E all right what’s going on you guys Nick here with Nick strength and power so the prejudging for the 2024 Arnold Classic UK men’s open bodybuilding just wrapped up and honestly it’s a pretty interesting one so the first call out that you had here um was Samson daa and

Hottie of course joined by James hauling head and John delar Roa so that looked to be your top four John I think looked really impressive very similar to the Arnold Classic Ohio I think he was one of the most conditioned guys in this lineup very impressive conditioning I

Mean you look at him next to hottie and hottie is known as the most conditioned guy I think their conditioning was pretty comparable here um I think James looked pretty comparable to how he looked in Ohio um but they they did end up doing a separate call out with just

Samson and hottie so that is again clearly your top two I will say I wasn’t crazy about the lighting for the UK show definitely uh definitely a big difference between the UK lighting and the Ohio Lighting so again kind of like I said in the classic physique prejudging video it’s hard to

Make an Apples to Apples comparison as to whether or not these guys looked better here in the UK than they looked at Ohio because the lighting is just totally different here and I think that throw is throwing some people off a little bit but um it is going to come

Down to Samson and hottie they did a call out of just the two of them just like they did at the Arnold Ohio and I think really got to give props to Samson here I think Samson looked significantly better than he looked at the Arnold Ohio which all things considered the fact

That he’s no longer working with Milos the fact that he was sick going into this show the fact that he even said there’s a chance he might not do the show honestly when I was watching this I think Samson looks improved from the Ohio so you really got to give the guy

Props here because that’s that’s pretty impressive All Things Considered um hottie I think hotti looked better in Ohio I I think hottie was missing just a little bit of sharpness here the Ohio version like like a lot of people have said seemed to be maybe the best version

Of hottie that we had ever seen I think when you look at him here maybe the jet lag maybe the last minute flight he wasn’t quite as sharp as he was in Ohio um when you look at him hit those kind of side abdominals in the transitions

Where he shows his obliques his seratus his intercostals to me they didn’t look as sharp as they did in Ohio now when he hits the ABS and thighs you can see them just as well as you could in Ohio but kind of like that transition uh like the

Side tricep that he does in the side chest transition they don’t look as deep and as visible here however with that being said I think that this is going to be a little bit closer than it was at the Arnold Ohio between Samson and hottie I I think

That Samson really deserves some some props here I think he kind of redeemed himself he looks better than he looked in the Ohio and he’s got a lot of challenges that he faced to get here so I think that’s pretty impressive but I still think at the end of the day hottie

Is going to pull this off because even though hottie I didn’t feel was as sharp here as he was in Ohio I think there’s still a pretty visible difference in conditioning between him and Samson I think you can still see in most of the poses just a significant difference in

Conditioning but like I said I will say it was not as significant as it was in Ohio I felt like Ohio it wasn’t even really a conversation and hottie was like the hands down winner I feel like here it’s more of a conversation Samson to me looks better

Than Ohio he looks improved he looks a little bit tighter and frankly hottie does look like he faded a little bit from Ohio but I think he still brought enough here to win so I think it’s going to end up being hottie winning I’m thinking Samson in second in third it

Looks like John Del Rosa and I think the fourth and fifth place spots even though they had a separate call out for this they had a call out with AEM where AEM wasn’t joined by um the top four which included James and John but I I I do

Think AEM looked pretty good here I don’t think he looked as good as he looked at the Arnold Classic finals in Ohio um but I think you could make an argument for him in fourth so I think there’s probably going to be a battle between him and Hauling head for the

Fourth place spot but it’s looking like hottie winning Samson and second uh John and third and I I like AEM for fourth but I feel like they’re going to go with James now I did get a couple videos here from people that were sitting front row

In person and I think the lighting comes across a lot better in the inperson video so I feel like this is Worth showing here um because like I said I do feel like the quality of the stream and the quality of the lighting here for the UK um was significantly lower quality

Than the Ohio so I do think that’s worth pointing out and I was also told by people that were there in person they didn’t think it looked close it looks like hottie is the clear winner again so maybe it’s just not coming across as well on this live stream but make sure

You guys let me know what you think in the comments down below um especially you know let me know what you think about the live stream honest opinions here because we had a lot of positive things to say about the Ohio live stream and the lighting there um and I’m not

Going to sugarcoat this one because I think this one was a little bit harder to see I think the lighting was darker um in the quality of the stream for me and I had this blown up on a uh I’ve got a 36 in Samsung monitor that I watched

These on with the brightness cranked all the way up and to me it seemed pretty dark and the quality seemed pretty choppy and also make sure to let me know your top three predictions for men’s open bodybuilding in the comments down below cuz I think like I said this this

Does look to be a little bit of a closer competition here and I think you’ve got a little bit more of a battle between Samson and hottie than you had in Ohio so this is actually exciting and I don’t think as many people really expected Samson to come back potentially better

Than the Ohio show so let me know what you guys think in the comments below now let’s move on to the classic physique results all right so for the classic physique finals in sixth place you had Dennis Romanov in fifth Emanuel rotti in fourth Michael deul third ERS cisinski

In second Brion Ansley and your winner again Wesley Visser so this is pretty much exactly what we predicted at prejudging um this is a well-deserved second place by the way for Brion anley I thought Brion looked tremendous here and I think he finally got a little bit

More of the props that he deserved at the Arnold Classic Ohio he got fourth place but he was able to move up here ahead of Ur So he looked that much better here even though I also thought ERS looked improved from the Ohio show but I thought Brion really did look

Phenomenal here and during that majority of the prejudging they just had Brion and Wesley next to each other so I felt like um he was a lock for a second Wesley like I said I don’t think he looked as tight as he did at the Ohio show but I

Think he did enough to win um obviously with Ramone Dino being absent that was his main competition in Ohio it was kind of a safe bet that he was going to win but I think this was actually pretty close I think I think Brion looks significantly better than the Ohio show

And if this version of Brion had showed up in Ohio maybe we would have had a different runner up in Ohio this was a really really good version of Brion anley uh and I think it was a well-deserved second like I said he moved up and he was able to defeat Z

Which is something he hasn’t done in a few years now but I think this is important for Wesley because he’s really cemented himself now as one of the top guys it wasn’t just a one-time thing it wasn’t just a fluke at the Arnold Classic Ohio he was able to do it two

Times backto back so he’s really here he’s really at the top he’s beating the top guys in backto back shows so I think he’s really cemented himself in that conversation as really the front runner going into the Olympia to challenge Chris bumpstead I mean obviously Ramone

Dino was the biggest threat at the Ohio show because he was the Olympia runner up but here again he beat the top guys to win the UK show so he’s really proving that it’s not just a onetime thing he can do it more than once um

Even though I do feel like he looked better in Ohio this was a really good package for Wesley but you definitely got to take your hat off to both Brion and ERS because I think ERS improved but Brion looked really really good here this was one of my honestly I think this

Was one of my favorite versions of brion’s physique to be completely honest he looked he looked really impressive here so shout out to Brion shout out to Wesley I think it was a well-deserved Victory but let me know what you guys think in the comments down below um

About Wesley winning this lineup and what do you think this means going into the Olympia do you think that Wesley will be a legitimate Contender a legitimate threat to Chris Bumstead and now you got to consider you know with Chris having a baby on the way if Chris

Does choose to retire at this year’s Olympia or maybe not even do this year’s Olympia which I think both of those are on the table as possibilities that could put Wesley as the front runner to be the next classic physique Mr Olympia that’s a totally realistic possibility to
