260 yards off the tea. So it might not be driver, but you get a great shot into that green. You can play up the green and avoid the bunker on the left hand side. The thing is off the tea, you’re aiming at trees and you’re aiming at trouble in that bunker. So it does get in your head. However, if you can find the confidence to find this right hand side, it does make this approach shot so much easier. This T- shot, it’s all about the bounce. What an unusual feeling coming to the tea for Lotty W off the back of a bogey, which means a little two-shot swing between Nana Madson and Lotty W at the last. She’s not going to get it all her own way. And that was a fighting two by Nana Madson two. Yeah, she’s opting in 43wood to avoid that traffic, please. The wind should be coming from right to left with a touch of hurt. So, please w also taking less than driver. There’s a bunker 260 yards down the right side that needs to be avoided. Laying up short of that full commitment there. We’ll just hang on to that left side. Yoju having to come over that front left bunker here. Flags on 17. Minimum carry is 10 over that bunker. She’s done it. Great shot. It’s as close as you can get to that pin from that angle. What a reminder. Loi is playing for the first time as a professional. She turned pro after finishing third as an amateur at the last major, the Abian Championship. Started the day with a twoshot lead and after that drop shot at 15, she’s back to being two in front. So, five shots separating the top five. Erica Jatanagon, former champion. she won in 2018 inside that top 10. Couple of Australians there. Caris Davidson and Cassie Porter both playing nicely today. Charlie How important for her Sophie just to try and get the fitness back and after what happened to her in Evian. Yeah, very worrying how how she collapsed. She got herself a virus and had to pull out of the Evian Championship. and she mentioned, you know, blood pressure 80 over 50 and luckily she seems to be okay now, but has told herself and has been recommended to not go to the gym to have a good four weeks off. There’s big weeks, especially being European playing Evian and the AIG Women’s Open and this women’s Scottish Open. So, she’s resting up, just getting some reps in and hopefully back to full fitness by next week in Wales. She speaks about being maybe 80% at present. 71 players made the cut, fed up one over pass. So we’re now looking at the players who haven’t quite had the day they were looking for. Surprised to see Yang slip back so far. Emily Pison not yet in for the AIG Women’s Open. 74 from her. And Gemma Driver following up that 67. The only Scott to make the cut. So she will win the Jock McVicker Trophy for the leading Scott again. That’s how it looks at the top. Ku Kim for birdie down the hill. Gave it a go. Seven birdies for a round today. One bogey. Road’s got a nice angle into this pin down the left side. Pins 11 on nine from the right. going with a sixiron again. Same club that she hit on the 15th hole. Wasn’t particularly happy with the strike, but it’s crept onto that front left for her. Birdie Pep for Schmemellzel on 18 left to right. That’s going to come up quite a way short. Madson from 160. Back into the wind from right to left. Sit down. It’s at the top of that slope. Well, it was a fairly weak birdie try, but nicely hold for par. Follows up yesterday’s round of 69 with another one today. playing there with Nuri Turios who’s had a very tough day. She’s gone round in 80 today. The Morcan say young Kim wedging it in to 17. Fantastic. It is off. Well, things have tightened up. There’s no doubt about it over the last half an hour or so. Sean Kim with that eagle at 14 Kim hopefully going to make her par here. She’s six under for the round. These are players who have done it before. Seven wins on tour for Shoju Kim. 15 for Nelly Corder. Downwind pitch from the semi-uff looking to catch the slope and keep it to the right of this pin. Beautiful. Well, she finished with a couple of birdies yesterday. Nelly Corder. She could really do with that again. This is the 16th green and two strong holes for the players of 15th for par three which wo did just bogey and then this one the 16th hole less than half the field have hit this fairway and green in regulation. You would say this front right pin is probably the easiest one. Yeah, I think anything at the front of this green hole location wise are the easier pins. Plays a long hole as well. The green is 38 yds long, so it can be a three club difference from front to back. W at the front of this green. Double breaker this part. It’s going to be slow. the wrong line. 18th T box 527 yd par five. Keep this one down the left driver. How about that run out for Shoju Kim? There’s no doubt the fairways are drying out. Greens are still pretty soft though, which is a nice scoring combination. Sean Kim this for birdie to get outright second just slides by the right side back to 16 with Nana Madson a huge break from left to right oh yes she’s got another another huge cut for the day it waited a off. Well, what a scoring round this is. This has been a roller coaster, but it’s been a fun one to watch. It’s a great line, isn’t it? You think, well, it’s got enough pace and then it goes, wait a minute. There you go. So, she’s had a chicken. She had that long one on the par three that she’s just holding that there side door. Well, Netty Corder could do with a little bit of that. Just the one birdie today on her scorecard. Make that two and suddenly she’s back within four. Yeah, you feel like she needed that especially going into tomorrow’s round. So Nana Madson with two huge putts gets herself within one of the leader Liy W the Danish Soulheim Cup player up to 15 under par. Now Nelly Cer up to 12 under. Then a threeshot gap to Puerto Rico shot a super 66 the South African today to get to nine under part. Keeping an eye on those places for the AIG Women’s Open and one or two have certainly done their chances no harm whatsoever. Been very different, hasn’t it? the performances today from Lotty W and from Nana Madson. But Madson now is outscoring the English player in this third round. We’ve had fireworks, haven’t we? The the steadiness of W, but the, you know, just recovery. That’s the best way to describe Nana Madson’s round. The way she has recovered five under par. It’s been a great march. You don’t feel like she’s had a ray game. not really hit it that close, but her chip in a couple of huge parts. And she’s five under. Look, it is it sustainable? No. But her tea green normally is very very good. So finished around, get on the range and there was a couple of swings that you thought, you know, that that one into 13, then she didn’t make it. You w then she’s gone. But the way she’s fought back, admirable. Yeah. birdies at 1415 and now 16 Fernana Madson. Don’t ask me. It’s an airplane indeed. But you’re right. You know, she misses that put on the par four and you think, “Oh, I think she might be gone here.” She’s not. So good. And now with her power, she could get this one on the front edge. Well, they’ve moved the T- box forward on 17. 357 yards today. And it’s a good wind direction. It’s down off the right. So, she’s going to take this over them two left bunkers down the left side. Trying to avoid the two on the right. Hampton. Yeah, I think this is a T- shot that you don’t actually want to go first on cuz the line is right. Just aim over all that trouble down the left hand side. You have to hit it further left than you want to because we’ve got a forward right T- box and a dog leg right to left. But you got to play this straight. I’m not sure which is the greater number. Fairways hit or birdies made. Well, the good news about that shot if it is down the right hand side. She’s opened up the green. So although it’s going to be in the rough, she’s going to have a good angle into that pin. W just has to avoid the left hand side hidden trap. It’s one of the old bunkers on this golf course. It’s 270 off the tea. There was no holding back on that one. position. A full send for W. There she stepped on that one. Slowly been clawing things back today. Leona Maguire. And there’s a birdie birdie finish. The 73. Disappointing really, but At least a bit of respectability at the end. Out in 39 back in 34 inside the top 20. Finished top 10 at the Avian Championship. Her best result of the season. couple over today for Minami Catu. 235 yds to the pin. Looking for a high cut. The anti-water ball. All depends on the lie there. Water runs from front left all the way down the right hand side here on this 18th green. Pros hate moving the golf ball towards penalty areas. That’s what you have to do on 18 to find this green. Nelly cer 527 yds the par 5 18. It’s downwind to send this one up the left side. Open up the green. Well, it looks very much like it’s going to be a five-way battle tomorrow. Whatever happens here in the last or the latter stages of this third round, it’s going to be a really fascinating final day here in Scotland. And unlike Ireland where you know she got in front ly road and she just car carried on stretching away today on this back nine the chasing pack have managed to just move a little closer to the English player at the top amongst those being seims three under par for this back nine already had an eagle on 14 chipped in here yesterday when she came out on tour. She was the longest player off the team for the first couple of years at only just over 5 foot. She really can’t get it out there down that left hand side. Just didn’t seem to get the skip that we saw Kyoju Kim receive. Well, there’s the ball of Nana Madson. Yeah, the lie looks good. And she’s opened the green out here. Yeah, she must have been up against the uh the TV cables there. This doesn’t mean I’m using it. Giggling oil. stuff. He’s playing straight down wind. This second shot from Nana from this angle. Pins tucked on the left side. and pitch this 5 yds on and let it release up the green please. Thank you. Yeah, it’s really one of few shots that you actually have to play for a landing area and a release. It’s This one feels like a a Lynx golf shot. Well, she’s had it again. You think there’s been a big debate here. She’s, you know, made a decision. Here we go. And then out comes another club. Wrong choice. Fly up. That seemed to sit down as well where it’s finished. That’s mis landing zone by 15 yards there. Will be able to get more perches on this one. It’s from the ups slope and off the fairway about 60 yards left in here. Still looking to pitch this short right of the pin. Majestic by W. No nonsense. Well, it’s going to be a big Sunday, isn’t it, for English women’s sport, the English women’s team in the European Championship final. Multiw leading here. That sanded clunky bounced off that dry sandy light for Bley though. And Li’s a big fan, isn’t she, of football, and she she would want to watch it, but she’s got to drive to Wales after tomorrow’s final round. We’re very lucky in Britain that we have fantastic radio coverage. So, I’m sure that she’ll be listening to the Lionesses. I think they kick off at 5:00 tomorrow. Yeah. And the radio coverage might be good as well at the Women’s Open, too. I’ve heard they’ve got all the best ones commentating. But what do you think? Seven and a half hours on a good run down to Royal Pore from here. Yeah, you might need to stop on the way. There’s a family entourage going. So, it’s not there’s a there’s a lot of the W family heading off to Wales from Scotland. Nelly Cer just laying up on the par five. A little bit of a down slope. If you don’t hit this fairway on 18, it costs you half a shot. So, if you’re down the right, you’re in trouble. Down the left, you can’t go for it. Now, this looks juicy for Nana Madson. Just wants to pop this on the front edge of the green and have it come down the slope. That’s Classy. She does look better when she plays the shot quicker and is more decisive over it. Yeah, but a similar part for par that Liy W has for Birdie coming up there. Koju Kim this for Birdie on a final hole of the day up the hill. Good effort. Just didn’t move. Well, she shot 66 yesterday. It’s another 66 today from Koju Kim. Another one tomorrow. And you never know, it may well be an eighth LPGA Tour title for the Korean world number 10. 70 666 666. All depends on what WO does on these final two holes. Looking for birdie number six of this third round inside right in it goes. I mean it did just go in with some authority from Liy Wo there. rattled in it. Those right to left puts, they don’t have a chance. They dare not miss. Look at that guy behind with the smile looking at her sister and say, “I can’t believe what I’m seeing.” Well, he’s not alone, is he really? I mean, we’ve been watching her now for three weeks in a row. I mean, she had a week off last week like all the players on the LPJ and LE tours. time and time again. We’re just seeing her take courses in esteemed fields apart. Yeah, I am. I’m into her putting. She works with Nick Sto who teaches a lot of the English players. That’s how she knows Charlie Hall. The speed when it’s uphill. I mean, you said Amy, that’s the first put I’ve seen her leave short earlier on. The speed of her putts are so good. Well, the gap was down to one. If this doesn’t go in, it’ll be back to three. Important put. She’s got the read off Lotty W. Good save. Excellent from Nana Mansion. You’ve just come off the back of three birdies in a row. You give one back there and you walk into the 18th hole. You’re deflated. Now she’s going there thinking I can reach this in two. Tricky day it’s been for inner Yun. Three over par for the day staged that way. 75. So the final two vault and the penultimate pair coming down 18 cer playing with se young Kim not wo with Nana Madson then it’s been a good scoring day there’s no doubt about it tomorrow might be a little trickier we shall see maybe a bit more wind certainly some rain it seems to deal with We’ve had some terrific winners here. Seline Boutier, Yakafudo, Lauren Coglin the last three years. Nelly Corder from 92 yds. Pin they’re going out three balls tomorrow. Soelli will be in the penultimate three ball. Whatever happens to the next shot coming up might be where your ball is honest with you. Sean Kim playing alongside will have the chance to play herself into that final three ball which Liywood will be there. 18th T 527 yds looking to send this one down the left half of the fairway. Wind off the left heading down the right side. How how easy does that mean? Well, she had a layup yesterday. We’re doing the same today. When you’ve got a wedge game like hers though, there’s not there’s not a Oh, I can’t go for it. I’m not going to make birdie. It’s almost like she stands on a par five and has two options of making a birdie. Next up, Nana Madson. Five under par today. Has the power to get here and to hit an iron into this green yesterday. Must find this fairway though. Oh, she’s missed it right on this back nine and has done it again here. Oh, she got another break. Another hands up as if to say they’ve got it. She’s She’s had a few breaks. I think it’s fair to say today she’s made the most of them. She’s hanging in. You don’t have to play well to score well. And we were saying that Lotty Wed what she averaged 67.4 over the last three weeks in her rounds. Well, she’s heading for even with a par here a 67. It’s frightening. It really is. You can’t keep up. So they make their way up the 18th. A helicopter hovering there. Not sure which way to go. Sean Kim left on 18. Awkward stance, but a fantastic recovery shot. Well, an up and down there and she will be in the final three ball tomorrow. Well, birdied all the par fives yesterday. Hasn’t birdied any of them so far today. We’ve not seen anybody hold this pot. drops downhill to start with and then you can see the darker color on the green. That means it’s going to go uphill and it’s into I mean a very minimal people might say grain, but it’s more uphill. Playing on bent grass here and then it’ll move from left to right in that last half of the put. Hasn’t made much today. So, it’d be fitting if she does hold this difficult birdie put on the 18th hole. Well, not the day that she was looking for. I think that’s uh an understatement really. I mean, she has been bogey free. That’s the positive. She has extricated herself from some difficult positions and got up and down but two under par around here in these conditions with the quality of player around her is not going to see her get her first win of the year but there are still hopes for Nelly Cer going into tomorrow’s final round and a finish for a young Kim. So she moves to 15 under round of 66. Getting a shot better every day. See what tomorrow brings. That’d be nice. 65 to finish the tournament off. That could seal the deal. Yeah, that might work. Well, it’s a dramatic setting, isn’t it, on the air coast. I’m assuming this is some kind of training exercise that’s going on with that helicopter hovering there over the f of Clyde. Unbelievable picture it provides. That sign right there. So, did she go in the gor? Looks like she’s getting relief from her stance being on the path if that’s where the teeg is from where our ball is. Yeah, good point. Felicity Johnson Flick the referee helping Nana out here. She needs to take full relief from the path. Yeah. Can’t have the path interfering with her stance at all. That’s good. We got some places and they sort of back there. Got a little bit lucky to not be in the course there, didn’t she? Yeah. One left, one right. She could have gone into and she’s gone in between them. Yep. Am I am I still okay here? Yep. Like even if I just want to listen take your sensation. Okay. I don’t think I’ll stand wider than this. Yeah. I think I think you probably the heel’s already on it. So, I think we just need to drop it again. Yeah. Well, like we mentioned, needs full relief that left heel on it. So, we’ll need to drop it slightly further away in order to get a a clear stance. Perfect. Pausing play now. Yeah, you’re good there. You You might be in danger there. Friday. We’re going to try and move this camera. Talking to our camera operator over there saying you might be in danger. Hope he’s got a tin or she’s got a tin hat on. Surely she’s going to go right of the camera guy. Figret I think’s uh understanding what’s going on now and he’s on the move. Oh no, it might be going straight over. You see those three bunkers? So if you carry those, you’ve gotund yards to the front of the green or you decide to leave it short of them. All depends on the lie. If she lays up short, if she lays up short, she’s got about 130 front and if she goes over them, she’ll have inside 100 yards. see half of the golf ball. Yeah. Oscar’s standing up there just to give her the uh the line. Yeah, he can’t stay there. Not that he would, but you you can give the line, but then you have to pull yourself away. I mean, the camera should help in terms of knowing which way to go. Looks like Losi might be playing first here. Yeah. Yeah. W is playing here. She’s laying up. She can carry those cross bunkers. Well, we’re going to see one more wed wedge before the end of the day. The previous ones we’ve seen have been pretty smart. She really does excel at pitching. So, now she’s taken the relief from the path. Now she’s got line of sight in terms of the camera, unless they can move the camera. Go a straight over us. I’m not sure how heavy those cameras are. Yeah. I don’t know why you can’t say hit it. And if it hits the camera, you can play it again. Yeah. She doesn’t want to break that lens. Unless you’re paying for it, Sophie. It’s a fixed camera though, isn’t it? It is. Yeah. Not sure how long it takes to unfix. Yeah, I know. Well, it looks like she will have to lay up short of them two pop bunkers from this angle. The cameras in her line and he’s right on her line. Correct. Amy, she’s got to go through those bunkers. It’s not about force. It’s about to move it. It’s about Do you need a hand to move it? I need somebody. I mean, we’ve got another volunteer here to help. Do you want me to? You tell me. No, no, no. I’m sorry. They’re just trying to They say they got a whole team that is It all feels a little farical, doesn’t it really? But I suppose, you know, can we can we lower the tripod? when TV gets in the way. I have I have some help, please. Apparently, we’re sending some of our crew along to try and help move these these are heavy cameras. I’m sure, you know, shout to a few of the spectators, get them all involved. And one, two, three, lift and off we go. Got her mind elsewhere, though. Well, while the camera removal goes on, I think we’ll head off to uh the interview area. Edgar Morse is down there, and I think he’s caught up with Sean Kim. Zun 600 today. You’re going to be two maybe three shots off the lead. We’ll see how Lotty finishes. But how do you assess your day? Yeah, it’s uh pretty solid today. Another good round. Uh and the last part uh last bird is a kind of help for the tomorrow. So yeah, I had a uh eagle the whole 14. Yeah. So I met I made it the little long pause. So yeah, it’s uh uh I play quite slowly today. Yeah, we were joking yesterday. Well, your caddy was joking with you that you have to be more like Scotty Sheffller. So, how were you out there today compared to how Scotty Sheffller plays? I don’t know. Uh maybe today’s a little bit of similar a little bit. Yeah. But, uh yeah, I play uh very calm today. Wasn’t like a two up and down. So, even I made a uh I had a mistake um some holes. I I try to reset and then try to calm and then stay focused again. It’s a Yeah, it’s kind of similar today. It’s obviously you’ve won so much in your career, but it’s been a little while since you’ve you’ve tasted victory. To be in this position heading into the final day, it just must be a sign of how well you’re playing again. Yeah, it’s been a while since the last uh win since I maybe four years ago. So, yeah, I’m waiting for the long time. So I’m still like working hard and then always always the goal is to reach the win the tournament. So yeah, we all like working hard for that. So hopefully uh play what I want to do. So we’ll see finish tomorrow. Well, if you keep shooting rounds of six under, you’re going to have a great chance. Good luck to you. Yeah, thank you. Appreciate. Yeah. the end of uh 2020, the last time she won. She’s uh going to be a real threat tomorrow, that’s for sure. So, the camera has been moved. Nana Madson is ready to play her second at last. The camera was fine. We could have left it there. Cleared it by a mile. Now, who’s volunteering to put it back? Final group. We’re good till tomorrow. Yeah. Yeah. They’ll move the tea box up tomorrow. So, that camera will need to be moved. Well, hopefully anyway. It’s taking a little while this final hole just to put things in some kind of perspective here in terms of what Lotty W could achieve tomorrow. Now, the last player to win on her first start as a pro on the LPGA tour was Rose Zang at the Mizzouo America’s Open at Liberty National two years ago. and she was the first woman to win an LPJ event in her debut as a pro since Beverly Hansen in 1951 when she beat Jennifer Cupcho in a playoff. So that was 72 years to wait for a player to win on her pro debut on the LPJ tour. Here we are 25 months later and Lotty Wob will have the chance to do that tomorrow. The first one, well, the last one I think on the ladies European tour, I reckon I played in that event. Aahara Moonoff won the Madrid Masters in her debut. Well, didn’t there has been a few since then, didn’t Well, didn’t Shannon Tan win on her pro debut to win? Yeah, I suppose. Yeah. Open. Alice Houston, South Africa. Yes. But yeah, on the LPGA tour, it’s a it’s a rarity. I mean, that is how startling this performance is this week from Lottiwote. Not that she’s anywhere near getting that job done yet. Nana Madson 143 yds left into the 18th hole. That pin is cut six yds from the right side. 37 yds on. It’s all the way at the back of the green this. And she did get over those cross bunkers. So that was a brilliant recovery from the right hand side. Yeah, pretty brave to take them bunkers on as well from that lie. We did take go and it listened. Needs to keep this ball going up the left side of the green. Feeding it in from left to right. Wind’s helping from the left. Some more discussions with a caddy on club selection. Can’t be right at this pin. feeds off to the right. And there is that hazard that runs along short and right of this green. She’s at it again on the green for three. Fist bumps. Happy with that one. And just to add to the Rosang theme with Lotty W. Rose Zang this week was playing at Lotty’s Golf Club, wasn’t she? At Farnum. Yeah, she went down to Farnham Golf Club, then went on to Bernham and Barrow. I think she met a few of the juniors at Farham Golf Club. They’ve got over 150 juniors down there. Incredible. The Farnum Faithful be watching right now as Lotty stands over this wedge shot 80 yards. Not the greatest of lies. Look how far below the feet that ball is. So, she’ll be holding on to this wedge down that left side of the pin. Another wedge struck with authority from Liy W. Well, July 2025, I think it’s going to go down in the books for Loi W. Whatever happens over the next 24 hours, the win in Ireland, the third place in Evian, which brought with its LPGA tour card and a day of significance tomorrow in uh getting another win, but would also help out her her ladies European tour status as well because right now she cannot take up membership until January. But if she won tomorrow, she would have 24 hours to accelerate that, which I’m sure she would, which would be significant in terms of gaining Soulheim Cup points as well because even though it’s a year away, it’s hard given what we’ve seen not to see her playing in the Netherlands next year for Anna Norquist’s team. It would, but you never know. I mean, for me, she’s winning these points right now. and which she’ll get world ranking points. Yeah, but you no one ever likes to rely on picks for teams. You want to get in automatically. Yeah, but as I say, she will get world ranking points and there are a number of places from the world rankings list. My start the highest ranked European right now inside that top 10. Nana Madson, I’m sure, would love to be in the team. She’s only played once in the soul home. That was back in 2021 when she was part of the winning team in the US. Well, it’s been a battling performance. Fair to say she has not been at her best, Nana Madson, but she still has this for a putt for a round of 66. Up the hill. right to left. So, she’ll tap that in. She’ll start the final round in a share of second place as she goes looking for a second LPGA tour and second ladies European tour win tomorrow. Just a reminder of how Lotty Wo got to where she is on the green. This was her third from 80 yards. Just sat too quickly for her, didn’t it? All over the flag. So the question now is, is it going to be a two or three shot lead to take into the final round for Lotty? W haven’t seen a put hold on this green for a while. This pin is well guarded by some slopes at the top of the slope here. Wowed downhill right to left curler. started the day with a twoshot lead and she ends this third round. Two ahead once more. An excellent front running performance from this English phenom. Lotty W on her professional debut will lead heading into Sunday here in Scotland. What an incredible performance. First one as a pro. Incredible year. Incredible amateur career. We are seeing a superstar in action. And Sophie, everything just looks so normal, doesn’t it? It just This is standard. She’s missed seven greens all week. It’s just so efficient in what she does. In fact, she’s not six screens, two each day. It’s it’s relentless in its process. It’s all about process for Lotty W. The outcome takes care of itself. And her interviews, it’s well, obviously, yeah, you know, just want to keep everything the same. And I’m here to win. When I played in all these big tournaments before, that’s what I want to do. I remember when she birded the first hole at St. Andrews on the final day last year at the ARG World Open. She wasn’t thinking about winning a Smith Salva. She’s thinking about winning the championship. It’s like an Evian. She wasn’t thinking about getting the 20 points to take the leap, the LPGA, elite amateur pathway to get her LPGA tour card. She was thinking about shooting low enough to win the Evian Championship. Has always wanted to play at the top of the game, always believed that she could do that. And now she is here. We’re not looking at the future. And Amy, whatever happens tomorrow, you don’t think she’s going to be overroared by that occasion, do you? No, she just looks so comfortable in this position, doesn’t she? She doesn’t look like anything’s phasing her. She’s just going around about her business, hitting fairways, hitting greens, pulling the odd P. She’s just making it look effortless, to be honest. Yeah, she’s just around shot around a 67 and it could have been lower, but it never looked like being more. Look, when you set up a golf shot, you say where you should be, where you’d like to be. It’s almost like she listens and she does that. She hits the She hits the ball exactly where you need to hit the ball at the moment. Like I keep saying, this is this is as good as it gets right now, but it’s come very early for W. Very early. Yeah. You don’t feel like this is just a hot streak though, watching her. You feel like, as I said before, it’s kind of the norm. Let’s look back at how she shot that 67 today. Four straight pass to open the day. This was on the par five for Birdie. First Birdie of the day. Yeah, she was up and running. P the sixth was so patient, wasn’t she? Mentioned how she’d not dropped a shot yesterday, only one bogey on the scorecard on the first round and then walk this one in. So, she was too on a path through seven holes. And there were times today where you thought she might open up a three, four plus shot gap on the race. She did pan out that way, but it was a case of she couldn’t hold them all. She did here at eight. Yeah, one of the tougher holes on the course. She hit an incredible shot into here. And this one was always in the middle. It went out in 33 having started the day at 12 under par and then into 10. That right to left wind. This has been the yardage which she’s been the best at. She’s been hitting it into 22 feet from this number and the LPG average is 28 feet. She’s at this highest of levels right now. She’d convert that. She’d go to four under par through 10. Yeah, missed some really good chances. 11, 12, and 13, but chipped it up to here at the par five 14th. Yeah, short game was incredible, especially on the par five just off the green. chipping up. Did knocking another one in. Yeah, did make only her second bogey of the week over at 15, but there was a response. Her wedge play, it’s sublime. Anything inside 120 yards knocks it in tight. It’s effortless for W because of all the hard work she puts in off the golf course on that wedge play. Lets it happen on the golf course. And then this one from right to left for a birdie. Her sixth one of the day. Got herself to five under park. 17 under total which is where she would finish. Well, what an opportunity awaits tomorrow for Liy Wo. That’s impressive, isn’t it? As has been the performance from the English player. confirmation of that twoshot lead. But you you look at that leaderboard. Netti Cer, we know what she’s capable of. Got major champions in Sho Kim and Sean Kim as well. And well, Nana Madson’s shown today that she is capable of making plenty of birdies. But right now, head and shoulders above the rest is Lotty Wo taking it all in a stride. Let’s hear what she makes of it. Lotty, well played out there. Round of five under. What are your thoughts? Um, I mean, I’ll take it overall, but I feel like I probably played better than I did the last two days, but just didn’t really score too well. Got myself a lot of chances, but I mean, I’m happy with how I played T Green. Just could have maybe hold a few more paths. Yeah. How did conditions compare today to the the first two days? It looked still pretty good for Scottish Links. Yeah, I think we’ve been pretty lucky with the weather so far. It’s been not too windy. I don’t know if it’s going to be different tomorrow. We might We haven’t had rain all week, so I think we’ve been pretty lucky. a lot of eyes on you this week and you’ve been delivering. Are you feeling the greater attention that’s on you now you turn pro and now obviously you’re doing well in a tournament of this profile. Um I don’t think it’s too different. I feel like there was a lot of attention kind of, you know, leading up with me trying to get my points. So this kind of feels a bit more free now that I’ve, you know, got my card. And your thoughts ahead of tomorrow, realistically, if you do something similar score-wise that you’ve done today, you’re going to have a great chance. Yeah, I mean that’s the aim. just going to try and shoot as low as possible and just keep giving myself chances and you know if someone shoots the lights out then fair enough. You don’t strike me as someone who looks like they get nervous but heading into the final day is there anything like that in your mind? Um I think there’s always nerves but I mean overall I’m feeling good and just excited for the opportunity I’ve got got the experience from leading um in Ireland and you know other events I’ve been in. So just going to try and use that. Good luck to you. Thank you. Yeah, this is a player who’s won around Augusta National that won on the 80s European tour a matter of weeks ago. If there are any nerves, she knows how to handle them. And we’ve talked about her scoring average, Sophie. I mean, you can’t see a really depending on the weather shooting anything other than underpar. So those players, Nelly Cer, Koju Kim, Nana Matson, and Sean Kim, they’re going to have to perform tomorrow to catch up. We are getting some rain tomorrow, but it’ll be early. And then we’ve got that same westerly wind, but it will get up to 27 mph or some of the gusts. I think it’s good that she admits she was nervous. When she won that Augusta National Women’s Amateur, she admitted that she didn’t sleep too well the night before. That’s okay. It shows you care. It’s But like you said, Richard, it’s how she handles that. Get off to a good start tomorrow and all is good, but you just want to make sure that you start well. And Amy, who would you say is the biggest danger then to that potential title tomorrow? I’d say someone like Sean Kim, major champion, Hu Kim as well. And also, you can’t you can’t rule out the world number one, but she is going to have to have a low score tomorrow. Well, whatever happens, it’s going to be a fascinating watch. We’re on air an hour earlier tomorrow. You do not want to miss this final round of the ISPS Hander Women’s Scottish Open where Lotty W is on the verge to create more history. We’ll see you then. Bye-bye. Hey, I know. Heat up
