Scottie Scheffler has been projected to reign supreme at the PGA Tour’s season-ending Tour Championship this week and win the FedEx Cup title again.
It all comes down to the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club as Scheffler and co battle it out to win the FedEx Cup and $10m winning prize fund.
Scheffler won the Tour Championship, and subsequently the FedEx Cup title in 2024, before Tommy Fleetwood broke his duck last year as the new winner-takes-all format kicked in.
Tour Championship 2026 supercomputer
However, in a supercomputer, conducted by canadasportsbetting.ca, Scheffler has been backed for glory again. The American has been given a 16% chance of triumphing, and 45% probability of finishing in the top three.
For Rory McIlroy though, there’s heartbreak as he’s set to finish second – with the supercomputer handing him a 10% chance of glory and 30% probability of placing in the top three.
Xander Schauffele has been tipped to finish third (7.5% chance of winning, with Matt Fitzpatrick fourth (6.5%) and Cameron Young fifth (5.5%).
Wyndham Clark, who pipped McIlroy to win the BMW Championship last week, has been tipped to finish seventh this time out.
Finally, reigning champion Fleetwood is projected to finish 10th – with only a 4% chance of repeating the feat.Â
