Corporate leaders, C-suite executives and high-net-worth
investors from across East Africa are set to converge in Zambia in October for
a seven-day golf and investment summit aimed at creating business partnerships,
investment opportunities and cross-border deals.
The Zambia Golf & Investment Summit 2026 will take place
from October 14 to 20, bringing together business executives, investors and
policymakers for a programme combining golf, structured business engagements
and tourism experiences.
The summit is jointly organised by Stejos Tours &
Travel, Dahlia Safaris and Zambia’s Trekking Tours.
Organisers say the event has been designed as a targeted
business platform rather than a conventional networking gathering, with
participants expected to engage directly with Zambian business leaders,
potential joint-venture partners, institutional investors and government
stakeholders.
The summit will focus on sectors identified as key areas of
growth, including agribusiness, technology, real estate, energy, mining,
healthcare and regional tourism.
Participants will take part in executive roundtables,
investment forums, private fireside discussions and business-to-business
matchmaking sessions focused on cross-border trade, policy frameworks and
market-entry opportunities in Southern Africa.
The programme will also incorporate golf as a platform for
relationship building, with rounds planned at some of Zambia’s established golf
courses.
The seven-day, six-night programme will begin in Lusaka,
where delegates will stay at Ciela Resort.
The first day will include a visit to Chaminuka Estate,
where participants will have access to activities including wine and cheese
tasting, coffee sampling, wildlife drives and boat cruises.
Other activities will include horseback riding, bush walks,
tennis, swimming and visits to art exhibits.
The day will conclude with a welcome dinner and networking
session involving representatives from Zambia’s investment promotion agency and
chambers of commerce.
According to the organisers, the evening will provide
opportunities for B2B matchmaking, government investment briefings, sector
presentations and one-on-one meetings between investors and prospective
partners.
Day Two will combine golf and cultural experiences,
beginning with a round at Lusaka Golf Club before delegates visit Chilenje
House, Oliver Tambo Heritage House and Kabwata Cultural Village.
The main investment programme will take place on Day Three
at Bonanza Golf Resort under the theme “Zambia Golf & Investment Summit:
Driving Business Through Sport”.
The forum will explore opportunities in mining, agriculture,
renewable energy, real estate and technology, alongside discussions on trade,
tourism and investment.
The afternoon programme will feature roundtable business
sessions and fireside chats before a gala dinner and awards ceremony.
Delegates will then travel to Livingstone, where they will
stay at Radisson Blu Livingstone Resort.
The itinerary includes a guided tour of Victoria Falls,
offering views from both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides, as well as a
Livingstone city tour and a walk with lions experience.
Golf will remain central to the programme, with participants
scheduled to play at Livingstone Royal Golf Club on Day Five.
The day will end with a sunset cruise along the Zambezi
River followed by a farewell dinner.
On Day Six, delegates will travel by coach across the
Kazungula Bridge before entering Botswana for a safari in Chobe National Park.
The excursion will include a Chobe River safari cruise,
where participants will have an opportunity to view elephant herds and other
wildlife while taking in the landscapes around the Savuti channel.
The organisers have created two participation packages.
The Lusaka Only Package, running from October 14 to 17,
costs USD2,000 (about Sh260,000) per person sharing and USD2,400 (about Sh312,000)
for single occupancy.
It includes accommodation at Ciela Resort, return flights
from Nairobi to Lusaka, participation in the Bonanza Golf Day and Business
Networking Summit, the Lusaka Golf Day competition and a Chaminuka Estate
wine-tasting experience.
The Full Lusaka and Livingstone Experience costs USD3,400
(about Sh442,000) per person sharing and USD4,100 (about Sh533,000) for single
occupancy.
The package includes three nights at Ciela Resort and three
nights at Radisson Blu Livingstone Resort, alongside the summit’s business,
golf and tourism activities.
Organisers said participation would be strictly managed to
maintain a high level of engagement and facilitate meaningful business
connections.
“Rather than focusing merely on general event reach, the
organisers have structured the summit around direct deal flows and qualified
business engagements,” the organisers said.
They encouraged interested executives, investors and golfers
to register early through industry associations and elite golf clubs as they
seek to position the summit as a regional platform for business expansion and
investment partnerships.
