After two weeks in Hawaii, the PGA Tour is back in the continental United States to begin its five-week West Coast Swing.

The 2025 American Express gets underway Thursday in La Quinta, California. There are 156 players in the field, and the first three rounds will be contested at three courses: PGA West’s Pete Dye Stadium Course, the Nicklaus Course and La Quinta Country Club. After three rounds, the field will be cut and those to make it will play Sunday at the Stadium Course.

Last year, Nick Dunlap became the first amateur in 33 years to win on the PGA Tour when he captured the American Express. He’s back to defend his title this year, coming off a T-10 finish at the Sony Open.

Here’s what you need to know for the 2025 American Express, including TV information.
