  1. Apologizes for the soft focus at times! Trying out some new hardware to up the quality! Figured some stuff out so should be fixed next vid ❤🎉

  2. Too much whacky scramble formats with GG to fit all the guys into a video. Grant/Micah is more like real golf.

  3. Micha will never be a pro as long as he has a YouTube channel. Hope I'm wrong for the young man, but I see the vast difference when he has a pro as a guest on the channel.

  4. Grant and his wife live with Micah and his wife. Also BustaJack bought Micah's house in Texas. Grant and Micah got a much better deal with TaylorMade than they would have received as a member of GOOD_GOOD.

  5. This doesn't have like an sense… worth it? What means worth it !? Do they miss it-i am sure Grant & Garret were unmached and still are as pair who traveled making series. They are a bit older, 100%planning family. I think they are happy on Florida doing their thing. Grant will 100% be golf teacher after youtube golf peaks. Micah still has Pro wishes. So yes i am sure it was worth it and they had very good reasons to go if they decided to do it.

  6. What annoys me is that they wouldn't have any followers if it wasn't for gg and garrett. They just used them and left. They're nobody's without gg

  7. Definitely good for Micah & Grant. Moved to FL, can do videos anytime and anywhere they want. I’ve enjoyed Micah & Grant’s content far more than good good lately. Still like good good as well, but just been less interested since Tig & Grant left. To each their own though.

  8. I do miss Micah. He’s awkward, but I enjoyed the more mature tone compared to the other gg members. Definitely like him more than Luke

  9. Micah is and has been boring. He isn’t nearly as good of a golfer as he thinks he is either. Idk who put in his head he can go pro but he really isn’t close. Aside from they I think his maturity level was too high for GG so it makes sense

  10. I’m on the Grant/Micah side of the this. Good good just does nothing for me. Borrring. The biggest loss in the YT golf community was the relationship between Garrett and Grant and Micah. Grant and Micah have carried that forward. I will agree I expected bigger things from them. But I think you’re right, maybe GG wasn’t best for their situations and family. Micah’s game seems to have gotten worse. He had like two training videos and I thought there would be more there with working towards pro tournaments. Grants game has definitively gotten better. Driving and putting better than ever. I am surprised they haven’t had more pro matches with TM guys similar to Foreplay or even done anything with Foreplay yet.

  11. Grant was a priceless member of the group! Grant is missed but Good Good is still 🐐 and Rick Shiels gotta give him props too legendary golf channels

  12. Ok, Tig wants to be a pro. He realized being with GG was actually bad for his game. To get better you have to play against better. Look at Kwon. He'll probably realize this as well. His game is suffering. Grant and Garrett made eachother better at times but GG just isn't a good prep for tournament golf.

  13. They are both still making more money than anyone could possibly hope for in any other 9-5 career. Probably 7+ figures? They couldn’t deal with the content geared to kids and goofy golf videos.

  14. Grant – Micah both married chose Florida. The Goodgood boys… Texas based. This is why. I’m ok with it.

  15. Nate and everyone else. I too believe that Grant left for the reasons of family. I have never heard him speak ill of Garrett or anyone from GG. I believe Micah really does want to become a playing pro. It is a location thing for Tig. The great golf and pros are all down in Florida. Glad to see that they all live together there. The thing i hear from folks about Tig, is that he is boring or numb on camera. I feel that he has chosen the right people to be around and his camera appeal will get better as his game improves. Total Props to Tig for going after his dream. Lets see in a year where both of them are. I am predicting they both will be doing great. Plus I too have not watched a single GG video after Grant left. I am older and want to see good golf not antics. I do however miss Grant and Garrett colabs but they were mostly on Garretts channel. The wealth was not spread evenly IMO. Tif if you read this. Smile more and look at every shot, round and YT colabs as a learning lesson. I can see you are trying. Do not force it. It will come with more and more confidence. Thank you Nate for this platform of expression.

  16. It’s gotta be just the fact Micah fell out with Bubbie and probably the other guys in general. They had some awkward moments on podcasts talking about their “beef.” Grant is maybe a bit more mature and has different interests and grew apart as well. I guess he couldn’t stand them enough to spend one week per month together playing golf lol.. weird just say you grew apart and wish you the best. Then no speculation or rumors like this would flood the internet. Also weird they all collab with every golf creator on YouTube except for good good like they’re allergic to each other now 😂

  17. the question in my mind is would Tig be doing as well if not for Grant's exit also. It really seems like Tig is trying to compete with Good Good (and has a chip on his shoulder about it) whereas Grant has the personality and the golf to make it no matter where he is – and he always made it clear that he wanted to be in Florida.

  18. I personally miss the energy of garret and grant at least on the gm golf channel and their matches, no offense to Micah but he’s pretty negative a lot especially if grant is playing better than him that day

  19. Good insights. I think you should do a one year check in on the same subject. It'll be interesting to see what their views and subscribership (sp?) numbers are like after a year away from GG.

  20. Heres my take on the whole thing.

Good Good capitilized on the huge expansion of the sport of golf when it peaked during the Covid BS.

Everyone on the original Good Good group had their own little quirks and personality they brought to the group that loved to have a good time while playing competitively.

The weird thing about the "divorce" is that Tig and Grant have both claimed that they wanted to focus more on the potential of playing on some sort of professional tours.

This is where I call BS and there was in fact some heat within the group. If you want to go play professionaly, youre not going to continue to push out the AMOUNT of content that they do while literally playing the same ways they played with Good Good. Your focus would be on literally YOUR GAME, not continuing to have a camera in your face everytime you go out.

As far as Tig, I think he is good, but his personality is not condusive to what people want of YouTube Golf. He gets too butt hurt way too easily, it effects his whole round and then he just gets worse and worse to watch. I understand being competitive, because I get pissed all the time with my game, but I also dont have a platform for everyone to see.

Last thing is I think this is A HUGE BUSINESS MOVE for all parties involved. Lets just put it this way, the Payday for these guys for a colab in 3-5 years would be insane! They cant hold out forever because eventually the flame will die out, but I think this is a huge power move for a big payday.

  21. I think people get hung up on 'things" how do you quantify a feeling or an attitude or a mindset? I think both Micah and Grant are happy, satisfied and hopefully at peace with their decision. I love their current content.

  22. Something I don’t see anyone talking about is the decision for them to leave was based on their relationship with God (Jesus). I’ve heard Grant talk about his faith in other videos and I’ve seen them both collaborate with other creators that I know have some kind of relationship with God.

I think it’s as simple as these guys felt convicted with being a part of a group that all weren’t in “one accord” with their beliefs and values. I also believe this is why it’s difficult to talk about. Because it would cause a lot of push back from a LOT of viewers. Most wouldn’t understand from Grant and Micah’s point of view and won’t relate.

I’ve been thinking this for awhile and just had the urge to say something. I could be completely wrong but I see this as a valid reason to why all of it seems “off”.

  23. Can honestly say I’ve consumed next to zero content produced by Grant and Micah since they left, while watching all of GoodGood and most of GM Golf’s videos. It’s just not the same.. no hate or shame, but as a content consumer, neither Grant nor Micah has enough personality to do it like GoodGood. If they’re happy, good for them.

  24. You make the best point. Genuinely, the "worth" of leaving is going to be personal at the end of the day. The metrics are what we can see though, and they do still matter in a legitimate way. Have their views dipped? Are their channels growing at all? For Micah, is he actually getting any closer to getting to the KF tour – regardless of being a YT'er or not?

Those are the questions that I'd be curious about. Like you said, no one can really speak to how they feel in terms of pressure/freedom/etc other than themselves. I think we've had plenty of time to see the analytics, and I'm kind of surprised you didn't come to the table with that today. I'd love to see you look at the numbers and charts and talk about the actual literal "worth" of the change, positive or negative.

Obviously, for the fans it'll always be tough to see the worth (unless you're someone who thought the guys were too immature or Grant/Micah were too serious, then you seem to think that this was the best thing ever), because we all know how good the chemistry was with all six of them together. But if the data shows growth (or lack thereof), then you can't really argue with that.

  25. Good good content without grant and Micah is not the same, not as good. That said Luke Kwon is a great add and keeps the content still top notch, still the best out there imo

  26. Grant and Micah content is still good, and the colabs are the best part. Overtime I think notoriety from Good Good halo affect wears out and limits them to just another YouTube golfer. In a few years GG will have 10 mil subs and Luke Kwon will have more than them.
