James Yeomans was crowned Emirates Golf Club 2026 Men’s Club Champion after a gross score of 75, 71 for a total of 146 (+2).
80 golfers competed in the 2026 Men’s Club Championship, which was a 36-hole Strokeplay event, with the first round beginning on the Faldo course, and the final round taking place on the Majlis course.
Yeomans’ first round on the Faldo included a forgivable double bogey on hole eight, three bogeys, twelve pars and two birdies. His second round on the Majlis led him to victory, finishing his front nine level par, and his back nine one under par with one bogey on hole fourteen, but well-recovered with a two-birdie finish on seventeen and eighteen.
The runner-up spot went to Ross Jones with a gross score of 76, 73 for a total of 149 (+5). His opening round on the Faldo got off to a rocky start with four consecutive bogeys on the first four holes, followed by another two on seven and eighteen. He also had ten pars throughout his round and two birdies on ten and twelve. His second round on the Majlis featured three birdies, along with two bogeys and four pars to finish one under on the front nine. His back nine included two bogeys and seven consecutive, steady pars from holes twelve through to eighteen.
Third place went to Sanjay Dhandsa with a gross score of 76, 74 for a total of 150 (+6), winning with a better final round. His first round on the Faldo started with two bogeys and seven pars on the front nine. The back nine included a birdie-birdie start on holes ten and eleven, three pars and four bogeys. His second round on the Majlis started strong, with eight pars and a birdie on hole three, finishing his front nine one under par. His back nine consisted of three bogeys and six pars.
