Still don't understand from parallel to the the top and the rest of the swing the hands have to do something and you have to hinge or the face just stays super super closed and you chunk it.
I watched a video from you about how to set up with your irons little bit forward shaft Lane more weight on the left foot or left side and admit I probably got lazy in my set up. I tried it today and it was gold flushing iron shots thank you so much.
Now I see why you say club inside a little on the backswing. What about the driver though? I'm not tall and need all the stretch I can get out of my backswing and follow through.
Nope…his hands DO adjust. Right after he says "..continue moving through the ball", watch his hands. They make a supinate move. Not saying it's bad, just that there is an adjustment. From the position in the downswing where his hands are at his right pocket, if he freezes his hands and pulls thru the hitting area, the club face will be wide open. So you either have to supinate the hands OR turn your body aggressively to square the face. Whichever he has chosen, he does it well. But, there is an adjustment.
If you start with a neutral grip, true quiet hands happen when you simply rotate your shoulders to arms parallel to ground position. At this point the back of your left hand will be facing the ground, the clubhead will be toe out, not up. At the top, the clubhead will be toe out, not down. From here you rotate shoulders back to the arms parallel to ground position and without any stopping, you can either do a body release by turning thru the ball or continue to rotate your shoulders down and thru impact. In the latter method you must maintain the right wrist angle thru impact or occasionally suffer fat hits.
I have been really struggling with my irons lately and this tip has been a game changer. Its keeps everything on plane. Before i was adjusting my hands which was then effecting my back swing path and then ruining the whole down swing. This tip has solved that problem. Thanks tom keep up the good work. All the best from a united kingdom follower 👍
What is a good swing thought to start down swing with this? I’ve played great golf with this but lately I’m flipping through causing thin and fat shots.
Hardest thing for me is keeping hands quiet. My left hand, being a Mollydooker, likes to take charge. Love to know what can do about him (aside from numbing it). Simple thought Tom thanks.

Effective and make sense , thanks Tom
In full speed, I open the club on the back swing and closed it a millimeter or two 😅then I get a cute draw 😊

My b00bs get in the way
This guy is legit
Typical commercial lesson. Been there 😂😂 None of this matter if you dont know how to release the angles.
So the club is angled?
But the trail hand is always cupped throughout right?
So what you’re saying is, start square, finish square. So I’m a square? I’ll take it👍🏼
I was on the range yesterday I over heard two guys talking about what Saguto says lol. They talking about you in California.

G'day Mate
Would the same concept apply to driver?
Makes me play better and makes me laugh – great golf coach!
I tried this today… My first round with zero “complete garbage” shots. Even got a birdie.
Terrible dresser.
Mr Saguto…yes you should be showing us. Over and over and over
