Jacob Bridgeman played alongside his Presidents Cup teammate Jackson Koivun during the first two rounds of the Biltmore Championship Asheville last week.
Bridgeman emerged victorious on Sunday at the Biltmore Championship following a special final round of 61 in North Carolina.
Meanwhile, Koivun also enjoyed a successful week at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, finishing up in a tie for fifth following his rounds of 63 and 65 over the weekend.
Now Jacob Bridgeman and Jackson Koivun will be turning their attention to the Presidents Cup at Medinah this week.
Bridgeman has been the best putter on the PGA Tour in 2026, and Team USA will need the 26-year-old to get hot on the greens at Medinah this week.
Koivun is also an exceptional putter, and the fact they played together this week alongside vice-captain Webb Simpson suggests that Brandt Snedeker may be considering them as a pairing.
Jacob Bridgeman and Jackson Koivun are pumped for the Presidents Cup
Bridgeman and Koivun are clearly raring to go at Medinah.
After his victory in North Carolina on Sunday, the 26-year-old American spoke to reporters.
Bridgeman was asked whether he is happy with his year’s work so far.
“Yeah, my goal to start the year was to win, make East Lake, and make the Presidents Cup, so I hit all those and hit the win category twice,“ he replied.
“Pretty amazing. Super excited about Presidents Cup next week. I’m very pleased with how I’m playing rolling into it, and I think everyone else is just as pumped as I am.
