This is such a critical concept. It’s easy to just use arms going back, but as you point out, then you’re stuck. The trunk rotation is the move. I learned this during a lesson with Dana Dahlquist. I feel like I’m turning my sternum/rib cage to the top. Great post, sir!
I'm on a golf comeback. I am having to re-learn a lot of the main ideas in the swing. As with the major moves in pretty much all sports, its all about hips and shoulders and less about arms and even less about hands. The big muscle groups take care of 90% of the swing.
