There could be many reasons why your hooking the golf ball! Try This Drill.
In Part 2 I will talk more about the grip and alignment, in order to fix that hook.
This drill is great to help fix that excessive In-to-out swing path. Start bringing that swing path back to neutral and watch a better ball flight!

Hey I go with my dad to the driving range sometimes but not often enough to improve and I have this issue where I just barely clip the ball. Whether it's the very bottom of the club or the tip. Almost every drive is like that. Any tips and tricks to correct that?
Why am I watching a golfing tip? I've never played golf in my life.
In other words, how to hit a slice
What about a NASTY slice. My club head speed is in the upper 90's and my slice is like nothing you've ever seen
that's a big hook
– pin high country club golf
Baseball player do this often. I work at a golf course.
Really happy about getting rid of that slice and trading it in for a nice hook
Good idea but if they don't have proper body mechanics it doesn't matter what there swing path is.
Club twirl after hitting the headcover 😎🤘
These are unfinished instructions, how do I deal with all the other golfers being mad that I ask them to stop hitting so I can go get my head cover that I smashed 20 yards into the range after every swing?
this is wrong…don’t do this
Pure nonsense
Bro the balls just disappeared
Are you an amateur golfer or a pro?
I can slice the ball like an absolute champ, I believe it has to donwith the fact my shafts are way to soft, and intend to open my club face.. I just cant break this.
You should be getting your club more into a vertical position at the top of your swing. If your backswing looks a lot like this guys there's a good chance you're going to be hooking the ball.
What a beautiful swing
I honestly love this guy, legit tips all the time. None of this repeated bs tips other YouTubers copy.
Now go fetch your headcover where the balls are flying…
As soon as a ball, towel, beachball, balloon, 6ft pole, two tee pegs, golf ball cartons etc.etc.etc. come into a tuition that's when I know it's going to be USELESS and time to SWITCH OFF IMMDLY
Not negating any way what you are saying but sometimes you just get too quick and turn wrist over prematurely Good tempo slowing backswing helps
Most amateur golfers don’t hook, they slice
I mean good videos but if you’re hooking your not rotating your left shoulder fast enough. Just the opposite with a slice you’re jerking that left shoulder to start the downswing. I’d say keep the back to target for a slight moment then rotate
Good bye my cover,, forever!
The video could be titled, “how to break a driver”
Put wd-40 on all your clubs
I hit hooks 24/7 but almost never hit a slice while trying to
Nice one , definitely trying this tomorrow. Struggling with a serious bad hook, completely ruining my game at the moment..
Jus watched this at the driving range n fixed It instantly. Knew yu were the right guy to come too
I mashed in the face of my brand new TaylorMade M4 first time out. What do I do about this?
If I keep pulling the ball straight left, I’m throwing my clubs in the trash. I’ve lost more balls in the last month than I have in 5 years. Maybe time to quit the game.
Thanks ! Worked perfect
This will help me out a lot. I was hitting good one round but i lowly started hitting a worse and worse hook through my round. Can wait to give this a try, love the vids
Wtf I’ve been golfing for 5 years my adult life and I’ve always hit 300 bombs down the middle but my short game was terrible, I have my short game dialed in and now I’m hitting 200 yard drives that hook 80 yards. I just lost 13 balls in 18 holes. Literally have no idea what’s going on it feels like I’ve never swung a driver in my life
