Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2026 LPGA Maybank Championship | Golf News and Tour Information

In 2025, Japan’s Miyu Yamashita won the Maybank Championship in a playoff with a four-round total of 18-under 270. This year, the 25-year-old is already at 18 under through 54 holes at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Malaysia, holding a two-shot edge over Yan Liu and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard as she aims to win her third LPGA title of the 2026 season and her fifth in 14 months.

Yamashita’s ball-striking has been impressive in her title defense. During Saturday’s third round, she hit 13 of 14 fairways and 15 of 18 greens as she posted a third straight score in the 60s. That said, she’s coming into the tournament with momentum having finished inside the top-10 in four straight starts. That leaves her with 12 top-10s to date in 2025 as she is putting together the best LPGA season of her young career.

If Yamashita holds on to win, she’ll claim a $450,000 first-place prize money payout from an overall purse of $3 million.
