In the final round of the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open, Chris Gotterup turned in a 4-under 66, finishing at 15-under for the tournament, two strokes clear of the field for his second victory of his PGA TOUR career.

The PGA TOUR heads across the pond for the Genesis Scottish Open. The event, co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour, is set to boast a field consisting of many of the world’s top players including FedExCup and World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, back in action for the first time since the Travelers Championship. Scheffler will be joined by 2022 champion Xander Schauffele and fellow two-time major champion Collin Morikawa. Recent U.S. Open winner J.J. Spaun is also in the field, meaning all four reigning major champions will tee it up this week. Robert MacIntyre returns to defend his home country’s open, which he won in dramatic fashion in 2024, and is attempting to become the first to go back-to-back in tournament history. Rory McIlroy, a previous winner at the Genesis, will be looking to regain form before The Open is played in his native Northern Ireland the following week.

putting all your nations together, Andrew. Well, why don’t you get the Kiwis involved? Ask them. They’re your neighbors. Well, they kind of tried that yesterday. They still got beaten by uh by the lions. Well, yeah. Practice run. He likes that fade. Power fade. So, trail this out. That’s a good dig. Oh, goodness me. It’s It’s going to be unlucky. That is an unbelievable shot from that location. So strong, Andrew. Fortunate flatter into the flag. Probably would have worked its way in the wall of death and finished off the You get what you deserve. And the flight of the second shot was just what he wanted. It didn’t reach the top of its flight. It dipped down. It’s just freshen now. Does this boy go left like he did yesterday or does he go right? Now there’s your answer. Left all day long. and it way left yesterday. Got away with it. They made a great living being left to writers. It’s tough quality golf. Simply that. Certain two for him. It’s been a much better day. He’s four under so far for the final round. got her up turn seven. He’s found the middle of the cap. He’s also found a share of the lead alongside Michael Roy. 316 to cover the bunker down in the middle of the fairway. I’m not sure that would have carried it, but he was just right of it. Oh, Rory, you ra you. What a four you made on that last. Up the face of the trap. You flush a five and you bin one. Hopefully get a little bit of grab on about the third bounce and then release it. Grab. Oh yes. pitched just in a little ups slope and stalled it. A little bit of check and did very well to get it this close. So got her up trying to hang tough with Maroy and he does to be fair to him. He’s holding his own. Three birdies for the field so far and there’s going to could be three birdies for this free ball. hits a little knuckle, but Kenny’s bang on. With two goodens, you can reach. So, 170 would be very good, Andrew. Just get it on that short stuff. Then you can you can make hay out of the hay. Good. Excellent. Excellent shot. The further left it goes, the angle’s slightly better, but far enough back to be able to spin it to this very tight right pin at 10. Good firm hit. Definitely the right strategy. It’s a good choice in the end. Nicely played shot. Go the top of the pile. And it goes for the increasingly impressive. Got stood himself one clear. See that whole location perched on the edge of the world. It looks like I think they missed the world actually. Don’t slide too far left. Oh wow. This gorgeous shot by Godup. The only part of his game that’s held him back a little bit in his young career on tour. Just pours it in to take the two shot lead with a two at the 12th. Such an impressive birdie. There’s just only been five twos there today. Going to the far right side of the T- box. Starting to set a better angle. He’s going to need lucky bounce here. The thick stuff’s on that right side. Yesterday missed the green with eight iron. [Applause] Please. trundle its way over. It’s not too bad. You get a little teach from Maroy. It’s a wonderful view here to see how steep the crest of that hill is. Really thought Frank he might have used the hill more to his advantage. Had a lie good enough to spin it a touch. Oh, right in the middle. The two shot lead is back with just two to go. That is huge. He knew it. Lag. Well, he hasn’t deviated from what he knows how to do. That is for certain. Stay up there. Rolls up against the collar of the second cut. That will not be an easy two putt or chip. Easy to leave this short. [Music] About four feet left, but he’s been really good from that distance on this second nine. Yeah, just Oh, he’s been rock solid on the greens. Fivewood like yesterday all the way up front of the wall. Yeah, that’s no problem right there. Looking at 270 to carry those bunkers. He’s got that easy. And job number one is done. That’s what he was looking for. Yep, that’s well played. Maybe he’ll pull a little JJ Spawn. Close it out with a big one. Just wanted to get it close. finishes in style and golf has a new upandcomer. [Applause] Nothing but respect from Rory for what he saw and Windham as well. Thanks for watching the PJ Tour on YouTube. For more, click here. And to subscribe, click here.

  1. First saw Chris on Good Good, now he's winning 2 PGA Tour events. Congrats Chris for the second win

  2. Dudes a stick! He’s had like 8 top 20s in a row..w a few top tens in there. I think he’ll win a few more times

  3. Gotterup should tell the media to kiss his rear end because they only showed highlights of Rory Mcilroy all the way up till the end of the tournament.

  4. Congratulations Gotterup, it’s was a cheap ruling by official to give you a slow play warning on the 15 hole, I hope these officials get fired.
