Golf is a precision game. As such, we must ensure the equipment we use is in good condition and balance.

This video is a tutorial on how to check balls for balance. To make the ball float, you need to have the following:

x Sleeve of new golf balls.
x 12-15 TBSP Epsom Salts
x Container three times or more wider than golf ball
x 2 1/2 cups luke-warm water
x Sharpie

Then:

1. Fill container with water.
2. Gradually add Epsom salts and mix.
3. Add the ball to the water. It should float.
4. If it does not float, add more salts.
5. Continue until the ball floats.
6. Push ball to bottom of container and let is
rise to the surface.
7. When the ball is totally still, take your Sharpie
and place a dot where the ball is straight up. The
opposite side is the heavy side of the ball.
8. Repeat step 6 and 7. If the ball gives you random
places, the ball is perfectly round. However, if it
keeps coming back to your dot, you know the ball
is heavy to that one side.

That’s it… Easy.. Boom…
