Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

First off, your reviews, as well as your other videos are the best in golf! Love the breaking 75 series in particular. That being said, now that you've reviewed the new driver offerings from TaylorMade, Callaway, Cobra and Ping, it would be great to see a chart comparing the data from all the above, including dispersion.
I suppose the difference between the sft425 and sft430 is not huge also…there is a "super" draw sliding weight🤔 asking for a friend…

I got a Callaway Rogue ST Max LS for Christmas and I'm devastated. After watching the recent reviews I want a Paradym or one of these bad boys. I'm getting a divorce she NEVER listens 🤬
My pops is a golf professional who has seen all of the new drivers on a launch monitor. New Titleist has the highest ball speed and it’s not close.

Rick any thoughts of upgrading shaft? Maybe the 430 would out perform by a bigger margin with a fitting?

The Ping Rapture driver was carbon.
I've played with the G430 Max and it was easier to hit than my current gamer G425 Max. Kudos on another solid review and not the bs reviewers who hit the new model longer every year. I'm switching as soon as it's released here in the states.

The rules in clubmaking are fix an the can't produced more power or so. Maybe a little bit forgiveness🤏 but, lessons are better than a new driver🤷🏻♂️

I'm after a new fairway wood. The Ping is in the running. Great review as always. To be honest I had a Ping G430 fairway and the headcover on that was also cheap and flimsy. I know it's a minor detail and the performance of the club is what's important, but when you are paying top $$$, you expect something half decent.

Work at a golf shop so I have hit pretty much every model. Hated that G425 sound as-well rick. Hit that G430 and that was my immediate reaction. Sounds Amazing.

Great review just got a 425 three wood. Love it, haven’t had a three wood in 15 years. Haven’t hit a bad shot with it yet. Currently hitting a PXG driver and irons may go back to Ping.
Okay, so Rick. What driver will you put in the bag, the new Callaway Paradym, the new Ping G430 LST, The new Talyormade Stealth 2.0, or the Cobra Aerojet.
Great review, maaaaaay be skipping driver upgrades this year after seeing this. Though, I might still see how that LST feels. Currently play a G425 max, and may just tinker with shafts if I really feel antsy this year.
Superb Rick, have binned my sim max for the 430 LST, hopefully it’ll be a game changer for me, sounds great and looking forward to hitting a few more fairways. Cheers

After seeing all the new drivers this year, it seems like unless you have money to burn on a driver ever year or two, then you shouldn't switch unless you swing changes drastically or you driver is at least 5 years old.
I find it kinda funny that the new Ping looks like it should be a Cobra RadSpeed driver with its color scheme, and the Cobra looks like it should be a Tour Edge club lol.
Great comparison, would love to see the G425 LST comparison with the G430 LST.

Maybe we need to watch those videos where it shows that using the latest clubs versus a ten year old set makes bu55er all difference to club golfers!!

I’d love to see a ranking of best sounding drivers. I know it doesn’t affect your game too much, but I love the sound my SIM 2 makes
But I thought the Callaway was the best driver?
