World number 1 Scottie Scheffler was dominant in winning the St Jude Championship on Sunday at TPC Southland in Memphis, finishing at 17 under for an 8-stroke win over second-place Si Woo Kim at 9 under; Sam Burns and Alex Noren tied for third at 8 under. This was the first round of the FedEx Cup playoffs. The Top 50 now advance to the second round this week at the BMW Championship at Bellerive Golf Course in St. Louis.
